 Kanji followed after Soji watching him get blasted as he crushed his persona card and spoke " Maziodyne!!!" he said as a massive amount of electricity and then teddies ice attack slammed into the turrets as they crumbled, although a few of the turrets had managed to fire some rounds off Kanji quickly ran forward taking them to his body as his momentum stopped and he slid backwards a little before he then continued to dart forward after Soji, some very immense bruises forming as perhaps a crack or two could have been heard from his rib area as he darted forward, he wouldn't have allowed for naoto or teddie to take the blasts, thusly there was no other choice than to just take the massive shots...

The turrests from behind fired upwards into the sky, the volley attack then went down hitting the area where soji, Kanji, Naoto, adn teddie were in randomly. They continued to fire Even though they were getting wiped out by the crew. "Hehehe, how noble of you." he said towards Kanji who protected Naot and teddie from the previous attacks. "It won't matter, your bravery, your friendship, it will all in soon. There is no point in you protecting them. If they are as strong as the others let them protect themselves, I am sure their not as worthless as them." he said as he heard the screams of the skinned bodies. "Hehehe, Music to my ears." with that the voice grew silent once again, as the seemingly endless assualt of the turrets contiued. They weren't very far from the door. Only a matter of time before the team could reach it, question is. If they could reach Kazuma in time.

Things were getting dicier the further they made it through the dungeon, and this level was no exception. Escaping the pincer attack of the turrets had been only a momentary reprieve from their onslaught, which continued with a hailstorm of shots that rained down from the sky. Thinking fast, Soji reached into his pocket and tossed an item to each of the other team members that resembled something of a small mirror. "Use the Attack Mirrors!" he told his friends suddenly, holding the item towards the bombardment and returning the many shells back to the turrets that fired them. Each single shell wouldn't do much damage to the tank-like shadows, but when you compiled the damage one would cause with the others, it was a devastating counter that would at the very least, put the shadows on the defensive long enough for them to reach the door to the 3rd Floor. And moments after the bombardment was rejected, his eyes fell on the exit, showing him which way he would have to go to escape this particular sea of blood, carnage, and heaps of smoldering metal intent on blasting he and his friends to bits. In the back of his mind he was thanking the Godsend that were the treasure chests back in Magatsu Inaba, which had given him quite a few of the Attack Mirrors during their journey that he had been able to conserve until now. They had certainly done their job...
"The door's just ahead...Kanji, get the other three to the door. I'll stall these shadows," he told the bleached-haired delinquent sternly, before pulling out his card and crushing it in his palm. Overhead, the face of 'The World' watched the shadows, obscured beneath its metal mask, and the silverette commanded it like an extension of his own body. "Izanagi-no-Okami! Megidolaon!" the Senior cried, letting a massive wave of non-elemental energy crash into the swarm of turrets motoring towards them slowly, pushing them back just enough to keep them at bay. Then, sensing his opportunity, he turned and made haste towards the trio that preceded him. He hadn't used Kanji and Teddie's destructive combination again that time in order to conserve their magic...after all, theirs didn't restore the way that his did after victorious battles, and if they could clear another floor without wasting a replenishing item, it would be for the best. They didn't have the fox with them this time to use a leaf, after all. "Open the door and stand to the side!" he called ahead to the trio, wanting them to be out of the line of fire in the event of another ambush. He would deal with any shadows waiting just beyond the gate this time, and then they could move on to the last stage of the trial before the grand finale...

Kanji darted forward as he raised the mirror and protected himself and his friends as he urged them ahead of him and darted for the exit as he pushed the door open and calmly leaned back a little bit and then awaited Soji to arrive...

