I need advice on something. I would like only females to respond they might understand better.
I think I might be pregnant again and my boyfriend does not want to have children and our Pastor says we need to be married before we think of children anyway whitch is fine with me. But I just got done throwing up again and it is starting to hurt and I think I might be pregnant but can it be only a few days after have sex with my boyfriend that I get the morning sickness???????// Someone please help me confused cry

I seriously doubt that this is signs of pregnancy. Signs for that usually start when you miss a period and morning sickness doesn't usually happen until the second trimester (I think), but certainly not just a few days afterwords.

Don't focus on the word "sin" when it comes to masturbation. Focus on this. "Is what I'm doing honoring God in any way?" and "Is there something better I could be doing now besides this?"

Rather then masturbating, read God's Word. Pray for friend, family, and enemies. Do something that will strengthen your relationship with God.

Morning sickness doesn't usualy start until the 6th week or so. It can start sooner then that, but it won't occur until the hormons in your body start building up. You shouldn't really feel morning sickness until after a missed period at least. But if in doubt, talk to your doctor and/or try an at home pregnancy test. That will put your mind to ease either way, knowing if you are, or are not pregant much more assuredly.

To restate what many wise people here have already said, masturbation isn't wrong, its the thoughts and usually "materials" redface that go along with it. It has been medically proven that it is healthy for males, but having impure thoughts isn't healthy spiritually. My best advice is to, again restating, pray with him. Also advise him to pray alone and listen for God's reply. More than anything else I think that it depends on his relationship with the Lord.

It is really hard to resist though. I don't mean that in a "OMG, I heart it way 2 much". I mean that if I don'tmasturbate I start to feel very grumpy. It's a form of discharging our sexual desires.
It's a physical instinct to masturbate. It just is. sweatdrop

I personally believe it to be a sin. And it sure is hard to resist. I've been struggling with it for years because I believe it's leading me away from God. I know afterward I feel like crap and that I've failed to withhold my promises to Him. And I just wanted to say that some parts from this topic have helped me with people's views/opinions and all.

Gambol
You guys are starting to sound like, "Well, if you touch the fire, but you don't get burned, then you'll be all right."
I was going to say "thou knowest my sister~". Then I realized that you are my sister.....

By the way, I kind of agree with the Gambol. The act may not be sinful, but the ability to get "burned" by it is high.

That's kind of like alcohol... drinking itself isn't sinful, but getting drunk is. For some people, who lack self-control, it's a good thing to just avoid... Others with more self control can probably drink it.

This type of thing is a conviction, though. Pray about it.

A friend of mine is trying to devote his life to god. He keeps coming to me for support. A couple days ago he asked me if masturbation is a sin. I would have told him except, I personaly dont know. Does any one else know.

please help me help him.

short answer
its all just dogma

dogma is not the word of god
hate to say it like this but
if it feels good...do it
you will know in your heart of hearts

Ah, I've wondered about this subject for many years...

I've come to the conclusion that I cannot point to one verse in Scripture that says masturbation is sinful. However, I also cannot advise anyone to masturbate. It's such an emotionally charged act, it will very easily derive things that aren't godly.

I think this is one of those things that if it feels wrong to you, it is. But there is nothing that says it is wrong in the bible; so if it doesn't feel wrong to you, it isn't.
However, sexual fantasies *are* wrong.
Tell your friend to pray on this himself. Not everthing in Christianity has a yes/no anser.

I think it's the lust involved that's a sin 3nodding
