"Hehehehe!" A maniacal laugh escaped his lips as the boy in front of him fell into the darkness. He was not surprised at this outcome, for that is the reason he came to this island in the first place. He came for the kill. The hunt. The lust for the blood and death made him exhilarate within himself. Turning his head around, he watched as several others made their way out from the secret place, only to fall into his grasp. This island was his battlefield and they were his prey, his goal; obliteration. As he turned his head back to the two in front of him, he was met with a blinding light that forced him to raise his free hand up to keep his opticals safe. As the light faded, he saw the same boy as before, but now within the possession of a keyblade. A smile crept its way back to Xavier's lips. "Well now, how about them odds? But you know, even with a keyblade, you still have no chance in defeating me. I'm much more experienced than you!" He brought his keyblade up and down and in vertical slash, but disappeared from sight before the boy could react. He reappeared behind him and the edge of his keyblade to Roan's back. "I hope you'll take this as a lesson to respect those more powerful than you." Before he did his final attack, he looked at the girl who had just spoken to him, only to laugh at his accusation. "Why yes! Thank you for noticing!" He laughed at his sarcasm before he pulled his keyblade arm back and thrust it forward towards Roan's back in an attempt to stab right through him. He had a feeling that it would not kill the boy, but he knew it would frighten him enough to not attack back.

Roan hated this man. As he looked down at Roan, boasting about his powers and showing just how bad his lust for blood was, he couldn't help but want this man to just disappear. Roan would protect Naomi though, no matter what. He rose the keyblade up as the man brought it down on him, but instead of feeling the two weapons collide, he felt the man's weapon against his back. Roan's eyes widened before he heard the faint sound of the keyblade moving in the air, pulling back, then moving towards Roan's back. Roan quickly rolled to the side, holding on to Naomi tightly and letting her go as he stopped. The teenager stood up, facing this malicious man, and readied himself for a battle. He wasn't that good at swordplay, but he knew enough. Roan held the keyblade out before him and waited.

"Well well, looks like kiddo here has some moves. Good thing you dropped that dead weight, maybe you'll move a little faster." Clenching his keyblade tight in one hand, he would push himself forward, drawing back his blade arm and extending it forward until it came to about an inch from Roan's face, where he would stop the attack and disappear from sight, reappearing above Roan and dropping his foot down towards his head. As he fell towards Roan, he found himself with an image of a new girl charging at him, her also with a keyblade. "Fun fun!" He laughed as he whipped his keyblade around and swung it at Cari in a horizontal slash as he continued to drop towards Roan's head.

Roan's fear was slowly dissipating, being replaced by a warmth and what seemed to be much more power. When Xavier feigned striking Roan from ahead, and decided to send a kick from above, Roan could actually see his movements a lot easier. He raised his keyblade so the man's foot struck the weapon instead of his head. When Cari yelled out for Roan to duck, he immediately did so and lowered his body, bringing Xavier down with him so Cari's blade would meet the man.

Cari dodged Xavier's keyblade, but the next thing she knew she took a lighting bolt to the face knocking her back. Her vision blurred as she cradled her head in her hands. She took a direct hit, it was a miracle it didn't kill her. Although she could barely see a thing, she could still hear what's going on. Cari could hear that smug b*****d taunt her saying in his own way she was far from being a threat. That may have been true, but it still pissed her off. "Dammit!" On top of suffering a humiliating defeat, that jerk took Naomi captive. Cari didn't really know the girl but from what she had seen, Naomi was a nice person. She had helped Cari out after Blake and his gang bruised her up by healing her. In a way Cari felt indebted to Naomi.

Cari shook her head, hoping her vision would come back soon. If that jerk made her go blind, there was going to be hell to pay. She could barely make out the shape of Roan standing in front of her "For the most part I'm ok." Cari sighed. Her vison was slowly coming back so, that was one less thing she had to worry about. However there was still the issue of Xavier taking Naomi. She doubted he'd stay on Destiny Islands. For all they knew he could have traveled to another world. If that was so how were they going to get Naomi back? It was then Cari noticed the keyblade in Roan's hand. "So you got one of those too?" she asked staring at Roan's keyblade. It looked a lot different than hers, almost night and day actually. Cari thought it was kind of interesting despite the fact she was still worried about Naomi.

Etoile was nearly stunned by what she had witnessed. Three keyblade weilders going at it. However, the two teens seemed to only be used to play fighting. Or was it perhaps that they weren't quite in tune with their keyblades yet?

Hearing the girl who had come from the secret place (only for another to follow), Etoile had to interfere. Walking quickly from her place on the small island, over the bridge, then to the two teens she stood between them and the young woman. "I'm sorry, but I think they did splendidly. Yes, they didn't win, but it was more than obvious that guy has years of experience over them, or any of us for that matter. Not to be cruel", Etoile said as she pointed to the wooden sword in the young woman's hand, "but do you honestly think you could've done better with that? If they had gone against him with these pathetic things, they wouldn't be alive. Be thankful that they did get keyblades to save their own butts."

Turning her back to the young woman she looked to the two teens. "Hey, are you two going to be alright? Lightning can do severe damage in the long run. As for the girl that guy took, who is she...to you?" she asked looking to the boy.
