Ok so, i like the group t.A.T.u who was very popular a few years ago when they cameout with their song "All the Things She Said", now i went to another site and people were badmouthing them because of the sexuality thing. I want to know what you think of them and do you find them offensive to homosexuals?

I personally don't see anything wrong with them as a group. I think the few things I've heard from them were quite good and as whole they were a good group.
What I think is somewhat messed up is what I heard about how they came about. I heard they weren't really lesbians or even bi but to get more people interested in them they went along with the "girl love" thing.
Now remember, that's just what I've heard so I don't want anyone laying into me about it. If I am wrong though I'd love to be corrected so I know the true story. As I said, the music was good and it's a shame we don't really hear from them anymore.

Actually, that thing is a rumor, i'm pretty sure.. i highly doubt that someone would risk embarassing a whole load of people for the attention. It is true that the one with the black hair, Julia, has a kid, but easily gotten a procedure gets them pregnant by sending donated sperm into the uterus... anyways i've heard both things and i think that they are really lesbian, or bi, and i think the media just wants to get something juicy to lure the fans into hatered, its kinda like gossip, most people think that if you deny it, then it must be true, so if tatu are really like i believe they are, then it could just be the media.

surprised I personally think they suck both there music and them personally..
The only reason they are so popular (in my opinion) is the fact that they're lesbians. And the fact that the get nude on stage(oh yes I know that, because my friend went to their concert) : / ... I mean for crying out loud...

You know i heard the same thing, and i also heard that one got pregnant by her boyfriend, not a procedure, but of course, rumors rumors. other than that their music is fine i've just heard one of their newer songs and kinda like it, the only problem is that all their songs repeat over and over and over.

I love the music, and I have the russian cd (Dvesti Po Vstrechnoi) and I love it... I guess thats because my dad's girlfriend is russian, and I want to learn the language... but yeah, I read somewhere online that they were bi or faking the lesbian thing, and they both had boyfriends...

tatu! lol i never thought they were offensive, maybe alittle fake, and comercialized. but you know they realy pushed the boundery and helped the gay rights movement in subtle ways you know. They realy found a way to glorify homosexuality! obviously its apparent that some manager found two russian girls who were willing to sing and make out on stage and he capitalized on that and made lots of money but still. it says something when a lesbian couple can make out and what not in public, and on national talevision no less and have it not be that much of a joke! there are some that would dissagree with me but i think they realy helped the gay/lesbian front get a step further!

i happen to like their music....i could care less about their sexuality and i probably won't see them in concert either....but yeah they are not all that bad

I haven't payed much attention to their music, but anyone responsible for getting 30 girls on stage to strip down to their underwear and dance is alright by me wink
