Deux eyed their commander, noting his temper. "The size of one's army is not what counts, it is how one utilizes their army. And I have yet to see one of these pathetic bastards utilize their force in a clever and effective manner."
Stretching her arms over her head, she continued coolly, closing her eyes and enjoying the pull of her muscles. "You could play the traditional game and send in a spy from your ranks. But that really is too expected, really is too... bland. The brotherhood isn't that stupid, unfortunately." Deux paused. "A good sum of them aren't at least." She dropped her arms before crossing them again, reaching up to tap her lower lip with one slender finger. "The spy ruse will fail unless you have the right person for the job. You would need an effective intelligence network within the brotherhood to manage everything, which is quite tedious." She looked back at the commander as she remained silent for a moment, raising a brow at a thought as it ebbed its way into her mind.
"Why is it that we cannot continue our journey without discovering what it is the Galactic Police scum knows? We could always play it as we are unaware of the supposed mine of knowledge he holds." she suggested, knowing the idea was just as irritatingly stupid as the first one, but offering it anyway.

Ara plucked the low E string on his guitar after Deux had finished asking her question. He sat there for a moment in silence, taking in the room before spitting out an idea. "How about...a decoy?" He spoke in a quiet yet confident voice this time, falling back into his quiet nature now that there were a bunch of people around. "We could have the main ship draw their attention while two or three people came up behind and snuck on board their ship. I don't think they'd expect it." He looked around for a bit, examining each person in the room, waiting for a response from someone. "Unless you don't like the idea, that's fine. I'm just trying to help." He picked up his guitar once again and began playing quieter then he had earlier, and unless you really concentrated on his general area, you wouldn't be able to hear it.

"I really don't think that would work." Deux said loftily, looking to Ara as he began to play his guitar yet again. "It's a classic move pulled by Pirates and thus it's expected. Even in the hustle and bustle, I am quite sure that they would notice if a drop ship boarded with them."
She paused and reached up to pluck at a curl that hung over her shoulder, taking in the uncomfortable silence that hung heavily about the room. "Unless you have a cloaked ship, then, it may be possible. But that is improbable, to say the least." she continued, reaching up with her other hand as she began to pull at the curl by force of habit. "I have no means to be shooting down the ideas of others, but there is one other issue; If two or three of us snuck aboard, how would we keep our presence undetectable?" she inquired, her accent thick.

Sev snapped out of his daze, processing the conversation and analyzing possible alternatives, thus coming up with an answer. "Their radars are probably designed to detect large spacecrafts," Sev began as he rose from the seat.
"Well, I can modify my inner compartment to be suitable for extended space travel for one other person. It will take some time but I have room to accommodate any one of you."

Deux sighed quietly in relief, glad no one had tried to pull the "smallest person should go" card, looking down for a moment, her hands stilling before she released the curl they had been playing with.
"Approval is needed before we can have Sev messin' with himself to fit Mistress and launching them both out into the black. And Takuto, where are your suggestions, hmm?" Deux looked to their leader yet again, still unable to side with the fact that their commander was younger than she was, annoyance bubbling in the back of her mind.
Huffing quietly and rolling her eyes, she walked over to the conference table and sat down atop it, crossing her legs lazily and leaning back on her hands as she eyed the Flying V above the telly. Lord, what a waste...

Sev turned to Deux. "Logical. I am fully capable to modify my schematics. However, If Commander Takuto says otherwise, I am forced to oblige. Mistress' size would also allow for extensive modifications to suit any interstellar combat or even a C.L.O.A.K v.12 module." He floated over to the door, turning to wait on Ara's orders. "Give the word, sir."

Looking around the room as people thought up ideas before thinking up one that was rather decent enough. A hand resting on the edge of the large seat as he watched ideas being passed about the room before something relatively decent hit the table. A small ship would be detectable, but it would be a curious scenario to see a two person team enter from the flank while a big enough disruption took the attention of the Police force. Deux seemed a bit of a nay-sayer, but her points were a tad valid as she turned her attention on him for a moment and asked where his suggestions were.
"I asked for your suggestions...I had concepts of my own but letting you all get some preliminary work down puts things more into focus. It's more fun to let you all run the dialogue anyway...I don't have to do much to spur you on, you just go on your own. Heh."
He said with a hint of jest in his tone as he looked to the girl and followed her gaze to the replica guitar he had above the television. His eyes fixated on it for a moment, but didn't dwell there for very long before he finally looked back to the group and slid back into his seat with a couple of his fingers resting over his left eye as he began thinking carefully. As fun as it was to leave things in the hands of the crew, the final word was his and his alone.
Wrapping his mind around the scenario, he could see several possible outcomes of several plans moving into fruition. With so many variables about, he knew they'd be acting in the dark for now but it was fun to always have a plan set with minor alterations with every new detail discovered. His golden gaze stopped scanning from person to person in the room before he finally turned and fixed his gaze on his guitar once more.
"All of your ideas have been duly noted...at present, it seems too boring to simply sit around and do nothing and I'm rather curious as to what this person knows. But at the same time...we need more information before being more precise with our actions...I wouldn't want to send Sev and Mistress into a situation where I don't know any details aside from a name.
In the meantime, we'll temporarily divert information gathering processes to researching information about this Brotherhood. I want specifics on forces, if they possibly know anything we do not based on their past and present actions, and whatever you can scrounge up. If there's anything to learn about them, I want to know as much as I can before they become a pain in my butt...I'm not expecting to start a war, but I'm damn well going to leave a mark on them they won't soon forget. Once we have enough information, we'll begin preparations for deployment as soon as possible with Sev and Mistress operating as point insertion operatives."
Spending a bit of time watching shows like Ghost in the Shell and military programs at least seemed to rub off somewhat as Takuto spoke as he brought his hand from its position over his eye and down to his chin. At present, he knew they weren't too much closer to Atomsk than where they'd started...so keeping tabs on the police would at least determine whether or not they were on the same starting tile or not. It was more like he was setting himself up to make a move one way or another...if they knew about the pirates, it was a valid enough assumption that the police should at least have some inkling as to the existence and present movements of the pirates. Either way, they'd know soon enough whom they were dealing with...of that much, Takuto was going to be sure.

