Theia galloped beside the blue stallion with a quizzical look on her face. Now that she thought of it, Eeyore los or the Golden Buttefly that Flies Over Hill and Fallen Snow didn't look much like a wizard. Didn't the wizards always have that goofy hat on and wave about a little twig? And of course there were the big long white beards as well as if they were related to Santa Claus...They probably were relatives. Santa Claus just might be a big fat jolly old wizard who took up the hobby of enslaving elves to build toys. Yup yup.
She cast another look at the stallion. Well, looks can be desceiving, no? But still, he didn't look much like a wizard to Theia...perhaps he was one of those mystic tribal wizards? Yeeeeeees that was it. Yup yup, and that was the reason why he had referred to himself as an elemental wizard because shamans were of course in essential, elemental wizards. Yeeeeeeees, that was it. That was it. She gave a little self content smile for figuring out the problem so nicely before she began to chat.
"So where're we going? Where's that evil old squirrel, your anemone, hiding? Is he hiding in a tree? A desert? A volcano? A snowy peak of the highest mountain? I've always wanted to go to the top of mountains and a volcano sounds fun. Well, wherever he is, we WILL find him and DESTROY him, right, right, right?"

Volcanoes? She mentioned it several times, and once before. Yes- she had to be the voice in his dream. Though when he began to actually concentrate on her voice as she spoke, he realized it sounded far more familiar then just 'he heard it in a dream once'. Aeolus slowly came to a halt and didn't answer her question. He KNEW he never met her before. Perhaps they were around each other as baskets? At birth, before being placed in a basket? Perhaps... before birth? Aeolus blinked several times. That wasn't a possibility; it couldn't be.
But whoever she was, Aeolus began to feel a bit ashamed. Clearly she was of some importance on how his life tracks will lead. Whether a negative or positive affect, clearly negative, she was still an inevitable and important component- and he had been rude to her. "Say, what was your name again...?" Aeolus wasn't going to ditch her. No- he was going to go along with things a little longer before telling the truth; that there was SOME SORT of connection between them. She could be his murderer, his new best friend, nemesis <--most likely, or maybe she could even be his half or whole sibling.

Name, again? Theia raised an uncharacteristic eyebrow, why was he asking her name? Theia was a much easier name to remember than Eeyore los or even Golden Butterfly that Flies Over Hill and Fallen Snow (GBtFOHaFS for short of course,) wasn't it? Theia was a pretty short name consisting of only two syllables. She puzzled before it for a moment before realization dawned on her, why of course! Eeyore los was a wizard! And as with all wizards, they had all very goofy, long, complex names and Golden Butterfly that Flies Over Hill and Fallen Snow was so used to calling other fellow wizards by such long complicated names that he simply couldn't grasp the simplicity of her own name! Yes, that was it!
She gave a little bounce at her discovery, "Theia, I'm Theia!" Theia gave a little grin,"So where are we going? Mr. Eeyore los? Mr. Golden Butterfly that Flies Over Hill and Fallen Snow? Where is the bad guy? We'll crush him into the ground and send him flying out to OUTER SPAAAAAAAAACE!!!"

"Theia, why don't you just save yourself the trouble and call me Aeolus...? I don't mind, really," he said flatly, in fact, please do call me that. "Most of my colleagues call me that anyway..." He thought quickly, "in fact, the only one who doesn't... I'm pretty sure would be my arch nemesis- though he doesn't realize that. He doesn't even know people call me Aeolus. And I mean, he has good hearing an all so what I'm trying to say is don't call me by either of those two names or maybe he'll figure out that we're coming to ambush him..." He flicked an ear at her question. Where were they going...? He tried to think of someone that could pick things up easily and go ahead and play along with the little game but no one came to mind.
"He's... probably at his mansion... casting magic... or something." He had no idea where this was going anymore.

Theia gave a little frown. Aeolus? Well, it was a smaller mouthful than either Eeyore los or Golden Butterfly that Flies Over Hill and Fallen Snow, but it just, well, didn't have the right ring to it, did it? It wasn't as well, let's just say, eloquent? But Aeolus, she supposed, would just have to do, what with that no good evil-doer around, possibly watching and listening to them...WATCHING AND LISTENING TO THEM???? LIKE RIGHT NOW????
Theia came to a skidding stop, spun hurridly around and crouched low, edging towards the side of a bush, and with a low hushed voice, "Hey, A-e-o-l-u-s, could that terrible meanie be watching us from the shadows right now? What with his level of magic, spying on people should be no problem for him." She shifted sideways, her muscles tense and the corners of her eyes watched,"He's probably watching us right now, muttering darkly under his breath in his mansion, saying that we look all so suspicious, and casting evil curses upon us!!! Oh curses. We look too suspicious!!!" She gave a start and sprang up again, and resumed her happy bouncy, but heavily heavily emphasized and obviously fake,"We need to get going, Aeolus! We can't be late for the party!" She gave a wink.

