Noi did indeed catch Saccha's predicament and she smiled kindly. "That's alright, I can hide fast, and I'll tell you a secret: I don't know how to count very high either." She chuckled watching the little lioness. "Do you want to hide or seek first?"

The small cub brightened considerably. "Oh, oh, can I seek first, then?" Sher lightly colored tailed swished in the air as she lowered herself to an almost pouncing position. She was excited. Her playmate didn't want to leave! Oh, this was grand!
The lioness giggled.

"Sure" Noi smiled and looked around wondering where she'd hide. "You just close your eyes and start counting" Not too far away she spotted a denser than normal patch of flowers and tall grass and decided that's where she'd hide once the little lioness closed her eyes.

The young lioness squeezed her eyes closed and covered her eyes with her paws. The light pinkish-tan tail stil waved in the air, and her bum wiggled in anticipation. She started counting. "O-one... um... two?" She continued in some odd squence, likely out of order. She stumbled over the next few number.
"Ten!"

By the time Saccha got to ten Noi was nestled down into the dense bit of grass and flowers. She knew with her bright red markings it wasn't much of a hiding place, but the game was supposed to be fun not super challenging. Her golden eyes watched the little lioness, having fun for the first time in a while.

Light brown paws fell from her eyes and she looked around, head quite burried in flowers. The young lioness gave a giggle and pulled herself from the pouncing position. "Humm...?"
She looked around, almost frowning in concentration. She started forward, swiveling her head and walking in the opposite direction... "Eh...?" She turned around, head slightly tilted in confusion.
There! A spot of red!
She bounded towards the spot.

When she was found Noi popped up laughing, "You found me!" She grinned and turned her back on the lioness. "Now you go hide and I'll count. 1...2...3..."
The two played hide and go seek for the rest of the day, until dusk was settling in, Noi was exhausted, and Saccharose was called home by her mother. The leopardess watched the little lioness run off with a smile, she'd have cubs of her own to play with soon.
