Since the attention for the moment seemed to be off of her Sil crouched down in her small shallow hidey hole she was so tired from her days adventures and blinked sleepy eyes to try and stay awake - she wasn't sure what would happen if she fell asleep right now. A small whine escaped her throat although she tried to muffle it by shoving her muzzle into her paws, only half listening to whatever it was the adults were speaking about.

Korrigan's eyes narrowed at the male, the hair on the back of her neck prickling up and burning her skin with an itch. She stared at him, lip quivering but never rising. She took a deep breath. "If I leave her, she will be eaten by something much worse than me." She enunciated clearly, making her point, though her gaze traveled to the cuff and chain adorning the brown male's leg.
Had he no memory of what they could do? She shook with a silent laugh; the idea of going after the humans again...was pure insanity. However...if it was what he wanted. "Make ya a deal, pal. I'll take her home, safe and sound, no scratches on her skinny little hide and then you and me, we go to the humans. Is that what you'd like?" Green eyes gleamed. Could she perhaps use this male?

For a few moments he wasn't sure if the adult had quite understood him, and it was only when she continued that Denzel shut his mouth before he repeated himself more loudly. The deal seemed reasonable enough, but he still didn't like the feel of that look in her eyes, even if he could not pinpoint what exactly was in them. Greed? Lust (even though he had no idea what it was, the word was in his vocabulary)? "I. I come with," the adolescent replied with a glance to the crack in the rock where the pup hid, whining. "Make sure safe. Then go find. This good?"

Sil had been listening to the adults outside and warily peeked her head out to peer up at them with pleading eyes, once sleek fur none the better for her days outing and then cramming herself alongside the mud wall.
"Your going to take me home?"
She asked them - gaze roving between the two of them as if unsure just who she had to ask.

Make sure safe. Right. Korrigan rolled her eyes, turning away from the teen with a small roll of her shoulders. A shrug of agreement. She didn't care if he came. She didn't want this little female; she was too young.
Offering Silhouette a gentle smile, she hopped down onto the bank and moved closer to the muddy pup. She eyed her for a moment, trying to figure out how to pick her up without smearing her own coat with brown. The idea of dirt made her want to retch...
Carefully, she clamped her jaws around Sil's scruff, then leapt from the riverbank and onto the solid ground. With a look towards the strange shackled teen, she nodded and set off, following the faint smell of pack on Silhouette's fur. She wasn't too far from the packlands...

Contented enough with the silent gesture, Denzel followed at her heels, the silence punctured by his metal tongue every once in a while. How odd he must have looked, dragging one leg while the others walked fine, as if he were handicapped in the head! Then again, this was very, very possible . . . It was the only reason he could not remember what had happened to him, where these accessories had come from, or why at the most random of things his temper would implode upon itself, at the gapes of his memory where he pawed at only velvet darkness. Would this female be able to help him find the answers? he could only hope, for the strange she-wolf that sometimes came to his dreams seemed more insubstantial than even a night-picture, less than a figment of his imagination.
Perhaps merely another sign that he wasn't quite right. Quiet as a mouse, the young wolf kept the gray and pink pup in his sights as they padded along.

Sil had given a little squeak as Korrigan had picked her up, eyes wide as they rolled up to look at her gaping jaw descend before bing whisked into the air, the strange grey male padded along behind them and Sil caught brief glimpses of his as they padded along. during those brief glimpses the little pup noticed his strange gait. Was he injured?...she thought about asking but one look at the clawed foot pacing along under her swaying rump and the Sil's curiosity was quite strangled.

Korrigan's own gait was swift, one paw in front of the other, the gauntlet making a soft 'chirp-click' sound as the metal claws pressed into the ground and then were let free once again. At one time, the pressure would've bothered the she-wolf, but it had been so long since she'd first worn it. She was easily accustomed to it now.
She, however, caught sight of the strange brown teen's odd walk. He watched her carefully, as if she might turn on him, or perhaps sprint off into the forest with the pup in tow. She didn't; she kept an easy pace, even as they came upon the boundary lines. Crunch's scent was thick here and it made her nose wrinkle, but she forged onwards anyways.
Closing off towards the dens, she paused, setting Silhouette down and licking the stray dirt from her own chest. Her ears were pricked, listening for any sound of the pup's family. "This work, little one?"

At the growing scents around them, Denzel's hackles had stiffened, for he was never one to purposefully trespass onto boundaries for any reason, and by simply walking in like this it was like completely ignoring an inbred instinct - that is, a very, very hard thing to do for someone more on the edge of primal and basic than the casual wolf. Thus by the time Korrigan had dropped the pup, the adolescent had dragged behind without even knowing it, spring leaf-colored eyes darting about for a sign of a sentry, paws kneading the ground anxiously. The quicker they finished this business, the quicker they could leave.

Sil's eyes brightened as they made their way into land she recognized, she was near to tring to squirm out of Korrigan's grasp when the boldly colored female finally set her down. Now back on home turf Sil forgot her earlier fear and bounced in a happy puppy circle.
"Thank you Miss Korrigan and..and ...Sir"
She finally managed to call out to the male wolf that was somewhat behind before barking out happily and scampering off as fast as her little puppy legs could carry her sending clots of dirt springing back behind her.
((And Sils is home whoo-hoo, imagine she's gone from the thread tis all you two now heart PS - Love Korrigan Nova heart ))

Strangely, Korrigan felt something tug at her heartstrings as the little pup bounded away, unharmed by neither her or any other predators of the night. A smile found its way to her face -- a true smile, not a smirk, for once -- and she stood there, reveling in the feeling for many moments before turning back to Denzel.
"You have a name, pup?" she asked, padding towards him, circling around him. She took in the strange earring and the shackle around his back paw. Strange; he'd been captured by humans, obviously, but he wanted to go back and see them. "Either way, it doesn't matter. I told you we'd go so we'll go." She shook the non-existant dirt from her coat, then padded forwards, fully expecting him to follow.
To find the humans.
((Thanks Jet <3 Medz, shall we start a new rp with them going to find the humans? If so, finish it off biggrin ))

Not even the sounds of a relieved pup could settle him down, though about the eyes he softened as Silhouette bounded back into her home territory. If nothing else, should they be detained now, their business was innocent and beneficial to whatever pack laid here; still, Denzel made a mental note of where they were so that he might not ever cross by again and turned to Kor-
- Had she said something? He could have sworn. There ahead the wolf was already walking away, and he trailed after her with his strange and adapted gait, head down. It was growing dark soon; would they find humans? Blithra would be worried by now, so he could only hope that their search would go as quickly and smoothly as this one did. |~| If y'want, Nova, we can wait till Oathkeeper gets here before starting that one up. She's the one who effed the guy's brains out on accident. XD I'll fin here. |~|
