As someone who's leveled all three (*points to sig*), I have the most fun healing with a Priest, if that is indeed what you intend to do once you hit 80. However, they are the least fun to level. Priests are versatile enough to be raid healers with holy or tank healers with discipline. Shamans are fun to level (as elemental) but it's tough to get into a healing mode after you hit 80, more so than from shadow to holy on a priest. Paladins almost have to be leveled as Ret or you'll die to just about everything, and that"s a BIG transition from Ret to holy. However, I'd have to say that pallies are the easiest to heal with, though you are generally stuck on single target healing.
All in all, i definitely have to suggest priest.

I heal with both priests and shammys, but I have to say that the one I have the most fun with is shaman. They can take better damage (though no where near as much as pallies) and they've got the totem buffs and Bloodlust tends to really help out when needed. 3nodding

Well, I made a Human priest AND a Shaman! Got the priest to 19, just started the Shaman a bit ago. To answer the question, yes, I want to to raid heals for endgame. I've always been ranged dps, and my fiancee wants me to be a heal class. No, I didn't join because of Hobbs! xp My fiancee's roommate owns a top guild on Stormreaver, so my fiancee x-ferred his toon tonight so he can start raiding with his rogue. My main, a 66 Lock from Emerald Dream will probably end up getting x-ferred too. To answer the question that may come, why is my main only 66? Two reasons, 1.) Haven't been playing too too long and the biggie 2.) My fiancee only bought 1 copy of Wrath! 3nodding
Thanks for all of the opinions and whatnot, I enjoyed reading them all!
Shall we discuss the pros and cons of say, mana pool raid heals vs mp3/5 heals? biggrin

/agreed I do love me some Pally. I have a Prot Pally on Emerald Dream, and I still give great heals lol. I'm having really fun with the Shammy though. If anybody wants to look me up Mniteshamy on Stormreaver =)

paalys have a spell that restores the amount eqeull to the paladin's health. and shamans aren't really the best healers.sorry if you like that class.

Shammies are great dps and even better for pve and pallies are also good but they can't rez like shammies can, and though their healing is good it is selective, not AoE based.

i have to go as with Shammy. I havent lvled up a pally or priest past 50, but i get the basics of healing with them. And i just like healing as a shammy a lil more. And having enhance as my shammys 2nd spec makes it way easy to quest and just about always top dps in partys. I like healing altogher and i would heal as any of them but shammys are just alot of fun for me.
