Golden-Spider walks around just in time to see Fish Bones throw his head back. Peering into the bush, he counts five eggs. Plus one Fish Bones just ate. "We should leave two of the eggs. That'd be two each for us, and two for the next generation of bird." Being pleased with himself over this thought, Golden-Spider takes and egg, following the green buck's example on how to eat it.

"Oundz goo." Fish Bones says, or tries too as his mouth is full of his second egg. Finishing that one, he spits the shell beside the first. Then he walks partway round the bush to start to graze. "Mmm, the berries are sweet and juicy." He declares between mouthfuls.

After finishing his second egg, Golden-Spider starts to graze, careful not to disturb the nest. Not being a picky eater, he takes berries and foliage with each bite.

After half a dozen or so mouthfuls of berries, Fish Bones switches to the leaves. Berry, leaf, doesn't matter to him. He just prefers to eat them separate most times.

Belly full, Golden-Spider wanders away from the bush. Looking at the sky, he notes it's almost dark. "It's later then I thought.. Should we rest now and start back up in the morning?" Waiting for the other buck's reply, Golden-Spider looks around for a comfortable spot to sleep.

He looks up, chewing thoughtfully on some leaves. Swallowing them, he replies. "That'd probably be best." Fish Bones sticks around the bush for a few more mouthfuls, then heads over to his nest. Well the beginnings of it, it's still just a pile of leaves and mosses. "It's not as cozy as a cave or den, but the leaves are soft, and it's big enough for two." Fish Bones lays down, back legs tucked close to his sides, front legs tucked in as much as possible, watching the gold buck.

Golden-Spider nods, laying down on his side, legs curled in a bit. "Thank you.. So tell me, I mean, if it's alright, about this pond in your naming dream?" He hopes he's worded that right. To the great majority, ones naming dream is special, usually only shared with great friends or close family. Golden-Spider hopes Fish Bones doesn't think he's asking for the telling of his naming dream, just what the pond looks like.

Fish Bones considers his response, choosing words carefully. "Well, I dunno, exactly. I mean, I know the general shape of it, and what is in the pond. But in my dream I never see the pond from above water, only below. He stops, bringing the images from his dream to mind. "First, there are two ponds, a large one, then a pond within a pond. That smaller pond is sorta egg shaped." Again he stops, this time to draw breath. "The larger pond, I think is more round then oval. And the inner pond has fish bones littered all along the bottom." He stops there, thinking that telling any more would be impossible with out telling the dream.

Golden-Spider closes his eyes, creating the pond in his mind. "Sounds beautiful.. But how will you get the pond in a pond effect?" He opens his eyes, looking at the area in the dim light, trying to puzzle that out.

Fish Bones sighs at the question. How indeed.. "I'm not sure. I know I'll have to build up the current pond edges, as well as the outer pond edges. Probably build this area up a bit, to have my nest on an island." He lay his head down on his legs, wondering about the water issue.

Golden-Spider suppresses a yawn. Ahh.. well you'll figure it out. Now I'mma go sleep. G'night." Laying his head down and closing his eyes, Golden-Spider drifts off, dreams full of mud, rocks and water.

Seeing the gold buck yawn, Fish Bones now has to fight his own. Finished with that, and seeing the other buck is asleep, Fish Bones simply closes his eyes, letting the night sounds carry him away.

Slowly, wakefulness come to Golden-Spider. When he opens his eyes, filtered sunlight, and Fish Bones sprawled over more then his share of the nest, reach his eyes. Getting to his feet, Golden-Spider shakes himself, as if to rid his body and mind of the last traces of sleep. Bending over Fish Bones, he nudges him with his snout. "Time to get up, lotsa work to be done."

Fish Bones groans, rolling over, as he feels someone push at him. Opening an eye, he looks up, and spots the gold Kimeti standing over him. "Okay, okay, I'm up!" The other buck's words finally penetrate Fish Bones' brain. "Only after we eat." Pulling his legs under him, and standing, Fish Bones heads to the berry bush to have his morning meal.

With a smile, Golden-Spider follows the green buck. He's about to munch on the berries, when he sees another bush. Turning, Golden-Spider goes over and inspects it. "Are these berries safe to eat?" He asks, sniffing at them.
