Now it was Bahari's turn to feel somewhat guilty. Children did not seem like the best of subjects to have brought up to Limbuko. "We apologise. We did not mean to pry." The God of Fish raised a paw and began stroking the large part of his mane that went down his chest like a beard. It appeared as if he was thinking. "We think it would be a shame if you stayed in one place." He grinned, his eyes glinting rather mischieviously. "Unless of course you had arranged to meet Us somewhere, in which case you would have to stay put until We arrived."

Bahari'nswi couldn't bare the idea of losing touch with his newest friend. They would have to figure out some way to contact each other, or figure out a place where they could meet every so often. "We don't make friends easily you know." The God said with a firm shake of his head. "Most tend to fall in love with Us the moment they see Us, but some become confused by the way We talk, or are simply blind to Our greatness. Some are just odd."

-Bahari had no reason to feel guilty however, and Lim shook his head with that pleasant smile, as if trying to push away any such thoughts the fish god might have of 'messing up'. Sometimes unpleasant thoughts were needed, and sometimes they led you to better conclusions and realizations. They didn't necessarily have to be all bad or always sad.

The tease however was met with a wider grin, tail snaking back and forth with great amusement, so thrilled to have apparently charmed the elder god just as much as he'd been charmed by Bahari's regal presence. Lim knew he loved older ladies.. but it seemed older men could be quite fun too!

And as his words shifted Lim DID feel proud to have made friends with the other male. He had alot of friends really, it was part of the domain, but that didn't make the instant bond between the two any less important or special. For Bahari was certainly that, special. Much like when he'd met Imagination, Lim found it hard not to smile in his presence.-

"Some are just so consumed in themselves or other things that they don't set out to make friends, or think they don't have time for it. But there is ALWAYS time for basking in the glow of others." -He agreed, lifting himself to come nearer, sitting close enough that he could almost touch that mountain of mane.-

"Perhaps if I visited rivers or the ocean more often I'd see you around again? I have a pretty good knack for knowing and being drawn when friends call."

Bahari'nswi didn't mind one bit as Limbuko moved closer to him. His tail, which had been flicking steadily from side to side, ended up curling around the back of the purple God. He was very used to others wanting to touch him and be near him, as deep down he was rather affectionate. He breifly thought back to when he met Rokopelli, the Goddess who had found him to be very cuddly indeed. She was such a sweetheart, and one of the very few things that Bahari cared about other than himself and his own Domain.

Now Limbuko was among that very select few. "We met a Goddess named Rokopelli." He smiled softly. "We liked her very much. We are her best friend. We are her friend and We are the best, therefore We are her best friend." The way he said it, it sounded like it made perfect sense. "We could be your best friend too, if you like." It was clear that they were going to be great friends, but perhaps if they were best friends, it would be easier for the pair to find one another.

-Lim was never one to turn down a touch or affection either, and his feathers seemed to rustle in subtle joy as the soft touch of his tail wrapped around him.

Lim could not help laugh as Bahari spoke of his friend however, finding it extremely endearingly cute. It didn't matter if others would argue with the 'logic' the thought was full of pure innocence, something that Lim thought the world needed just a little more of in adults. Eyes dancing as he grinned up to Bahari, he mused pleasantly.- "I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her I'm afraid. I hope I will get to though, if you think so highly of her. Perhaps I can even introduce you to a few of the goddess' I know."

"I would be honored to have you as my best friend." -At the grand offer, Lim nodded and accepted almost immediately, but his mind pondered and lingered over the thought curiously for a long while afterwards. How did one quantify and categorize friendships? For he did like so many. But were all of them best friend material? Some it seemed were better dubbed lovers... and many, though he might call them friends might even consider him just an aquantiance. Could he consider his son or daughter a friend either? It was a strange and confusion circle. Bahari however was no lover, no child of his, and certainly they were far more bonded then mere aquantiances.. so the term seemed true, and he nodded once more, more fully. Whether it was in the terms Bahari spoke it.. or even in the term as he knew it, it did indeed seem appropriate.-

Bahari'nswi tilted his head slightly as Limbuko laughed, unsure what it was that he found so funny. In his head, he had always thought that he was the greatest God their ever was. In fact, he knew that was the case. There was no one more fabulous, there was no one more regal, there was no one more intelligent. It was just the way things were, and he had never been given any valid reason to think otherwise. Sure, there were a few that had told him that he wasn't the greatest, but he had always put that down to the fact that the one who was saying such things was crazy.

