"YESSSS!!" Akemi shouted in triumph, running over to Fushigi and scooping the Bulbasaur up into a hug. "We did it! We caught it!" The pokemon nuzzled its trainer affectionately, a little worn from the battle.
Setting the Bulbasaur back on the ground, Akemi then picked up the pokeball that held the new member of their team. Her face beaming, she turned to look at the other grunt, her eyes widening a bit.
The black Pidgey had evolved! The dark bird, now a lot bigger, looked quite astounding.
"Wow, your partner evolved?" she then called out. "He looks so cool. I've never seen a Pidgey or Pidgeotto coloured like that." The other girl didn't look very friendly, but still Akemi tried to strike up a bit of conversation.

Suddenly remembering that the other grunt was still there, Nikki stood up and merely glanced at Akemi as she tried to converse with her.
Wordlessly, she returned Darkfeather to his Pokeball, then turned and proceeded to leave. Making her way back towards headquarters.
Unfriendly was just putting it mildly really.
