I think t.A.T.u. is a great band, and I don't find anything offensive about them. It always urked me when I would overhear someone ask if they have heard of the band, and the other person would say, "You mean the one with the lesbians?" I agree that most people are drawn to them because of the fact that they are lesbians...or bi, or just girls that make out, whatever. Maybe Julia and Lena realized this so they kind of played off the idea more then necessary? When I first got into them, I didn't know there was girl love involved. I just liked the poppy-techno sound they had. Then I saw the video, which gave me the reaction "...Huh, well this makes things interesting." But I'm more fascinated knowing they are from Russia than what their sexuality is. But anyways, if I found anything offensive about them, it would just be how people seem to only recognize them as two cute girls that make out. Can't they just be appreciated for their cool music?

My opion is tatu is a great band. I love there music and to me nothing is offensive about them. But there are always going to be people who hate them just because they are lesbians or they just hate their music. oh well. sure it gets me mad as well when people bad mouth them but its their opion and they have a right to say it even though hate hurts.

The-Vampire-Mikhail tatu! lol i never thought they were offensive, maybe alittle fake, and comercialized. but you know they realy pushed the boundery and helped the gay rights movement in subtle ways you know. They realy found a way to glorify homosexuality! obviously its apparent that some manager found two russian girls who were willing to sing and make out on stage and he capitalized on that and made lots of money but still. it says something when a lesbian couple can make out and what not in public, and on national talevision no less and have it not be that much of a joke! there are some that would dissagree with me but i think they realy helped the gay/lesbian front get a step further! I agree with you on that.