"Good." The God said finally, having seemingly become lost in thought for a moment, much like Limbuko himself had. So, he had a new friend, one that was very much like him. He hadn't thought it possible to meet someone as similiar to him as Limbuko was, but he actually felt glad to have been proven wrong. Of course, he would never go so far as to think that Limbuko was more beautiful than him, as the fact that he was almost as beautiful as him in Bahari's eyes was an achievement in itself.

-A deep purr rattling through his mane free throat... basking pleasantly in the warmth of the day. He truely was happy he'd stopped to rest by this river, and truely felt blessed to have met the god beside him.

As the tickle of warmth baked his back however, he soon remembered Bahari's skin, glancing softly at it before his voice lifted softly.- "I should probably head back to work before too long myself.. And you probably shouldn't linger in the sun much longer."

"But I hope the next time we get to meet is sooner rather than later best friend." -His head nodded matter of factly, ponytail bouncing and jostling from shoulder to shoulder.-

So it was time for Limbuko to go. For some reason, Bahari'nswi couldn't help but feel a little sad that it was time for them to part ways. As soon as the sun was mentioned though, he frowned and nodded. The sun was the opposite of his best friend, as it was his worst enemy. "Very well."

Before getting up to leave, Bahari'nswi thought about something he had done before parting ways with Rokopelli. She had really enjoyed it, and because he wasn't the most social of creatures, he now wondered if it would be appropriate for him to do the same thing with Limbuko. Rokopelli had needed cheering up, which was the main reason why he did it. Limbuko didn't though, so rather than just doing it, he decided it would be best to just come out and ask.

"What do you think about hugs?"

-He could sense the bit of displeasure at the thought of his departure, and in a way he felt a bit of it too. For while his feet cried to wander he often found his mind staying with those he'd been with for long after he'd left their presence.

Any thought of sadness or regret was soon forgotten however as his maw spread in a grin wider than any he'd given all day, not that he'd known it was possible.- "I love hugs!" -He piped happily, for it was very true, he loved most kinds of touches.

He went a step further however, stating something he'd until now kept quiet, for he thought it might make the fish god even happier to hear.- "I'd been rather hoping I'd get a chance to feel that glorious mane of yours anyway."

Bahari'nswi grinned. "You could've just asked." The God of Fish was pleased to hear that Limbuko liked hugs, because he liked them too. He shimmied where he was sat so that he was facing the God of Pleasure. He then leaned in slightly and lifted one of his paws, which he then placed on Limbuko's back to bring him in for a hug. He was careful though, as he always was when hugging. It wouldn't do for him to smother someone in his magnificent mane.

Once the hug was complete, Bahari'nswi stood up. He smiled at Limbuko, his newest and most beautiful friend. "We have taken much pleasure from this meeting. We hope to see you again soon." With that, the God turned and dived into the river, with much more grace than one would think a lion of that size would have. His head soon appeared back on the surface, so that he may have one last look at Limbuko, before diving back down and making his way back up the river. He was sure he would see Limbuko again, so he couldn't help but smile as he swam away.

-Engulfed in the mass and fluff of Bahari, Lim could only purr in response, letting his paws touch as far back as they could reach on the larger god. He was just as soft, though his skin was slicker than Lim had imagined. It was a pleasant sensation, and when he pulled away Lim hoped that he'd be able to do it again some day.

Watching Bahari dive into the water, he turned himself, shaking himself with a soft strech as he resettled his fur and feathers, before dissapearing into the savannah once more, mind still lingering on the pleasant little meeting. It was much better than a dream.-
