"You could call me that." She did get around at least even if it wasn't always the traveling sort of around. Ahh she missed those days. IT was so much easier when she knew where everyone was instead of now and all the new groups appearing all over the place.

He'd been inquiring after her brother, really, but as he hadn't been interested in him aside from an excuse to continue the conversation, said nothing. "You don't say?" He chuckle heartily. "Then I have much to be proud of!"
"Aside from my dashing good looks, of course," he joked, winking.

"You do at that. It takes a lot to get my attention." She smirked. She liked her men dashing and charming and strong. Which he fit the bill she had just never bothered to really think about lions as partners. She doubted most of them would have any interest in her species.

"Always a good thing. It's never good to look shabby." She smirked as she looked him over again. "Shows that you dont care about yourself enough and taking that into account why would you care about anything else."
She'd always figured keeping herself clean would give off the impression she had a caring side. "But you do so ..."

"It's such poor taste." She shook her head tsking slightly. She liked this male. He was at least interesting for conversation if nothing else. "Words of wisdom you don't often hear from males of your species." She was used to them being happy to roll around in the dirt.

"Mm ... it does." She smirked before getting up so she could walk closer to him. "Thankfully you don't smell anything like a water buffalo" In fact the other lion smelled rather nice compared to the others she'd come across.

Ohh, that was promising! He was quite happy that she decided to come closer, and certainly hoped she might decide to come closer still. He had a little bit of a...lower success rate, when it came to leopards and cheetahs. A lot of them just weren't interested in inter-species relationships.
"I do my best," he said. "Neither do you, but then, you are female. Hygiene seems to come a little more naturally to you."

"It makes it very hard to hunt when your prey can smell you a mile away." She grinned as she continued to walk closer to him, eventually making a circle of him before sitting down again, rather close this time. "Plus who would want to get a coat as pretty as mine dirty?"

"Precisely," he said with a purr, very much approving of her new, close proximity to him. He made sure to eye her coat appreciatively when she mentioned it. "A coat as lovely as yours really shouldn't be neglected. You've done very well by yours, if I do say so."

"I do so love to keep up with it." She grinned. "Clean coats are after all cooler than dirty ones. So much easier for the breeze to move things around."
She had a feeling that his coat would be hot no matter what he did. That sort of color must soak up the heat like almost nothing else. "You seem to have done well by yours, even if it must be a nuisance on days like this"