There was a yet another clapping noise throught the room, across from the room was a large door with a golden cross on it, that door would lead to the last section. "You did well, you are indeed an interesting bunch of humans." he said but it sounded like he was getting upset. "The final task, answer me these three questions." he said before the skinned bodies were having shadows coming out of them. Their mouths were opening up at a unnatural length spewing out, Maya, Turret, Wheel, and Knight type shadows. They continued to go oput of the mouths of the fatigued bodies. The bodies were shouting, "Make it stop, Oh god not again." "Help, help help garg..." They were gagging beyond imaginable it was honestly amazing that they were still alive. There were legions of shadows blacking the path to the door way. What was worse was that they were covvered slightly in vomiit, but with the large number of them the smell of that vomit was unbearable. "While answering, survive them. First questio, I know why you're here. Its obvious, but why rescue this piece of flesh who doesn't even have any rights to exist?" he asked referring to the Piece of flesh as Kazuma. Once the questionw as asked the leguions of shadows began to charge and attack.

Coming through into the final section before the finale, Soji and the crew were faced with their most daunting set of enemies yet. The reek of fresh and stale vomit and carved-up corpses filled the air, and it was enough to make even the least squeamish of men instinctively reach a hand towards their nose. The Senior swallowed his last lungful of what was comparatively pure air and then held his breath a little, listening to Kazuma's shadow talk as he grew more accustomed to the stench. His clouded eyes watched the horde of shadows that looked ready to bear down on them at any moment, and he spoke to his team without blinking...without once looking away from the challenge in front of him. "Teddie, the Wheels' manes are fire-element, which means that they are weak to ice," he deduced from the appearance of the monsters, "I'll leave those to you. And Kanji, don't hold back...use your Maziodyne spell to incapacitate the Turrets. Naoto, the Knights are all yours. I've had you conserve your magic until now just for this...so don't hold back. Mind Charge, Megidolaon...Mind Charge, Megidolaon. That's all you need to do." As for the Maya, Soji would be able to keep them at-bay physically, while using Izanagi-no-Okami on any of the horde that made it past the others' spells. He'd become a wall for them...his body, a shield. And then with his blade, he would shut the mouth of the talkative shadow that felt it could talk about who had the right to live and die like it was some sort of God.
"Every human being has the right to exist," the Leader of the group answered the shadow's question firmly, no hesitation in his voice. The horde took off and approached them and he lunged forward with his weapon, carving away the masks of a few Maya before dodging a blow from one of the gloops, raking his sword through its mask in mid-dodge. A weak spell caught his arm and he felt the burn, but it wasn't enough to incapacitate it just yet. There was still much work to be done before he could feel the pain, anyway. "However they choose to live, no one is born who doesn't have that right," the silverette asserted again, drawing forth his Persona to launch a wave of Megidolaon at the oncoming shadows, keeping those that the others' missed at bay while he eliminated no small number of the countless Maya, "and we protect that right, even if the person we're protecting doesn't think it's worth it."

Kazuma's shadow laughed crudely at Soji's answer, The turrets stayed in the back using the same tatics as before. They fired upwards in which the volley of attacks fell downwards on the investigative team. The Maya types began to attack randomly from behind, going for kanji, teddie, and naoto, they mainly attacked Kanji and clinged to him painfully in order to slow him down. The knights came in with their lances thrusted forward rushing down towards tehir enemies ready to pierce through their hearts. "Next question for you." he said before he was interrupted. "Get off of me." said another voice sounding more like the real Kazuma, but soon he dimmed down. "Now where were we? Ah yes the next question. You say humans have a right to exist. Would you still say that even though, there are humans that would proceed to judge others crudely, people who would never understand one another. That will never learn to walk in another persons shoes? Tell me, why do you proceed to protect such meangless filth?"

