Inflatable Pirate Completely off topic but how do I get a shiny?! gonk You have like a 1 in 1000000 chance of encountering a shiny pokemon, i actully battled a shiny pidgey when i first started 0.o

Epic Phailurezz Inflatable Pirate Completely off topic but how do I get a shiny?! gonk You have like a 1 in 1000000 chance of encountering a shiny pokemon, i actully battled a shiny pidgey when i first started 0.o incorrect it's a 1/8192 chance Upon entering that same pokemon (hatching or apearing) being a shiny a common belief is that trainer battles aid the egg changes but of that, i have no proof to comfirm or reject it it's no big deal really, but i would ask the next time you give a statistic, look it up before hand...

I've played Red, Gold, Crystal, Ruby, Emerald, Firered/leafgreen, Diamond, Platinum and Pokémon snap 3nodding There's also another method to gaining a shiny - the Masuda method - It increases your odds to 1/2048 instead of 1/8192 when hatching an egg bred with a pokémon from a different region than your own.

I have played yellow (couldn't get past Brock), blue, gold, silver (gold and silver got old and lost their data), stadium 1, stadium 2, hey you pikachu, snap, sapphire, emerald (didn't like it, sold it), blue rescue team, explorers of time (rented, almost finished), tried colluseum, xd, and pbr, and also currently own diamond (first time beating elite four biggrin )

well...i'd never sell any of my games, even if i didnt like it...
emerald's story wasnt too different ecxept you got to fight both aqua and magma and catch rayquaza before the e4 challenge and of course once you had national dex which in that version was handed to you, you could easily vist the b-frontier
but yeah due to g/s/c loss of datas i am eagerly awaiting my heart gold and soul silver versions

I played Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, skip a lot Diamond. Oh I got a Gold or shiny Graveler I caught it on V-road two night ago but then a stupid Onix killed my C-bat and I had to restart at the Pokemon center. I also have a bad habit of nicknaming my Pokemon so much that I forget their "real" names. I also hate buying items even though I should.
I been using Pokemon walk-through off of Youtube since it's cheaper. sweatdrop But yeah after missing out on so many games it's a little hard and I'm probably making bad trades via GTS. I still don't think I will be able to fill my entire pokedex this time around. I'm thinking about getting Platinum later this X-mas. Doesn't seem like too many people still play Diamond or Pearl though.
Though Luckily I have all 3 starter Pokemon. Hee hee GTS does have it's perks.

I'm a Poke'Vet so don't get discouraged by my experience.
I have been around since Poke'mon started with Red version and since the show started so as you can imagine I have seen it all.
Flying, Surfing kangaskauns without cheating mind you.
surfing pikachu.
And the mysterious MissingNo. (hint hint for those who want the above stated kangaskaun (assuming anyone else here is an avid player like i am))
Anyway, I have personally played the following;
Red, Blue, Green (japanese only), Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, LeafGreen, FireRed, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, HG and SS Japanese only for now, Red Rescue team, blue Rescue Team, and of course the trading card game on gbc.
Thats just GB, and DS ones
now for the consoles
Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, Hey you Pikachu, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Colluseum, Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, Pokemon Pinball, Pokemon channel, if you consider them since they involve pokemon, smash bros. and smash bros melee.

and of course I have collected the trading cards, I never played actual card game just the game boy color one.
As you can see I have not seen or played everything but I have played almost everything.
If you would like to see the cards I have collected, trade or battle me via wifi, test my knowlege of pokemon if you doubt me, or want inside info on heart gold and soul silver just PM me.
Mind you I do like to be tested on my knowledge
I find that it keeps me refreshed on whats what in the games.
