My mom had showed me one of their songs on the radio, and when my sister and I were looking on OnDemand for good music videos, we found that song and it was Bat Country. Honestly, that song isn't one of my favorites since I have discovered their older stuff, but it did get me hooked. The way everyone played and sang, it was just epic and amazing and perfect. I've been a fan for about 5 years now, and that will never change. heart

Back in 2005, I heard "Beast and the Harlot" and really liked it. But I was in fifth grade or so, so I didn't understand it. sweatdrop
Now I'm in tenth grade. When I was in ninth last year, my friend asked me if I liked a band called Avenged Sevenfold. I didn't know who they were.
So I looked 'em up and really liked their music.

JackiexVengeance Was it their looks, they way Zacky and Syn play the guitar. Their amazing songs, and how the videos always seem to be fantastic? well for me when i first heard them, i was kind of in shock like "Oh my Jesus, how come i haven't already been listening to them" and then i heard Zacky and Syn just play Guitar and i was like "Whoa buddy, okay favorite band, hands down" and every song i have ever heard by A7X i liked, they don't have on bad song, which is really hard for a band to pull off. i was like "Thank you God, for actually creating something that i like, i thank you" and They're all really good looking.-like sinfully good looking But what got you drawn to Avenged Sevenfold? The 1st time I heard them I was listening to a Metal Music channel when Remenissions came on and I thought it was such an Epic song, like all their songs their so unique and I've never heard anything like them. Everything about them is badass. Their gimmick i guess you could call it and sense of style is a lifestyle all on its own and its different than the typical goth/punk (whatever) look. Their like their own Genre. They remind me of me and what I would love, like their idea's 4 their music video's. I think thats why I like them so much is because idk their awesome taste i guess you could call it. Oh! and their sick a** guitar solo's what made me love them 2.

Well....it's kind of embarrassing a little bit, but..the way this all started was probably sometime in the summer or a little later. I rp online through AOL IMs, and someone IMed me to get something going. Well, she happened to use Synyster Gates' picture for her character, and that's just when it all started. I thought he was pretty damn hot, I won't lie..and then fast forward a bit to October about, that's when I really started noticing their songs where I work. Then in November when I went to get a friend from out of town with my mom, we went to a mall that an old coworker of mine works at now, and I bought an awesome A7x shirt there. Then when my coworker and I were talking, it was about them for a little bit. She was saying how the singer's voice is something you'd love to hate, and then I was like I know! And then she said something about her cousin and bf really liking one of the guitarists, then I said "Synyster Gates?" Then she was all "Yeah!" and then I said "Oh my god he is so hot!" And she was like "I know!" And then...we both kind of fangirled and squealed in the middle of Spencer's. I NEVER fangirl over anything..but that was pretty fun. Anyway, I like the music...and ventured online eventually to listen to some stuff and..it just was a hit since. I am soooo glad I got one of their CD's for Xmas from a couple friends (City of Evil)..I love that CD!

I remember my friend Jordan and I listening to her Ipod and Blinded in Chains came on and suddenly, its like the heavens opened up and I discovered a new world... a world of dueling guitars and machine gun double bass pedals.

first heard em when i was 14, saw Beast And The Harlot music video on MTV while flippin through the channels, i loved it! from there on i got more and more into em and in a years time they were on my top 5 currently #2 favoite. R.I.P. Jimmy

I had 'Unholy Confessions' on my i-pod and really liked the song. so I looked them up and got hooked. That happened about the beggining of this school year. biggrin heart rofl

I started listening to them heavily once City Of Evil came out. I borrowed the CD from a friend and I had been hooked on them ever since.

Back in '07 I saw the Afterlife music video and got hooked. I kept watching their other music videos and listened to their other songs on Youtube. Been my favorite band ever since.

I was hanging out at my buddie Tyler's house one day and he was playing Beast and the Harlot and I'm like "Oh my god, who are they?" and he old me and I've loved them ever since. It was back in '05 so I would have been 8. And the sinfully good looks didnt do any harm either =]

WOW but lets see my story for falling madly in love with A7X, it was summer and i was flipping through the channels on my TV When i see M Shadow on there, i flipped it back and see that the song was Beast and the Harlot. i didn't get the name of it the first time, but the next day it came on again and i saw it from the beginning this time and i was like "whoa these guys are so freakin hot and they are amazing with their music" Then i looked them up and i learned everything about them. This was when i was in 6th grade barely finding myself and stuff I'm a senior now, considered a freak of all freaks and i still freaking love the hell out of them

One of my friends was like "Hey I found this band you're going to love." Then she showed me the video to Beast and the Harlot and Bat Country, and I was hooked. I couldn't believe I wasn't already listening to them; everthing about them rocked. I still to this day thank her for showing me my favorite band.
