Venna was knocked clean off her feet and sent flying into a headstone, the water nearly drowning her.
"Come on V!" It wasn't a shout of encouragement, it was one that was a command. She needed to get her game back.
Venna growled angerily at Ayirwen and within moments a bigger, more menacing ball of darkness was flying in her direction.

Ayirwen swam gracefully through the water until it cleared out of the stadium then she turned back towards Venna to see a giant ball of darkness heading her way. When she was this close she knew it was impossible to dodge so she braced herself as the darkness engulfed her and as it faded away she glared angrily at Venna.
"Use Aqua Jet, Ayirwen, teach that vulpix a lesson." Raina said, sure that her dewgong would hear her in the eerie silence that seemed to hover over the stadium.
As the command reached her Ayirwen seemed to smirk at the little fox before a torrent of water came surging out of her mouth aimed straight at Venna.

Venna was definitely tired of all the water, but what else should she expect? This was a water pokemon and she a fire. Fire was weak to water, and she could feel she didn't have much left it her.
Resorting to distanced attacks Venna opened her jaws to unleashed her Fire Blast attack, she only hoped she had enough energry to make it a worthwhile attack.

Ayirwen had been ready to dodge this attack but the flames died away before they even had a chance to hit her. Pathetic, the fox was definately almost done for now. Surging forward Ayirwen swung her tail around, and it was glowing blue with water coming from it, to smack the little fox and send her flying across the arena, at least, that's what she was going for.

And that was exactly what happened. Venna's little frame went flying across the field, crashing into one of the headstones and cracking it down the middle. There wasn't even a breath left inside her, she was spent. "Vull..." Her moan ceased on her lips.
Jenette hurried down to the field scooping her prized Vulpix up in her arms and cooing to her, letting her know she would be alright. With a dissatisfied smile she waved to Raina. "I better hurry to the PokeCenter, I'll see you later. I'm sure Rufio would love to see Branimir." She laughed as she hurried out of the stadium.

Raina watched as Venna was flung across the stadium and winced, that had to have hurt. As Jenette hurried to Venna's side Raina recalled Ayirwen to her greatball. "Good job, you did excellent." she said as she clipped the ball back onto her belt.
"Ok, I hope she's alright. I'll probably run into you at the pokecenter later." Raina said as she waved goodbye to her friend before turning and exiting the stadium at a much more comfortable pace than Jenette had. She would definately need to visit the pokecenter but, first it was time to pick up some treats.
