Cloud Dance smiled. "It is nice. I love to fly. My wings come from Momma. Dad's a 'normal' Soquili. He used to worry" She begins to giggle as she speaks. "Th...that I'd g...get away from hi...him by flying... He tried to find a way to get a leash on me but never did!"

Zareen tried to bite back a giggle. A soquili trying to put another soquili on a leash... Now that was a funny picture. She couldn't hold it back and giggled along side the other. "R...R....Really? Aw...." She tried to stop herself once again. "My mom was normal too. I'm a unicorn because of my father... All my siblings have. No one inherited his wings however..."

After a minute or so, Dance stopped giggling and beamed at the other. "Well that's what makes us all so interesting, though, isn't it? The way we are mixes of our parents, never looking like just one or the other." She nods and sighs happily. "Yeah, it's interesting."

Zareen nodded her head. "Yeah, yeah it is! That's why everyone is so different in the world. It sure makes things exciting..." All the different kinds of soquili there must be in the world, it made Zareen even more excited to be off on her own. "It would be boring if things were not that way..."

"Yeah, no kidding! If we were all the same, I'd die of the dull!" She giggles. "Life is so much better this way, there's no question of that!"

Zareen nodded her head. "Mm hm. That's for sure. Nobody would feel special if everything was exact. I guess that's why we have two parents and not one; so we don't look like a copy of one of them or anything." She smiled happily. This was a good way to look at things.

"Oh yes!" She bounces happily, then notes the line of trees that marked the edge of the forest coming into view. "Oh look! We're almost there, Zaree!" She paused, then looks at her. "I hope you don't mind me calling you that, I like nicknames...."

Zaree... Zareen's ears perked up at the nickname. She never had one of those before. She smiled and swished her tail happily. "N-no, I don't mind. I like it in fact... I never had a nickname before. Uhm... Do you have a nickname?"

"Oh yeah, lots! I go by Dancer, Dance, Cloud, Cloudy, C-D, Danny, Clo... All kinds of things, depending on mood! Nicknames are fun, I'm surprised no one else gave you one. Let's see... You could also be Za, Zar, 'Reen, 'Ree..." She pauses, thinking. "And then there's the kind that aren't directly out of your name, like Za-Za, or Re-Re, or maybe Renee?"

"So many... Well, shall I call you by one? Dancer maybe?" That one sounded pretty to Zareen. Short sounding but nice. "Ah, those are nice ones for me as well. Mmm... Especially Renee." The more she thought about that name the more she liked the sound of having nicknames.

Smiling at Zareen, Cloud Dance almost bounced as she trotted. "Sure! I don't mind that one at all! I like nick names!"

Zareen giggled and nodded happily. "Alright! I'll call you one of them at least for sure then...." She glanced around as another question came to mind. "Dancer... Do you live here in a herd or....?"

Dancer smiled a little. "It's just me, my Dad, and our human. No other horses live at our teepee. We visit others, but no big herd."

Zareen smiled. "Ah I see. That's nice. Just being with family is always nice..." Zareen couldn't help but wonder if Dancer had a mother or siblings as well, but she didn't want to ask in case it was a painful subject. Zareen wanted this to be a happy occassion.

Dancer nods, but half shrugs. "I'd love a bigger herd, really! Sometimes it's annoying cause, ya know, Dad's always there, so sometimes privacy is an issue... But it's mostly nice!"
