XellosRei I don't really think the age of a timelord is relevant to our time structure. It's a bunch of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff. Or how ever that quote goes. It's not too relevant except when it gets mentioned on the show. xd Then we all theorize on how much the Doctor is actually off by. mrgreen

I think he just makes up his age. I mean, really, if you were traveling through time and space all the time, how would you be able to keep track of your age in Earth years? That's assuming his 900+ years are actually Earth years to begin with.

It kind of makes sense that she's there to see off the tenth doctor since he practically revolved around her, but that should be the end of her. Personally, out of the three companions of the tenth doctor, I think Donna was the best and what happened to her was so depressing. I balled my eyes out more when she was written out than when Rose first got separated from the Doctor. At least there were always possibilities of him reuniting with Rose, but unless Donna mysteriously regains her memories, her entire time with him is now only part of his memories and she loses all the "growing-up" that she did with him. It's like she started to evolve into a better and wiser person, but now she's back to square one. At least Rose still gets to come and go and retains all of her memories... and she has her own private doctor to boot! Like I originally said, I don't mind her being there for the send-off, but after that, she should be done. (Personally, I think all three should be there for the send off - with Jack Harkness and Sarah Jane as well.)

I agree. Personally I think that Jack, Donna, Martha, and Sarah Jane. Should be there . Well maybe not Donna partly because the whole thing about her dying if she remembers. And if they do find some way around that then why wouldnt she travel with the doctor again meaning there would be no need for a new female companion. Also I think the Doctor Should have more Male companions so far he has only had (in the New Series): Adam (if you can count him, Micky and Jack. Not alot there look at the old series, He had so many. He had : Ian Chesterton, Steven Taylor, Ben Jackson, Jamie McCrimmon, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, Sergeant Benton, Captain Mike Yates, Harry Sullivan, Adric, & Vislor Turlough.
That is 10 Male Companions in the old series. Not many of them lasted very long but I think we should give equil rights here not just have it that The Doctor Has women always in the TARDIS. Who is with me?

Well, the new Doctor has had 3 male companions and 3 female companions, I'd have to say that's pretty fair. AND there was 1 not really a companion of each sex in the specials.

Who is with me? The Doctor is male. The way the show is, it's trying to cater to guys too, and it helps when there's a female companion. (See: fanservice) Also, girls like being able to identify with someone who isn't an angsty Timelord. smile

I don't mind it, I was really looking forward to Rose coming back in the last season but I found the whole finale kind of a disappointment - they could have done something really poignant and final, but they sort of... packed too much in for it to really mean anything. I know this won't exactly be a ending to Rose's story, but at least it's something.
Steven Moffat doesn't like the character anyway so I doubt we'll be seeing much/any more of her after this. xx

miserabelle I know this won't exactly be a ending to Rose's story, but at least it's something. Rose had her ending with Season 2. And then she persisted and got an even better ending (your opinion may vary) in Season 4. miserabelle Steven Moffat doesn't like the character anyway so I doubt we'll be seeing much/any more of her after this. xxHe doesn't? I've never heard that although I haven't been keeping up with interviews and such lately. Only thing I can think of is that almost all of Ten's episodes that he wrote involve a romantic interest that wasn't Rose. xd

I think Its going to take the Rose Character to die for them to finally say that she is never coming back. And it doesn't surprised that Steve doesn't like Rose. I didn't mind her is most episodes but others she was such a whiner and it ticked me off. And even when she wasn't in the show she still got mentioned in almost every episode of season 3. then in season 4 she got shown in alot of episodes. nothing major but she was still there. Then they had to cause that Freaking False Regeneration with the 10th Doctor to create 10.5 ( or what ever hes called) to make this stupid story where Rose gets a Doctor to live with in the Parallel universe which is human so she can have kids and what not with him. This was so stupid. Leave it to Russel T. Davis to screw with the Doctor Who Regeneration laws (which were set down in the OG series) Now saying that timelords (if have a severd hand) Can hold off Regeneration by putting the energy into it. Originally if a Time lord was going to Regenerate it was they would ether refuse regeneration and die or they would Regenerate. This was stupid , and all because RTD wanted Rose to have a better ending >_<.

Why is there now so much hate for this character >.> This Rose is
SPOILER ALERT:
The Rose before she met the Doctor so she knows nothing about him.
I would also think this is Billie's way of seeing off her best friend from Doctor who. heart
