Xi watched her fellow vampires stroll out of the cave that they called their home. With a twirl of her light parasol, and a small shuffle of her feet, she followed after, curious of the daylight world that she tried to avoid at all costs.
Ugh, the sun will ruin my perfect complexion, she thoughtfully complained with a grimace as she moved the parasol to block out the hot rays. Although they were able to withstand the daylight unlike myths spread around the human world, it didn't mean that Xi had to like it. She despised the sun, and always had since she was a tiny baby still living in Japan.
While musing about her past, she found herself standing in front of a cafe, and made her way in past the glass doors. She ignored the stares she got from her strange, yet graceful, appearance, and chose from the menu a simple hot tea.
"May I have a grande peppermint tea? Heavily sweetened, please," she asked the gawking cashier. They nodded their head as they punched in her order, and after paying the cost, Xi turned and went to sit on a lounge chair in the dark corner of the room.
I see there are some vampires here as well, she recognized as she glanced over the crowd in the coffee shop.

Kitty walked down the busy street, searchng though her bag for her badge, to go on her apron. She was late to work again and extremly worried about lossing her job.
When she got to the cafe, she slowly opened the glass doors, hopeing her boss hadn't seen her, as he was probably waiting for her around the back enterance. She noticed that the cafe was oddly filled today, and with many new faces. She walked over to the counter and ducked under it to get to the otherside. She looked around, noticing the pale figures, but not commenting, as her boss would surely fire her... If he wasn't going to already!
She began to wash some of the mugs and put them out, one ontop of the other, next to the coffee machine, waiting for the next customer to come, after the other cashier went. She cleaned her glasses and stared at the door, daydreamig about weather or not the pale figure were really vampires, and if she could finally meet one.
She remembered what her mum always told her, Vampires maybe real, but they wouldn't walk the earth in daylight. They wouldn't burn like in the fairytales, but they would get caught, and questioned. She sighed, looking downwards, wishing for a real vampire, just one, to show her she was right!

Myia walked the streets with a book in her hand and a bookmark being held by her lips. It was written in Latin and a tail of lies, love, and war. She was enjoying herself as the story got to a very fun exciting part that made her have goosebumps. She stopped at an intersection and waited until it was safe for her to go. She went on and some how she did not bump into anyone or run into anything. This was just one of the things she could do and she couldn't explain it. 'Ha! Knew it!' She got a little bit of energy from finding out that one of her guesses where right.

Xi sipped at her tea calmly and let the cup warm her permanently cold hands, a sensation she rather enjoyed. In the time she had been there, she observed a writer frantically trying to make his deadline, a group of teens bust in and cause a ruckus, a couple holding hands and whispering sweet nothings in each others ears, and a rushed worker, trying hard not to be late.
It certainly is quite interesting out in the daytime, although I much prefer the freaks I see wandering the streets when the moon is out, she mused quietly to herself as she crossed her legs. I should probably find something to do though, she wondered. I mean, from now on I'll be wandering the day and the night world. Her memory flashed back to that frantic writer she had observed earlier on in the day. Perhaps I can write? I certainly know enough tales to last a human's lifetime, and I can make good money off of it, she concluded as she stood to throw her cup in the trash.

Edouard was one of the last to go around town. He had first gone and checked to see if he had enough money to squander.
He noticed though, that most of his vampire companions had particularly entered this shop. He smiled slyly, maybe his next target was there.
He entered inside the shop, just as soon as Xi was leaving. His mouth curved up a little and he opened the door for her, "After you, mademoiselle." He gave her a wink then walked into the shop after she had made her way out.
He glanced around the shop as he made his way towards the counter. He could easily identify some vampires and some humans. He frown slightly, several of the vampires had a human giving them attention. He should have come sooner.
He finally reached the counter, placing his finger on the counter to tap it. "I would be honored if you served me some champagne." He glanced at Kitty who was cleaning glasses, then he placed his chin on his hand, his mouth curving upwards, "And I'd like to purchase a little of your time." He added, winking.
Elliot shivered. It wasn't because he was cold though. It was because he was out in the sunlight. He was wearing an over-sized jacket, a scarf tied around his neck, a pair of aviator shades, and a cap to complete his 'winter' style, except it wasn't winter.
He hated the sun. But he wasn't a vampire. All he wanted to do is to coop himself up in his room and research about vampires. He cringed, if only his mother hadn't asked him to buy something, he wouldn't be here.
He frowned and made his way through the busy street, uncaring of the suspicious looks of people. As he continued, he suddenly found a parasol in the middle of the 'desert'. "Finally!!" He cried, then he rushed towards the oblivious Xi and went under her parasol too.
"This heat is killing me! Thank goodness there's some shade in this desert." He sighed in relief and started relaxing when he felt the surprised gaze of Xi.
"O-O-O-O-Oh no! I'm so SORRY!!" He bowed his head low and went out of the shade. "I-I wasn't really thinking...Sorry..."

Kitty turned to notice a handsome, pale blonde gentleman stood at the counter. She put the mug down in the pile, giving him a subtle smile, and slightly blushing.
"You can have as much of my time as you want," She giggled to him, "Take forever," Her smile grew, filling a champagne flûte and placing it gentally on the counter.
Her eyes fell into his. They were a beautiful blue-green colour, deep, but at the same time different. She was spellbound for a minute. His pale complection was magical, she even started calling herself crazy.
She caught a glimpse of his fang and her eyes widened slightly. She slipped out under the counter and overed her hand to the man. Daydreams filled her head of what the vampire could do with her. Don't be carzy, you can get filed teeth, it's not uncommon, she told herself, but it didn't convice her. She didn't want to sound crazy if he wasn't, or pushy if he was.
"I've not seen you around town much," She commented, admiring his attire, which was not the ordinary for these parts.

At first, Xi was astonished that this young human boy would simply take the shade of her parasol so bluntly, but after looking at his young face, she simply smiled and shrugged her shoulders. With a small giggle, she tried to ease his tension with a simple statement. "I understand," Xi smiled. "I hate the sun too," she stated while she looked forward and continued her slow, graceful walk. "I'd much prefer walking beneath the moonlight, but I can't stay cooped up inside all day, now can I?"
Xi grew silent momentarily only to concentrate on the smell of the boy's blood, not noticing it until now which was surprisingly unusual for Xi. She typically was always stalking out human's scents, trying to find that special blood that she wanted for so very long. Strange, she mused to herself as her eyebrows and nose scrunched up ever so slightly. His blood smells sweet with a hint of... electricity? she questioned, noticing that the very smell of his blood sent bolts of shivers running up and down her spine. She simply smiled, not minding the sensation she was receiving from the boy's mere scent.
"Tell me, where are you heading? I would like to accompany you if you don't mind," she inquired, not wanting to let go of this boy just yet. She had a good feeling that his blood was the kind she had been looking for these many years.

Myia stopped herself from reading on when she heard her stomach growl. Looking around at the shops, she wonder on which one to go to. Then she remembered one of her friends talking about this shop that always had beautiful people going there and working there. The thought of it sparked her interest. Now, only if she could remember where they said it was at. Her cheeks puffed up because she couldn't remember. 'Gr. Think dang it.' She thought.
Myia stopped when she past a shop as it gave her some chills. 'That must be it.' She thought walking up to the door. Opening it, she found her friends to be right. There was a lot of beautiful people here, but some stood out more then other, way more then others. She study the place as she took a seat at a table meant for two. Myia took the other chair and pushed it away from the table, leaving her the one she sat in.
