"He is my life." William smiled and nodded at her. "It's good that your still taking courses tho.. and to hold that grade up on the fast track is quite amazing." he took a sip of his drink and was really at a loss. He was so rusty and not used to talking to anyone but business people and Noah... and he was quite sure that Sarah did not want to talk about the new Hill's garden or learn her ABC's again.

Sarah blushed slightly at his compliment, "Thank you. It's hard work but I get through it, I am really strong headed when it comes to my career and education." she replied. "So tell me about your son." Sarah said, wanting some more information on his life.

He smiled at her, she was really cute. "Ah well.. he's four and is going to start school in another week. He loves dogs, but we don't have one yet, I'm thinking of getting him one for Christmas if he still wants one." William could go on and on about Noah, after all Noah and work were pretty much all he knew. "He loves to play at the park and in our backyard, he's a really good kid.. and he has me wrapped around his little finger." he chuckled still smiling. "So tell me more about you?"

"Well, may parents live in Colorado and own a nice big ranch there. I keep in contact with them daily since they are the biggest supporters in anything I strive to do. I have a good group of friends, some I met through work and some others through college, that I go out with sometimes for dinner or lunch. I want to make fashion designing my life and on my next birthday I turn 20, my parents are sending some sort of surprise gift. I don't own a pet but wish to and my favorite color is red." Sarah smiled. "There's a bit more about me. That's exciting that your son is going to be attending school soon, is he excited or nervous?' she asked.

"He's a little of both... He's been going to pre-school but only three days a week and only until 1 n the afternoon." He took a drink of his tea. "I've always wanted to live on a ranch... be out in the open... maybe have a few horses or something." he smiled. "When is your birthday?"

Sarah blushed slightly, "August 15th. I grew up on a ranch, spent my whole life there until I moved here. It was a sad goodbye but I had to move on, to have any sort of career I mean. Aw preschool, I volunteered there once in awhile down in my old town. Kids are so adorable." The waitress finally arrived with their food and she smiled as it was set down in front of her; it looked so delicious.

"You'll have to come and met Noah then." William thanked the waitress and poured the dressing over his salad. "I'd like to see some of your fashion sketches sometime... I bet your really good at it... do you hand draw it or do you have a computer for your designing?"

Sarah waited until she swallowed the bite of food and then she answered, "Hand design, sometimes I go on the computer to refine the design because it looks better to the person I'm selling it to. It's kinda sad though, I miss the good old days where sketches were appropriate." she replied. Then it hit her, he had told her that she should come meet Noah sometime soon! Alright, she needed to calm down before she knocked something off the table and cause a scene.

William ate some of his salad before speaking again. "Do you have any hobbies?" he asked watching her eat her meal with a smile. He was begging to relax now, but he still struggled with the social end of things... he didn't know what to ask her or what to talk about.

"Drawing is one of them, if you didn't already guess." she said, chuckling at herself. Oh good job, laughing at one of your own jokes is definitely the best route. "You ever had those orange chocolate candies? Oh gosh they are so good, I know you asked hobby but I was just commenting. You should try them sometime." Sarah said, then took another bite of her food.

William chucked softly. "Yes those are quite good." he smiled as he ate thinking how cute Sarah was. "What is your absolutely favorite food?" for some reason he felt he needed to know the little details about her.
He was even going over his week in his head to see which day they might go out on another date, this one with Noah

Sarah noticed him watching and tried not to blush, but it failed just like everything else, so she tried talking hoping ignoring it would work. "Soup, more specifically Clam Chowder. I love it. I love going places and trying it, but never buy it canned because it will never be as good. Soup with a side of hot chocolate on a rainy day..ah it's just perfect." she said smiling, that feeling always brought her into complete bliss.

"Ahh.. comfort food." he finished his salad since it was simply a small side salad and started on his own soup and sandwich. "Mine would have to be a good creamy pasta.. like Alfredo."

"Mmmhm, Alfredo is definitely good. Italian food in general is my favorite. Take me to a good Italian restaurant and I'm happy." she had almost finished her meal.

"Well we will have to try that new one when it opens up down on Main st." he said after finishing off his sandwich. "So umm..." he said realizing that their date was getting close to an end... after all they had only agreed on dinner.. no movie or walk in the park or talk over coffee... "I was thinking if your free next Saturday... we could met at the park and have a picnic and you can met Noah."
