"Oh rapture, I'm being hit on by a crater," Angela said. "This is a dream come true." She looked over at Ky. "I assumed it was an immortal something or other that lived too long and went a bit barmy. Is that not correct?"
"It wouldn't be the first time I ran across something like that," Des said, shuddering. He looked into the darkness of the crater. "You seem to know an awful lot though. For instance about those Powers--the grey twelve or whatever they call themselves. Care to tells us more about them to ease your apparent boredom?"

Toshi shook his head. "Not particularly, no. It was more boring being able to see," he told it. "Everything then was rather dull and muted."
It took a moment for him to realize he was talking to something, or someone, he didn't know about being blind. He thought it rather odd. That, and the comments he was making towards Angela and the others were even stranger. Yet, the questions it was asking him seemed. . . normal. In a way.

"Zensekai thinks so." Ky told her, "I really don't know, but I can't think of anything else if might be."
"They're morons who want to balance everything into mush in your world and balance all the worlds. As if it wasn't boring enough already, they want to make it more boring by killing anyone with a mind for fun like Zensekai.
Yes I know an awful lot, just like how you're going to be stuck with sexy there for an eternity. Lucky dog."
"Do you know, whatever you are, who I am descended from?" Asaiyo slipped in, feeling better about angela's arguing with it.
"Yes. You're Zen's little nephew, but I won't ruin the surprise you'll get later." It chuckled, not warmly.

"Seeing is over rated, pretty much everything is. Though, it is fun to watch sometimes, the foolishness of others... Boredom, unattachment and blindness, the qualities needed to see absolute truth.." The Voice told him, in a riddle like way.

"I guess once an Immortal descends into madness to the point they become a talking crater, they also lose the ability to have a coherent conversation," Angela muttered. If he was trying to say she and Des were going to be spending any amount of time together, he was just flat insane.
"I definitely agree with the part about the twelve being morons though," she said.
"Same here," Des agreed.
"What happened to the one I fought?" Angela asked. "I assume he didn't die."
"You fought him!?" Des asked, hearing this for the first time.
"Uh...yeah."

"Quite frankly, I do not see boredom as an asset," he pointed out to the voice. "It is merely a state of being, and a rather dull one at that. If I were to do as you said, then I will most likely turn into you. I rather like the way I am."

"He skadiddled back to his hut I'd bet. But why don't you talk to me about the reason why you came? You want Zenny better?
I bet you're practically plotting to have kids with him as it is you hottie, then you'd tell your boyfriend it was his once you figure out you're really immortal as well. I'll reserve you a spot for your own crater if you like?
The last thing we need is Zensekai reproducing, but I'd rather you get him living again.
I'm the only one who'll get to kill him!
And I'll do it the day he comes and begs me too before he makes himself a nice crater of his own."

Angela felt cold shock run through her body. "I--I'm not..." she stammered. "I'm not immortal," she protested. "I'm half human! How can I be a bloody immortal?"
Des flinched as her voice rose slightly. Normally she wouldn't be--a mere half Celestial might be very long lived but not immortal. But if she was half Solar, as Des was beginning to believe she was, that was something entirely different. Clearly this thing knew that as well.
Angela took a step forward but Des grabbed her. "Just what is it you think you're going to do?" he asked in a low voice though he knew it could hear him anyway. "Fight him? Even assuming there's anything corporeal in there to fight, maybe you haven't noticed yet but your powers are asleep right now. There's not much you can do."
"Sh-shut up!" she told him, yanking her arm out of his grasp.
"He's only trying to upset you to assuage his own boredom," Des said. "Don't entertain him further."
"Am I?" she asked. "Is he right about me?"
Des shook his head. "Not now."
She opened her mouth again.
"Not now Angela," he said.
She ground her teeth together long enough her jaw started to ache and then she finally spoke again. "Atra--that's what Zen calls you right? All the blathering on about children and boyfriends and other complete and total idiocy aside, do you know how we can heal him?"

A laugh erupted from the voice at Des's remark about fighting him.
"Of course I'm right! And of course I know how you can save your everlasting love--Zenny benny. Hell I could save him---- if I felt like it, It's not like I haven't before.
But I don't think I will this time, since he doesn't want to be saved and all.
But the real question is 'will I tell you?' I haven't decided yet.
Being me is rather boring blindboy, but it has it's quarks, like collecting dust bunnies. I can't tell you how great a collection I have going. Plus I can watch you all come sucking up to me every few centuries or so."

Toshi stood there. All this was getting to be too much to take in. Apparently Angela was an immortal, though he couldn't see how either, Zen apparently didn't want to be saved, and something about Angela having a relationship with Zen. Although, he'd never heard the two do anything except talk to each other, and even then it didn't seem to indicate anything to him.
However, he didn't very much appreciate whomever this was calling him 'blindboy', so he refused to say anything back to him.

"If you won't help us save Zen," Angela said, lifting an eyebrow, "then we'll find someone who will. I don't give a damn if he wants to be saved or not. I'm not letting him die. You can stay in your crater being bored out of your skull for the rest of eternity for all I care."
"Angela--" Des said.
"We don't need his help," she told him. "Toshi knows that Akutenshi person and you're the one who said you know where to start looking for my father. We'll go find him and get him to help. I don't want to rely on a...person like this anyway. He likes to get a rise out of people but no matter what he says, all I hear from him when he opens his mouth is envy. So let him stay here alone. I don't care."
Des sighed and smiled slightly. "Very well. There's just one more thing I want to know from him." He looked toward the crater. "Do you happen to know where the rest of our group is?"
((Chee mentioned she wanted to join this side story. I thought of a way to bring her in Zen...I just need to see if you like it...))

Some of em are floating around in Kall right now, Ky did a bad job transporting you all into this universe, why do you think Zensekai gave her all his power?
And once you save poor Zenny, what do you plan to do with him? All he'd be good for is having kids if that's your plan. Looks like you're going to have to find your daddy baby and that Ak--somebody... whatever you said his name was..." The Voice wasn't done with them yet.
"Ugh, he never shuts up." Ky grumbled to herself.
Asaiyo wished he had a piece of ice to throw at the crater.