"Yeah, he might just be." Aeolus silently gave a thanks of appreciation in his head. Finally, she was calling him by his name. Sort of at least, and hopefully she wouldn't return or switch to some other ridiculous name. It really took a load of frustration off his chest-- she improved a notch in his book.
Aeolus looked away when she winked. His cheeks were a little warm. "Yeah.. lets go." He trotted a little faster. Perhaps after a long walk at some point she'll forget about this endeavor or she'll go off on some other tangent. yum_puddi

"Okie-dokeys. Aeolus. Ready to save the world, here we go!" Theia continued to bounce happily, her heavily emphasized and obviously fake bouncing back to normal as she was cheery of the fact that the stallion seemed to be in a better mood now. Saving the world from great evil-doers is very very difficult and excruciating of course, and he did seem rather grumpy before, but at least he seemed to be in a much happier mood now. Perhaps because he found out that he was not the only one there to save the world? Rather odd child, showing his happiness in having a new partner in such a mild way. He should be bouncing for that is always the best way to show cheer. But alas, she will have to show him how it is done another time. Now was the for work.
"So Aeolus. Once we get to the mansion, what do we do to him? How do we defeat him? Dump water on him? Stab him with the Sword of Destiny? Or turn him into a mouse and have an owl eat him? Or can, can, can-" She had struck a rather marvelous thought and had been rendered temperory speechless. She continued,"COULD YOU FIGHT HIM? Like with MAGIC? Like a WIZARD'S DUEL????" It was awe-inspiring, for it is a once in a life time to see great beings of magic dueling each other.

Aeolus watched her bounce, wondering if she'd get tired soon. It was kind of distracting, but he wouldn't bring it up. Perhaps it was better to stick to a passive nature. That or maybe he was just starting to let go and accept the situation, or even warm up to her. Or even more likely he was just getting tired. He nodded his head as she listed possible ways to 'defeat the wizard', not really listening. He winced a little though when she shouted about a wizard duel and fighting him, he heard that one loud and clear at least. "I mean, if you want..." Aeolus had to be careful not to make any promises. If she realized that there was no wizards she might get upset, and Aeolus would probably feel bad for crushing her hopes and technically lying. No, why would you feel guilty? Just shrug it off. yum_onigiri

Her smile broadened as the stallion said that he would go and duel the great evil dark wizard. "Wait, really, really?" She peered at the stallion again. The beautiful markings were as evident as ever, white and gold against his dark blue pelt. What kind of magic would he be able to conjure? Something to do with butterflies? Or butter and flies? Or or or...she was at a loss, for such an amateur as herself, she of course did not know the great intricacies of the great world of magic, and she was unaware what kind of magic is attainable, and what type. But she supposed, it would be fascinating all the same, for of course, it was magic. And magic, by definition, must be magical, fascination, extraordinary, miraculous, exhilarating, all wrapped up into one. Yes indeed.
"So what is the battle plan? I do wish to see a wizard's duel. Unfortunately, I have not bared witness to one yet, but this is an awesome opportunity to do so. It's going to be fun, fun, fun. What kind of magic do you specialize in? Does it have to do with your markings? Is it butterfly-related? Can I help? I can draw magic circles if you tell me how to draw them. We can defeat the dark wizard together!"

"Only if you're on your best behavior," Aeolus almost smiled, almost, but not really. He noticed her peering, and didn't dare make eye contact. Something told him that would be dangerous, and he had to remind himself that despite her childish demeanor she was still poison and is probably leading him to his end right now. "Magic... is very draining you know." Not like he would know but it made sense. One of Theia's follower butterflies drifted over to him and he watched it for a moment while she asked if his powers were butterfly related. "I did say I was a wizard of wind, yes? Well, as the name implies I can manipulate wind. Take the flap of a butterfly's wing for example; with an extra push that slight breeze can turn into a gust, and with lots of motivation, even kick up a storm." She asked too many questions, it was hard to even remember them but hopefully that was a good enough answer.
The butterfly that had strayed away landed on his shoulder as if to rest. Though he should have barely felt its landing, it hit him like a sudden jolt. It felt like he had been suffering from amnesia all his life and had remembered everything at once. In a flash many feelings came to him, and what seemed to be a memory appeared before his eyes, however, he did not recognize it. Before he could decipher any of what he saw or felt it was gone, vanishing as quickly as it came. The butterfly had already returned to Theia's side. Aeolus's outter appearance didn't seem phased, as if nothing had happened, but his mouth and throat were dry and he was definitely shaken. "Theia... some how I get the feeling I've met you before." He finally got it out- what had been bothering him from the beginning. But what if she didn't feel the same? And what if she took that as a bad pick-up line? But that was so unnatural... it can't just be my imagination. yum_strawberry