Sev's screen gave a flash of exitement when he was refered to as a point insertion operative. The sound of the title gave him an inkling of pride in his work; strange due to his incapability of processing emotions. "Who will be sent?"

Mistress was happy with pride that she would be able to go on a mission with Sev. She turned to the Commander with a smile.

"May I note that there are several flaws with the birthing of this thing we've called a plan so far?" Deux inquired haughtily, leaning her head back to deride her eyes upon the crew, her bangs falling over the left one. "Everything is valid and all well and dandy, but, knowing first had that this cannot be done so simply, you cannot just go about sending the both of them into the base even if they are cloaked with what little information you can dig out of their system."
Deux leaned forward and braced her legs on the seat below them, resting her forearms on her thighs and staring at the lot, her eyes going bloody red. "A cloak, even the most modern, can only last for so long. Once it wears off, where would it be that you would hide? Aliases, valid ones, are needed, as are uniforms and a thorough knowing of how the bastards work, just in case all does not go how we wish it to." She felt her anger boiling up at the thought of the Space Police, struggling to keep it free of her voice and judgment as she spoke, fisting her hands and ignoring the sting in her palms as her nails drove into the soft flesh. She exhaled quietly, stifling a growl.
Deux turned her head to Sev and eyed the machine, one of her blonde brows perking at him. "They have infrared sensors designed to detect cloaked intruders, and I know the v.12 doesn't have any advancements over that sweet little trick the Police have woven into their hive. Get yourself one of the newer versions and perhaps you will return to us lacking harm. Also, they have facial recognition equipment. So if either one of you has a record with them, don't go. This is not something you can go about for leaving marks and drawing your bloody ideas from silly little things you see on the telly, it does not work, I have tried at it. The plan generally fails every time.
"And, if one of you is captured or discovered by them, then the plan goes up in flames and they will know how much of a threat we really are. A... truly deplorable result..." Deux stood up on the bench of the table and looked out over the group before shaking her head and stepping from it, dropping to the floor quietly. "I'll be about if needed, but don't expect me to come trotting back so soon as you would like."

Sev's screen gave off static interference at the mention of a record with the space police. "Understandable Deux," pausing for a second, a series of beeping noises sounding of within his mainframe. "A sutiable solution is if I activate Code Purple. With this programming, I could disassemble into junk parts and reassemble at will. If someone could launch my parts in their direction, I could pass radars as usless, harmless trash. Someone would also, however, have to send a homing signal at my remains to activate the secondary process. That would be the only risk. If they trace the origin of the electromagnetic pulse. Nonetheless, the pulse could come from everywhere and does not require to be a significant strength. This plan would also elude the discovery of our knowledge for they do not know with who I am sideing with. I have no record either."
A ding rang and Sev's chestplate pops open. "Cookies are ready," he exclaimes as he pulls a tray of chocolate chips from his inner oven.

Mistress began to play with her bunny while she heard everyone's ideas. Then she stopped when she heard Sev's idea.
" That could be useful if or when we decide to go on the mission, but how would I hide from them. Unless I dress up in one of their uniforms but then that would be expected too."
She began to play with her bunny again as she thought of a solution to her problem. Then she stopped playing with her bunny and looked up.
"I could try to recruit myself with the Brotherhood seeing as they have no record of me. And use the information I find to aid us in our search."

"Once inside, I could deactivate their radars or shutdown their power supply completely. That should buy enough time to infiltrate without blowing or cover. They would presume it was just a power outage." Sev carried the tray to the table. He then dusted off his long sleeves from the crumbs, vacuuming the remains off the floor with his feet.

(I have been looking in here everyday since I last posted, and not a single other person has replied since Pyro! And I changed some of Deux profile.)
Deux stopped halfway down the hallway, reaching up to cup her hand to her eyes, shaking her head. She looked back at the group, lifting her bangs from her face to watch Sev move his feet about, rolling her eyes.
"You know, if this plan of yours really works, I'll be amazed." she told them with a mocking smile, laughter lurking in her voice as she sauntered back to them, arm arms crossed and pulled across her middle. "I don't think I've met a crazier lot of people in a good 50 years. It's amusing."
