Snap a rubber band on your wrist. Or punch a brick wall. I usually go with the second choice. But thats just me x)

The best alternative is holding an ice cube in your hand until it melts :]
Other alternate ways I find are listening to music like Enter Shikari. -Don't listen to music thats gonna drag you down even further though mad

bite yourself. if you bleed, drink it. the saltiness will relax you. lay down on ur bed, and stare. stare stare at ur ceiling, wall, floor, hell, stare at your fish. twisted give it a headache. stressed

I know when I cant do it.. 'Cuz my bf and fam. gets disappointed in me. Thinking there's no hope..
i usually go walking (alot) It helps relieve stress. Oh! My councilor also told me something about getting early morning sunlight, helps ya be happy. heart (Or something like that) Um... How about writting, or drawing, I mean idk how to give good advice when I do it myself. So, That would make me a hypocrit.. awe, man.. =[ What about reading. Or clearing your head.. =]
I do hope everything gets better.

Get someone to beat you up. That way, you wont be blamed for hurting yourself 4.) Bite your tongue, and eat salt. That's all I can think of for now. Actually, having someone beat you up is a good idea. Especially if they'll let you beat them up too. That way you can let out your anger on them, and get really hurt too. My only suggestion is to write. And listen to music. Loud. I like to make my family mad at me. It makes me feel better. I want them to look at me and say, "Wow, what a mistake she was." I don't know why, I just get a certain satisfaction from it. Or, even better, sex.

Princes_Of_Darknes_828 Bite your finger or snap your wrist with a rubber band It still causes pain, but you cant kill yourself by doing it. EDIT: I've bitten myself since the day I got teeth..... I never understood why.... But it doesn't cause pain for me confused I managed to freak out a camp counsler by biting my hand once biggrin I agree with the rubber band snapping. I keep one rubber band on each wrist ever since my parents found out about my cuts and eraser burns. and I keep hearing about the ice cube things and I might try it before I decide to hold a knife against my wrist or throat again. That's my problem now...

I used to cut but now I'm not allowed to so I've been having a hard time finding alternatives. I've always bitten my thumb or finger. And scratch my arms. And done the rubber band thing.
Once I hit my head on a wall. But I wouldn't recommend that. =/

Writing doesn't work for me. I do it anyways cuz I like to write, but it doesn't help. I typically punch walls. Just make sure it's a solid wall, you don't want to have a hole in the wall. It hurts, but it doesn't leave the scars like cutting does.
