Though if you are really serious about breeding I'd advise you to set up a special breeding tank, since breeding egglayers in a community tank really is hell. Not many survive then, and transferring eggs is also pretty hard.

yeh ive noticed its difficult but i am just seeing what happens nothing serious, if i see a baby i remove them and put them in a separate tank that ive made into a nursery so so far Im doing really good
now i have two pregant barbs so am just waiting for them to lay their eggs