Even as the shadow continued to mock them, Soji felt like they were getting closer...the harder that the enemies attacked them, the more desperate their enemies were becoming. It was simple logic, and it spurned them on. He felt the force of a Vicious Strike smack into him from a couple of the Maya and it pushed him back a bit, but gave him the wherewithal to take note of the Maya that were closing in behind them. The Leader ignored the burn in his chest, the burn on his arm, and glanced behind him, seeing that Kanji was being pinned down by a large number of the small gloops. The knights charged him but he was more concerned with the bleached-haired delinquent, who wouldn't be able to react quickly enough to take out the turrets if he wasn't free from the shadows. Making a split-second decision, he decided to have faith in Naoto to finish the new wave of Knights as he had ordered, and focused on freeing Kanji and reducing the attacking numbers behind them. Crushing his card in his hand, he only had a moment to shout out his order to the strong Junior, before the intimidating form of Izanagi-no-Okami appeared above him and released a wicked gust of wind.
"Kanji! Grit your teeth!" he demanded sternly, and it was just in time for the young man to be able to do so before his own Garudyne attack smashed into him, likely knocking the wind out of Kanji, but freeing him of the shadows that pinned his body. Reaching into his pocket, he wrapped gripped tightly a Precious Egg and then tossed it at him, hoping that he had recovered enough to catch it. "Eat that!" he ordered Kanji, knowing that it would keep his health strong enough to keep going...and that was all that they needed for now. He panted a little after that, feeling his magic beginning to drift away from him. He had replenished it coming onto the new floor, but it was obvious that he wasn't going to be feeling too fresh before long...there were too many enemies here to take without that kind of effort. Teddie was barely managing to keep the Wheels at bay, Naoto had her hands fully with the Knights in spite of her onslaught of magic, and Kanji had just taken a critical blow to keep him in the fight and get back at the Turrets. It was a gauntlet of powerful enemies, one after the other, and it was taking everything they had...would take everything they had...but this was where their spirits had never, and would never fail them. Another Megidolaon spell crushed into the swarm of Maya that closed in behind them, but there were more coming in the distance. The silver-haired man heard the question that the shadow asked second and swung around to face him again, his sword catching a lunging shadow by complete accident and whipping the Maya aside. Another swipe felled two of the Maya, and it afforded him just enough time to talk.
"What a person does...with that right they have to live...can only be decided by that person," he answered unflinchingly, driving his weapon forward and straight through the mask of an oncoming Maya, "not every person...is like you say. And those that are...always have the chance for...redemption!" Feeling his determination grow more and more, even as his energy began to deplete, the Senior let out a vicious growl as he batted aside a Maya with the palm of his hand and then pinned it to the ground with his sword. A second later a knight made it past Naoto and the Senior parried its lance, but suffered a gash on his off-hand. Feeling the blood flow down his arm, he grit his teeth thrust his elbow into the chest of the 'horse', pushing it away just enough to jam his sword up into the 'horse's' neck and finish it off. As it dissolved, he caught sight of the golden cross behind which the shadow and the kidnapped student were and his gaze didn't waver. The determination of this team wouldn't be broken...a silent promise to Kazuma, who was trapped and waiting. "We'll proceed until the end...because everybody deserves...that second chance!"

 Naoto Shirogane, The Detective Prince Not a smile, nor any other expression was seen on Naoto's face as she was fighting the knights. "Come, Sukuna-Hikona!" she shouted as she shot her persona card with her pistol. Immediately after, a bright light surrounded her as she used mind charge. She took out another persona card from her pocket when a knight approached her from behind and gave a surprise attack, she landed on the floor with a thud, and bounced back up on her feet as quickly as she could with pistol in hand. The same knight attempted to do a counter attack when she stood back up, but she was too swift for it and dodged to the side. She summoned her persona again, but this time, to eliminate and destroy the knights "Sukuna-Hikona, Megidolaon!" and the surrounding knights were engulfed within the massive wave. There were still more knights approaching, but she wasn't at all ready to give up now.

