Actually they did say that they were reading our posts and whatnot, and backreading the guild.
Oh, and when they originally made us look like fools, it was because of some messed up posts in the GCD, apparently.

Hm, interesting. Well, I am glad that they're reading through our guild to learn more instead of just making stuff up.

Burning Crimson Clone Yami I can believe that. If only they asked us or at least did research on us. That way the NPCs would be like us. Or at least close to us. It would be awesome if in the mini-plot line, the final boss is an evil Tim. That would be fun trying to kill the undead. Using actual users would promote favoritism... I could only imagine the SF or GCD when word gets out that The Iron Magnus has his own counterpart in zOMG. Rage rage rage. What they could do, perhaps, is display the avatars but not the names ' _' Or at least our... 'nicknames' (as my heroic name XD which isn't displayed on my user), or just simply show avatars. I heard that in the Zurg comics, many users where portrayed and yet few know who they are. That way, they'd avoid any rage PMs And besides, it would be stupid if they did PM their rage.. we've been stuck with no plots and we are somehow giving some...

You know, this is only my personal perspective, but if I had made a guild or just a group like this and it ended up being written into the gaiaonline storyline in some way I would be flattered and proud that I've made something that warrented such a thing. But then again that's just me.
In any case, I really need to start coming to the guild more often. This was the first time in months that I've checked in on it. I would've missed this news if I hadn't come back to check on things. xp

They aren't using any of our avatars. It will be men and women in suits, just like the GiB agent in Barton Town.

This is so full of win.
I would completely support it to.
Give a "YO. PEOPLE. THIS. IS. A. COMMUNITY. GUESS. WHAT. WE LIKE PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO BE AROUND IN THE COMMUNITY."

As long as they don't make us seem like complete jerks and/or idiots, I think this is awesome news.

Burning Crimson I talked to Qixter about it when I first found out the GiB were to be featured in zOMG. We also sent out a letter of thanks for being featured. However, Qixter choose us as a patronage, no permission was asked.
Besides, I'm pretty sure that there is a clause in the Terms of Service that says that user created material is the sole property of Gaia online. Actually, there's a clause that says user-created material is the sole property of the user. take note of the bold text, and especially the italicized text. Quote: Ownership; Proprietary Rights. Gaia Online is owned and operated by Gaia Interactive Inc.. The visual interfaces, graphics, design, compilation, information, computer code, products, software, services, and all other elements of Gaia Online provided by Gaia, including without limitation any artwork, Gaia virtual items, Gaia Gold, Member Submissions, Gaia Member Online Accounts or User IDs, or visual art and any combination thereof (all of the foregoing, collectively, the "Materials") are protected by copyright, trade dress, patent, and trademark laws, international conventions, and all other relevant intellectual property and proprietary rights, and applicable laws. Except for any Member Submissions, which are owned by and provided by our Members, all Materials contained on Gaia Online are the property of Gaia or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies and/or third-party licensors. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to Gaia or its affiliates and/or third-party licensors. Except as expressly authorized by Gaia, you agree not to buy, sell, license, distribute, copy, modify, publicly perform or display, transmit, publish, edit, adapt, create derivative works from, or otherwise make any unauthorized or commercial use of the Materials. You agree to abide by all copyright notices, information and restrictions contained in any Materials. And last I checked, Gains in Black was created by members, the founder of which is still here.

That's great news. The Believers have their own niche, the GIB will be getting a bigger niche, and so that just leaves the Hive and the Resistance. Eh, I guess that's for the eventual return though. wink
And GIB was put into the plot because H2K6 was user-run. Like EXE said, we can't be taken out now. The events of H2K6 were fueled by users themselves, and now that the events have happened, there's no turning back.
