Edes nodded, holding onto Kyler's hands, rather than his tentawings. He actually never really touched Kyler's hands before, opting to entertain the tentawings so that Kyler could talk more freely as they were distracted.
"Okies.. I try be quiet. Cody will neever find us~!" He giggled, trying to make himself smaller by pulling his wings close to his chest. "Oh.. Kyler.. You ever name tentawingies yet..?"

Ugh, this was just great. Here he was, in the middle of Édes' yard playing a game of hide-and-seek while blindfolded. Cody figured he had to look extremely stupid wandering around not knowing where he was going or the layout of the yard too terribly well. He wouldn't have minded much if it was only Édes around, not his best friend and Kyler, a toddler he knew very little about except that he was... rather jealous of him.
As his thoughts raged about, he didn't exactly realize he was moving in a circle and tripped over part of the swing-set that he had stumbled over earlier. He had to bite his tongue to keep himself from saying something rather mean or show some sort of anger. Slowly and rather unsteadily, he got to his feet and perked his ears up.
Faintly, Cody thought he heard soft giggles coming from some direction. Probably to his left but he couldn't really tell. Ah, well, it wouldn't hurt to at least TRY heading that direction. And so, the child turned and heading to the left and where he thought the giggles to have come from.

"No... I haven't! What do you have in mind?" Kyler listened closely, and nudged Edes carefully. "Where is he?"

Looking around after being asked where Cody was, Édes quickly pressed a finger against Kyler's lips.
"Shuush! He's right there.." He whispered into Kyler's ear, hugging him. Cody seemed to be heading straight for them, but veered off to the left a little, and they were safe for now.
He pulled away from Kyler a bit and took the tentawings in his hands, watching with amusement as they wrapped around his wrist and slowly traveled up his arms. "Well... Um.. There was dis one show that said the moon and ooshion was Twi and.. Um.. La. So.. Why not... One be da moon, Twi, and de odder be La, the ocean?" He yawned a bit, not liking the game anymore.. It was far too quiet, and for Édes, quiet equaled nap time, and he didn't want to nap when he had friends over...

Cody blinked beneath the blindfold. There it was again, whispered talking and a soft yawn over to his right a bit. "Can I just get close t' you guys or do I have t' tag you?" the child asked as his feet slowly started making their way over to where he thought the two to be. All the while, he wondered when they would give up the game and choose another. Or at least let him hide...

Kyler hushed up, and his newly named Tentawing, Tui, moved over Edes' mouth to make him quiet.

Édes whined when the tentawing touched his lips, and gently pushed Kyler away, speaking softly. "I dun wanna pway dis game anymore.. It make me sweepy.."
He stood, taking Kyler's hand and helping him up, before dashing over to Cody, hugging him. "No wanna pway no more.. Make Édes sweepy!" He squeaked, untying the blindfold from his eyes. "How 'bout snack time? Food always give Édes emmergy." He smiled, going back over to Kyler and holding his hand, guiding him inside. He figured, his house, he gets to decide what to do, but if there were any objections, he'd be sure to make notice.

Sunlight blinded the child for a moment as the blindfold was removed. Although, he was wishing Édes was hugging him. Édes was such a cuddly little kid, or was every small child like that? Outside of randomly hugging small children, he hadn't a clue on figuring that out. Besides, randomly hugging kids might get him into some deep trouble.
"Snacks? What kind?" Cody questioned, following the toddlers back into the house, rather envious that the two were constantly roaming around hand in hand. 'He's blind, he needs some sort of guidance I guess...' he thought, but was still rather jealous of Kyler and how much attention his friend was giving him.

Kyler turned around, "Can Cody hold my other hand, please?" Tui and La seemed to look back at the older kid. "I think I may need more support..."

Édes nodded, smiling and taking Cody's hand in his own, before putting it on Kyler's. "We fwiends. We halp eachother." He nodded, taking Kyler's other hand and lacing his fingers with it.
"Snacky time, kay?"

Cody thought about jerking his hand out of Kyler's, but he really didn't want to upset Édes by being so harsh with a toddler he had just met. And so, he reluctantly took Kyler's hand while nodding towards his friend. "Sure, snack time," he muttered, not really understanding why Kyler would want HIS support. He seemed to get around fine on his own and without his or Édes help... Yet the patience side of him refused to let him do anything rash or greed-like that might upset either toddler.

Kyler's tentawings gently took a hold of each of the spawns hands. Just to support Kyler even more. Because if Kyler falls backwards, then they both get hurt.

Edes opened the door to the back of the house and led them all inside. "Daddy? We hungy!!" He exclaimed, his voice still soft and sleepy sounding.
He gently led Kyler to a chair and sat him in it, pushing the chair in, before toddling to the chair next to him. He smiled at Cody, his ears wiggling a bit in glee.

Cody nearly breathed a sigh of relief as Kyler released his hand as he sat down in a chair. The toddler wasn't bad, but he was stealing his Édes away and that was totally unacceptable in his book.
The child quickly made his way over to the chair on the other side of Édes, not wanting to be next to Kyler and because it seemed to be the closest chair available. As he glanced at Édes, he couldn't help, but giggle as his ears wiggled. It was a talent he didn't possess and one he found rather cute and funny oddly enough.