Kanji watched as Soji attacked him and pressed his teeth together feeling the monsters being knocked from him he snatched the egg and ate it quickly, as he rose to his feet he noticed Naoto getting knocked around, his anger had begun to boil, this shadow was pissing him off enough as is, but he had just struck a blow against Naoto... a bad move on his part, taking out his card as his hand shook a little he spoke " Maziodyne!!!!" he shouted as he blasted a huge electricity attack at the shadow turrets, he noticed another knight running towards Naoto as he crushed his card yet again and watched as his monstrous persona arrived and swung it's massive around, connecting with the knight as he smashed it to the ground, he continued to fight, having defeated most of the turrets he crushed his card again calling out " Maziodyne!!!!" he said as he finished the last of them and used his persona to continue to protect Naoto and Teddie as it swung furiously smashing the knights into the ground as his anger continued to rise, having watched Naoto get hurt his persona slammed through the wave that was coming at her, knocking them to the ground as Kanji ran to her side he spoke " Ya got everything under control Naoto?" he asked casually as he panted, he was relatively healed from that egg he took, however some good sized bruises on his face were apparent, along with something on his ribs as his left arm was holding them, but he was strong enough to put that aside.... for naoto that is....

The shadows were slowly dispersing as the last questions was about to be asked. Kazuma's shadow grew angered at Soji;s questions, and yet he grew more interestred in Soji's final answer. The people still fighting to get to the last part of the dungeon, shadow Kazuma did not understand it. They would risk their lives to save someone like Kazuma? He didn't understand the reasoning of it. The final door was slowly opening, a bright light began to burst throw signaling the shadows to move out of the way. In the last section, Shadow Kazuma was holding a bloodied faced Kazuma by his neck. "You here that, their here to save you, but I know you don't want to be save."He said slamming Kazuma to the ground. "You have exceeded my expectations humans." he said to them before the turrets began firing wildly at the group, The maya shadows tried to suffocate Teddie by glomping and clinging on to every possible parts of his body, namely the face. The knights resumed their basic attacks, jousting towards the group ready to have their faces impaled by their lances. "You're final question starts now," he said towards them, "People deserve a second chance?" he asked coldly, "Even if those people are cold blooded killers, Even if those people that deserve a second chances are people who deserves nothing more than punishment? What should you do Human?! What should you do when you're dealing with those humans, Do they deserve that second chance in which you speak of?"

The shadows were thinning, but their strength was waning just as quickly. Following suit with what he had offered Kanji just a moment ago, he popped a Macha Leaf onto the wound on his arm and felt the healing magic do its work, mending the flesh there a little bit so that he could keep up the pace. Naoto and Kanji were both taking serious damage, but maintaining the fight against the shadows with their Persona magics, and Teddie was holding out in back, but hadn't had the chance to heal them yet, either. That's why their vitality was running low...the hordes hadn't given them a chance to rest since they had come here. But they were so damn close...he could see the light beyond the golden doors starting to peek through the crack! "To the door," the Leader ordered his team, charging towards a line of enemies that were standing between them and the final stage of the dungeon. A Maya leaped at him and he slashed it aside like an annoying bug, his concentration reaching its peak as the enemies closed in around him. He parried a knight and struck through the back of its neck, dispersing it with a critical blow. And then, his card crushed in the palm of his other hand, he summoned his persona. "Izanagi-no-Okami! Megidolaon!"
His magic was spent in the familiar non-elemental wave that crushed the enemies around him and knocked the others aside, creating a path towards salvation that he wouldn't let close. They could make it if they all ran, their feet thundering wetly, loudly on the dungeon's bloody floor. And as they neared the door he heard the voice speak out to him again, taunting...asking its final question. He reached the golden crossed door and turned his back to it, sword ready to protect his friends as the portal to the last level became clear. "No matter how great the sin, a person deserves that second chance," he answered clearly, though choosing the exact words with which he wanted to answer wasn't easy, "and though, as humans, we are free to deliver a punishment that fits the crime...final judgment, and the right to deny someone a chance for redemption...those will never belong to us!" He remembered sharply their fight against the murderous Adachi, who had taken the lives of Saki Konishi and Mayumi Yamano in Magatsu Inaba, and how careless and cold-hearted he had been. When they fought him he had shown no remorse...no concern over what he had done...and when they had him beaten, it would have been so easy for them to finish him off, or leave him to the shadows. But would that have been justice? Would that have been right, to deem him unworthy of redemption...and to pass absolute judgment up on him then and there?
No...they had decided that he needed to repent for what he had done. And when the time came for him to leave Inaba, Adachi had done just that, giving them a vital clue in their search for the source of the shadows. He had made a contribution to the greater good, to protecting Inaba, that nobody else could have made...and they would never have beaten Izanami without it. And that...was all the confirmation that Soji needed to know that what they had done was right. Divine will and judgment was not something to be done by the hand of a man. "Everyone can be redeemed," he answered solemnly, looking over his shoulder at the door, waiting for it to open, "even a sinner can repent their sins! You hear me, Kazuma?! Now let us in!"

