Jiathyn sighed and shook his head sadly, "My uncle left and my father became the leader.. but they were attacked and forced out of the valley. My dad doesn't talk about it much, but a lot of our kin died and he still can't even find his sister.. he married my mother soon afterwards. So no.. I'm not one."

Expierence nodded in understanding, "Well you're still a great lion to me. That was the first thing I got when I saw you," she smiled trying to cheer him up. She met his eyes for a brief moment, and turned over on her back just because she felt like it. "Anyways, do you know if there's anything fun to do around here" she was trying to change the subject. Seeing people sad, or anything but happy made her feel guilty. Expierence didn't know why, but it stuck there for days.

"I... dunno what to say..." And I'm not sure why you'd think that anyhow... He thought to himself as a small frown washed over his face. "Fun? I'm not exactly the best..." Immediately being interrupted, a bright cheery voice boomed before he could finish his statement, "Fun? Him knowing anything fun? Makes me laugh. My brother is a little bit of a... gloomy guy." With a giggle, the black lioness jumped on top of her brother, her arms wrapping around him from behind as she laid her chin against his shoulder. "I can show you a better time before he can." She gave a quick wink in the girl's direction.

Expierence had to laugh at the sight of them, "Gloomy? Nah, he just needs to loosen up a bit," she watched the dark colored female and noted the glowing moon on her forehead. It matched Jiathyn's pendants just about. She wanted to ask about them, but decided to wait until later. If it wasn't for the fact that they looked so similiar, she'd never had guessed they were siblings.
"I'm guessing you know where the fun is then," Expierence grinned in the female's direction. She hadn't forgotten about Jiathyn, and scooted close enough to whack at his tail playfully. "I'm Expierence, glad to meet you. . .?" she paused to wait for the female to answer.

"Fun?" A devious smirk began to find life on Koi's lips as she addressed this curious female. "Of course I know where the fun is!" She exclaimed with a bright chirp. "Its everywhere around us Silly!" A giggle came from her throat and she rolled off of Jiathyn in mid laugh.
"Oh gods..." Jiathyn thought to himself as he watched his sister's fleeting attitude. Did she have to ruin everything? He couldn't help thinking to himself as his eyes flickered over her black fur and the look of complete amusement on her face. "I... I'm sorry Expierence... this is my sister... Koiasi.."

Expierence couldn't help but to laugh a little with the black female. She rolled over onto her back and held her side with one paw. As soon as she could catch her breath, Expierence looked at Jiathyn with bright eyes. "Koiasi. . .Hmm, Koi alright with you?" she addressed Koi, turning her attention to the giggling girl. "Gosh, lauging is sure contagious. You're contagious."

Giggling, Koiasi gave a quick nod of her head, "That is my name!" She watched the two from her back, her tail wiggling around in the air above her. "So... what are you doing here with a sourpuss like my brother?"
Seeing the look, Jiathyn gave Expierence a faint smile that quickly faded at his sister's words. He wasn't that bad, was he?

Expierence nodded and rolled over onto her back. She smiled back at him and gave him a look that said, 'I'm sorry'. "I'm new to the Isle, and wanted to explore a little. Maybe meet new lions or dragons," Expierence whacked at a low hanging branch and giggled lightly. "He's not really that bad is he?" she caught the look Jiathyn had after his sister had spoken and said what he thought.

"Well... I suppose I can forgive you for being so naive then when it comes to my brother." Koi gave her a wink and then turned to stick her tongue out at Jiathyn. "He is a bit... stiff, I do say. But if you stick around me maybe we can find more entertaining hosts."
Jiathyn mumbled under his breath, "Koi.. that's enough." He growled a little and stalked past her, coming closer to Expierence. Smiling at her, he softly whispered after leaning his head close to her ear, "My sister is a little full of it... but she has her moments where she's fun."

She stopped what she was doing. Expierence wasn't sure what to say to that. Jiathyn looked to be an okay lion to her. "Stiff? I'd love to, but I'd have to turn down your offer. Sometimes a little too much fun can get out of hand," she gave a small smile and was surprised, because she hadn't seen him get up. Her attention was fully focused on Koi for a few moments. Expierence merely nodded at Jiathyn, understanding. "Well, I like both of you. So if you don't mind, I'd like to stick with you both," she gave a big toothy smile and went back to whacking at the branch.

"Whatever..." She rolled over on her side, her back turned toward the two of them as she yawned. "Maybe I'll think about finding some one else to have fun with..."
Sighing, "Do whatever you like Koi." Jiathyn stated in slight irritation. Looking down at the brightly colored lioness he stated a quick, "You sure? She can be a little... hard to accommodate at times." With a slight pull of his lips, he tossed his head in the air, his mane giving a slight ruffle before looking down at her again.

His black mane was goregous, she noticed, as she went to whack at it lightly. Expierence smiled and held in a laugh, "I'm sure. But," she got up and stalked over to Koi quietly. Once she was right by her, Expierence said, "I wouldn't mind just wandering around with you. You never know who you're going to run into, plus have you ever chased a rabbit? Those little buggers sure are quick."

When she batted his mane he smiled a little, however, when she left he sat down watching her move. His face bent into a small frown though he wasn't going to let it show to either lioness.
"Really?" Koiasi immediately rolled over on her back so she could face the girl, a sort of glee written on her maul as she giggled unexpectedly. "Of course I have!" Her nose wiggled to and fro. "Annoying little things, but they sure are fun to chase!

"Really," Expierence sat down with a grin. "I'd love it if you could show me around. I mean, I came here to meet others and to find a new home and what better lioness than you to help me!" she looked over her shoulder at Jiathyn. She'd really rather have him show her around, but she didn't want to disappoint Koi either. Expierence turned back to Koi. "I ended up nearly running into one of those things hole this morning! It gave a mighty fine chase. We'll have to team up and try catch one of them soon."

"Well, I don't really need help catching a rabbit, but if you do... I'll be sure to help." She stated with a wry grin. "If you really want some fun... try catching an antelope." Giving a quick giggle, she glanced up to see Jiathyn sitting there alone. She twisted her head to one side before bouncing up on her paws. "Well.. I'll show you around, but on the condition that you take my brother around a bit, I think he needs someone to show him how to liven up a bit." She gave Expierence a quick nudge. Koi may have been a little full of it at times, but she knew when to digress at some points to share the fun.
