Someone that doesn't watch alot of anime should watch more.
I don't have time for everything, so I've all but abandioned live-action in favor of anime. smile

Some of it is just to weird for me to understand or get whats going on. I prefer to watch American shows. At least they are set in a culture I'm familiar with.

True, there are some cultural bounderies that someone would never understand unless they had lived there. But I'm willing to give almost anything a try.
About the only show I've ever said no too after only seeing part of the first episode, was "the prince of tennis"
However I did turn down a hentai once because the story bored me so much.
So I actually prefer even hentai's with at least a little story.
(you may be in shock now - LOL)

although I did find it funny after seeing acouple of different series, the shows for the boys had girls with large breast and the ones for the girls had girls with normal size breast.

NO, there are anime shows I find very boring.
It just seems that way because the majority of shows that have been made lately AREN'T in that catagory.

......It seems like....well to me atleast. (And even American shows are the same so I'm not being biased) but....Anime are just the same. It's like okay, this anime is about a giant robot that attacks tokyo, a sexy half-dressed chick has to come save the world from it. ........Next anime, it's a giant turtle instead of a robot. ........Next anime, it's TWO half-dressed chicks and a giant robot controlled by one of the girls ex-boyfriends. .....Or whatever. I really don't know if any of those are anime, I just made it up. >_<;;;; BUT MY POINT IS.............it's all the same storyline in the end and it's boring.

Yeah, most entertainment of any kind is like that these days. No one has any imagination. xp Whether it's anime or American movies or music. Part of it may be because we've seen it all, but mostly everything's been done.

I still like watching those shows b/c I like guessing the ending. NCIS has been on a marathon these last couple of weeks and its fun trying to guess who actually killed the other person. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong.
But I do agree, some shows and movies have the same base story line that has been done a million time by now.

Anime creators are masters of re-hashing storys.
I like watching it for the characters, not just the story.
Sometimes changing 1 detail is enough to make me see it again.
