Oh no! Calamity! What is any self-respecting over-achiever or professional slacker to do? Go demand an explanation for this bullshit from the librarian, of course.

Regular - Home Room - Tallulah and Ellie - Complete Ellie and Tallulah are the only ones awake during homeroom. The teacher is missing - apparently the class is so pointless that even she can't be bothered to show up. The girls bond over their mutual wakefulness despite that they might not have spoken otherwise, and discover they have math the same period. Tallulah gets slightly better at this friend making thing.

Ever since her earliest memories, Tallulah had loved animals. At age five, she had declared she didn’t want any more cows to die just so she could have a cheeseburger, and she had not eaten a single bite of meat since. She began work at the animal shelter in middle school and never missed a day. Every Monday, like clockwork, she went and worked for a few hours. One side effect of her volunteer work was that she was always bringing home animals to foster. If you could rehabilitate a cat into living in a social situation, then it was easier to adopt out. Unfortunately the shelter was not no-kill, and Tallulah hated to see them take strays to be euthanized more than anything. At present, she had six cats living at her house. Two of them were permanent residents, Casper and Wendy, but the other four were fosters who would return to the shelter to find new homes once they were healthy again. After getting home from the shelter, she had to feed them and clean their litter boxes, but she didn’t mind doing chores. Her parents only let her keep the cats because she took care of them. Still, if she brought home any more they might kill her. Tallulah was an only child. She and her parents lived in a semi-detatched house that was not exactly in the urban core of Destiny City, but wasn’t exactly in the suburbs, either. It was sort of in the middle, a street with huge old maple trees that turned all sorts of crazy colors in the autumn. In a few weeks the leaves on the trees would match the bricks on the houses. She liked this time of year best, the crisp air and the start of school and athletics. They’d lived somewhere else once, but she’d been very young. Tallulah personally didn’t remember any home other than Destiny City. Once the cats were all taken care of, she did her homework. It was still only the second week of school, so she didn’t have very much of it, but she still wanted to get it done early. Math problems – easy, though she suspected that calculus wouldn’t remain that way – five more chapters of The Scarlet Letter – pretty boring. She decided she didn’t like Nathaniel Hawthorne. (This was okay – he probably wouldn’t like her, either, if they were to meet in the street.) She did some reading for American History, and then went downstairs for dinner. Her parents had grilled chicken, and she had a veggie burger. There was asparagus for all three of them, and she told them about her day between bites. School had been mostly uneventful, but someone had dropped off a box of puppies at the shelter and she got to help the vet on duty give them their shots. This, she enthused, had been fascinating. (Tallulah wanted to be a veterinarian.) Still, other than that, it had not been a particularly exciting day. She watched a bit of television and then went to bed. Tomorrow it would be time to get up and do it all again.

Regular - Cousins of Lions - Tallulah and Jaimie - Complete Another day at the animal shelter. Jaimie brings in a spunky little kitten. Tallulah thinks he's cute, but it's hard to tell if she means the boy or the cat, or possibly both. He seems okay for a Hillsworth boy. He used big words and seemed to know what they meant.

Regular - Learning is FUNdamental - Tallulah and Milla - Complete Milla interrupts Model UN practice to request Tallulah's presence at the library. Tallulah heads over as quickly as she can and is always happy to use her superior intellect for the betterment of others, but doesn't necessarily realize when she is being used.

The kitten is fine. Our vet checked him out, gave him his shots and a clean bill of health, and we put him out for adoption. A little girl came by today and picked him out, so it has a happy ending. She seemed nice and I'm sure he'll be a very happy cat.
I was wondering if you're still interested in grabbing a bite to eat. I'm pretty busy with school but I'm sure I can make room in my schedule for you.

Battle - After Curfew - Tallulah/Sailor Regulus/Sailor Pegasus/Lt. Linarite - Complete Tallulah and Jaimie sneak into Meadowview after hours. They come across a Sailor Pegasus and Lt. Linarite, both on rounds, and very nearly get caught up in the crossfire! They run away and are separated. (Jaimie transforms into Sailor Regulus, but shhh! Tallulah doesn't know this!) Tallulah gets the whole thing on tape as Pegasus and Regulus fight off Linarite, who flees to terrorize the city another day!

It took Tallulah a couple of days to find the time to really look at the video. By the time she got home that night, she was exhausted and all she could think to do was to go straight to bed. The next day she was busy straight through, and then had an essay to write, so she didn’t get to look at the video then. Then there was an emergency meeting of the MUN called to talk about an upcoming conference, so that day was no good, either. It was Friday afternoon by the time she got to even stop and think about the video. First, she uploaded it from her phone onto her computer and watched it at full resolution, which was unquestionably different from watching it on her phone’s little screen. The video quality was grainy, but you could still clearly see the three combatants – the girl in gray with shockingly blue hair, and the blonde boy and girl in sailor suits. Indeed, the cut was nothing like a school uniform. After consulting Google, the closest that she could come up with was something like a tutu, but even that wasn’t really accurate. She sighed and decided to settle for calling it a sailor suit, if only in the name of simplicity. She didn’t know much about computers, but she knew enough to get the video into the default movie editing software and amp up the sound. She didn’t feel comfortable trying to do anything to the picture quality in case she messed it up for good, but bringing up the sound was easy and foolproof enough for her to manage. She played it several times until she thought she understood what they were saying. The girl in the sailor suit shouted something like, “Dream Kinesis!” but Tallulah couldn’t really tell what the effect of that was. The boy shouted “Claws of the Lion!” and that had a more obvious effect – flames! He’d shot flames out of nowhere! On the video playback, Tallulah could more obviously see that the girl in gray was injured. She screamed, and then – She said something. Tallulah pumped up the volume again and replayed it. “Another senshi?! Another male senshi?! What happened to all the girls?!” Tallulah hit pause. She rewound it and played it again, just to make sure of what she’d heard. The weirdness remained. “Another senshi?! Another male senshi?! What happened to all the girls?!” She bit her lip and stopped the video. There were still another few minutes of it to go over, but so far this had proved to be the most interesting clue to turn up. She tapped a pen against her lips and repeated the word over and over, trying to place it. “Senshi, senshi, senshi, senshi.” She couldn’t place it. She didn’t think she’d ever heard it before. In fact, it didn’t even sound like English! This was getting downright weird, and what on earth was a Senshi? Tallulah smiled. It looked like there might be something worth investigating here after all.

Regular - What's a... MUN? - Tallulah and Pavel - Complete A certain rainbow-haired sophomore transfer stumbles across the Model UN table at club fair. It's a slow day, and Tallulah is determined to snag at least one new recruit. Pavel is happy to agree to anything she suggests, and by the end of the meeting, Tallulah has not only a new Russia, but also a new owner for one of her cats.
