 Where she'd managed to dodge the first Gull, the sudden barrage of birds took her down like a limping streaker at a soccer game. Pulling herself out of the ballpit and scrambling back to try again, Annabel sighed. Go quickly, stay low, and MAYBE she wouldn't get owned in the face, as her gamer friends would put it. Charging the log, she gave it another go. Second time, hoo-hah!

Well. Now she was supposed to get dirty. Rosalina arched an eyebrow in slight horror as she stared at the obstacle course.
She should have expected something like this, anyway. This was camp after all, Rosalina thought, and sighed before she crouched down on the ground, hoping that this obstacle course wouldn't ruin her clothes too much. Grimacing, she squelched through the mud at a slow and steady pace.

 whatever bit of confidence ozzie gained from the cliff challenge evaporated when he came face to face with the snapping jaws of the previous competition. "criiiiiiiiiipes" he muttered under his breath. he edged over to the rope and grabbed ahold, wrapping it once around his paw to help him avoid losing grip. he took another deep breath, gulped, squeezed his eyes shut, then pushed off. a moment later he felt his toes hit ground. he quickly whipped his eyes open, and saw more ground in front of him. realizing he cleared the gators, he unwrapped his paw and let go of the rope, rolling as he hit the dirt. he let a small nervous laugh out as he moved forward towards the final challenge.

After she had finished the first obstacle, Rosalina stood up, checking her clothes for any tears. It was simply muddy and it would take a while to get those stains out, but oh well. Eventually it would be clean again.
Giving the cliff a menacing glare, the Audio reached out a paw to grip a rock that was jutting out, pulling herself up for the climb.

It was lucky, Rosalina thought, that she didn't fall on the way up on the cliff. There had been times she had thought the rocks she was gripping were going to fall, but perhaps, that was her scaring herself.
Dammit, she needed to scare someone else instead.
She barely gave the gators a glance and grabbed the rope, swinging across.

Holy s**t, they were shooting seagulls out of a cannon. This camp had taken on a whole new level of ******** Up. On a good note, it--okay it wasn't a good thing it reminded her of chocobo racing in FFX. She hated chocobo racing in FFX. Goddamn seagulls. Growling to herself about 'stupid seagulls' she darted across the log.

Sadly, Rosalina wasn't as lucky with the balance. Wobbling dangerously on the log, the Audio fell as a seagull hit her smack in the face and landed amongst colorful balls. She bit back a curse bubbling up behind her lips, tails flicking in annoyance.
It was after a while that she got up and went to try again.

shaking from his brush with the gators, ozzie timidly stepped his paws out on the log. he made it a few feet across, then halted when he anticipated a seagull shooting past. unfortunately, he hesitated a bit too soon, and got clocked with a seagull straight in his snout. he tumbled backwards, holding his nose with both paws. "ooooooow!"

She fell.
Again.
Rosalina lay there for a while, wondering if she could go up to the guy who had been shooting seagulls to knock her off and give him a hard smack in the face. Or something to that extent. Whatever was going through her mind right now wasn't at all pretty.

All said and done, that hadn't been so bad! Drawing a deep breath, Annabel grinned as she overlooked the obstacle course- now overrun with other campers. Thankfully, she'd gotten in and out pretty easily. So, now she had the rest of the day off! She could breathe easy, relax...
...Or not. Some onset camp madness taking over her brain, Annabel headed back to the start of the course with a loud whoop, insanity driving her. Why not? They could go multiple times, and it'd probably take Simon and Ratch a bit to finish it up, anyway. Might as well give it another go!

This time, Rosalina was unmercifully whacked in the stomach by a seagull and she had to fight with herself to keep an angry growl off her face. Thank goodness they were merciful enough to give them a soft landing, but it didn't help to alleviate her annoyance much. She merely lay there, a bit winded, and took a few deep breaths before she went to attempt that stupid log crossing thing again.
Why couldn't they just crawl through that damn thing anyway?

Just as easy on the wire crawl as it'd been the first time! Slipping through that particular challenge with ease, Annabel took a moment to shoot a grin in Chef Hatchet's direction- he might've been waiting to kill her in the sidelines, yes, but the man had to give her SOME props for completing the course so easily. Especially on such an obvious lack of sleep! Tail wagging in some sick sense of joy as she rushed for the cliff, Annabel once more pushed up her sleeves, tackling the wall for attempt number two.

woozily, ozzie got back up on the balance log. still holding his aching nose with one paw, he tried the new strategy of holding onto the log with his other paw and scooting over on his rear end. at the very least, it would be more room overhead to let seagulls fly past; if they did come flying at him low, he would at least have the log to hold onto. after several moments he was able to scoot all the way across to the other side and to safety.

Rosalina dodged the seagulls this time with much success, finally crossing the log. Resisting the urge to turn back and stick her tongue out at the shooter (that was just too childish!), she merely padded forward without a backwards glance. A relieved smile broke out on her maw and she collapsed down on the ground to take a small rest before...she tried it again.
Immunity sounded pretty tempting.

Rosalina almost didn't believe that she was going to try it again.
Why not? Her mind asked. Immunity could come in handy after all, seeing how the Sharks were constantly at the campfire.
This time, Rosalina didn't even care as she crawled through the muddy ground. Her dress was already dirty, so getting it dirtier well...wasn't a problem anymore. She was careful not to let it get caught in the barbed wire, though.