Kanji watched as the maya tackled Teddie, he pulled a desk from nowhere as he slammed the various maya shadows off of teddie grabbing him as he took him away from them and lifted his persona card letting go of teddie as he ran on his own, crushing it as he spoke " Maziodyne!!!!" he said as he allowed Naoto to pass him up, bringing up the rear as he held the shadow off and took all the attacks he could protecting Naoto and Teddie as he darted for the exit to the next level trying to ensure that Naoto and Teddie were safe....

"You impudent fool." Roared the voice of Shadow Kazuma as the shnadows disappeared as the door opened. The light shined out brightly towards the crew showing the enterance to the last section. Inside Shadow Kazuma was standing tall with his foot of the beaten head of Kazuma which was lying down seemingly motionless. Shadow Kazuma stared coldly at the crew. "You have answered my questions, gotten pass the shadows, and arrived here before the thirty minutes were up, for that I congratulate you." he said calmly while clapping his hands, "Yet, you still no nothing! These humans are nothing, but meaningless filth of flesh. They don't understand anything, they judge other for what they appear to be." he said while looking down at Kazuma, "Isn't that right, Kazuma. When they see me they immediately think that I'm a bad person. Even when I try my best to help others, I am seen as a delinquent." he said as if talking from heart of Kazuma. The real Kazuma tried to lift his head, "Shut your mouth.." but the Shadow Kazuma added more pressure onto his head. "And I, I'm even worse than these people. Look at me, I act like a delinquent, I make my siter worry, my friends are worried. I'm a natural screw up. Maybe in death I can be redeemed." he said before Kazuma lifted his bloodied head up again. "I said that is enough out of you!!" This attempt to escape was meaningless as Shadow Kazuma kicked him in the gut setting him tumbling towards Soji. "Whats wrong Kazuma, Don't like hearing the truth from yourself?" he said before blurting out Kazuma's dark emotions yet agian. "I don't know why I bother to protect them, They don't know who I truly am. Why, why can't these sack of rumor spreading little ******** realize that. They just sprtead rumors about me, while I oncce risk my live to save a girl from a group of Yakuza members. They just don't get it....I hate them. I hate all of them. There is no just thing as good or evil humans. Their all alike, meaningless shitpiles of flesh." He said which caused Kazuma to erupt. "Shut up, Shut up, shut up!!" he said towards his shadow. All he could do was lay on his back as blood ran down from his face to the floor, his body was acking after being attacked by his shadow as Soji and the gang were fighting the other shadows outside of the church. "Let's get this thing straight, you son of a b***h." he said spitting out some blood. "You are not me! Do you understand that!"
With that the shadow began to laugh out loud, as a dark aura engulfed him, as the aura faded with Kazuma's shadow takinga new form. Shadow Kazuma stood tall in his gold, and red armor. His seemlingly heavenly white wings sprouted from his back, his eyes glowed bright blueish as he fly up in the air, looking down at his opponents. "I am a shadow... The true self..... You humans are all alike. No matter what you do, you'll just be the normal pieces of trash. Allow me to help you escape your meaningless lives"
