When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief. Pale gold eyes watched a dark haired boy move around the shelves, probably only a little older than the owner of the eyes in appearance. A wicked grin on his face as he set his chin on his linked fingers, elbows braced against the top of the book shelf. An old fashioned hat was tipped to partially conceal his gaze as the pair got further and further apart. When the dark haired one had made it deep enough into the labyrinth of shelves he passed under where the blonde was sprawled he made his move.
Eyes dancing in delight he shifted his gaze towards one of the books on the top shelf, the author too good to pass up for his intended purpose. He always loved when the new students came back. They were so clueless. The heavy bound book rocked back towards the open air, the embossed title proclaiming it an in-depth look at Ethnobotany by Elizabeth Newton.
With no movement from the watching male, it dropped heavily from the height straight towards the male below him. Because he was walking it wasn't likely that he'd get hit, but damn if he paused it was too good. Snickering and kicking a foot back and forth over his backside Kit watched the heavy object get drawn like a magnet for dark hair.
A second book rocked slightly, at about chest level for the moving male, before shooting across the gap between shelves and forcing the other to stop walking in order to have the heavier book land just to his side for full effect. If he was unconscious it wouldn't be half as damn fun. From his position he saw the librarian in her office and with a thought the heavy lock clicked without drawing her attention to the fact she was now locked in. A second later all the computers went down with a sharp snap.

"Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt."Akira browsed through the thousands of books the Bell Liberty Academy library had to offer. He had just spotted a volume he had bees interested in reading for a while, when suddenly a book shot across his path! The silent teen stopped short, he had just seen, with his own eyes, that the book had just flown across the aisle, by itself! Before another thought could pop into his mind, another book (this one much heavier-looking than the last) hit the floor about 6 inches to his left. Akira backed away from the offending book, up against the opposite shelf. He bit his lip, shocked at how close the book had come to striking his head, which he knew would have definitely knocked him out, and possibly done some even worse damage.

It's hiding in the dark, it's teeth are razor sharp,Briefly Sho shifted his attention to his room mate in time to see the quickly scrawled note, lifting a hand and waving it negligently to show he'd understood and didn't mind. The messenger beeped again and he quickly started typing out a response as the dark haired male moved into the bookshelves.
Although he wasn't getting very far with his search. There was still time as he had an entire year, he didn't much care about passing grades, he just needed to find a way out of here and into a different life. Tapping his chin he jerked when he heard a loud bang coming from deep in the isle. Frowning Sho ran a hand through his pale silver hair.
"Damn, should have made him take some damn string."he growled, seconds before the distinctive sound of computers powering down snapped his azure orbs back to his now black screen.
"What the hell?"the annoyed teen smacked a hand against the monitor, only to get nothing in response. Rolling his eyes he scooted the chair back so it rolled behind him and ducked under the desk. His gaze sliding along the wires and looking for loose connections even as his hands came up and pulled at a few likely cords. Yet everything seemed to be in perfect order. What the hell was going on here?
"Fine time to be with a damn mute. DOORMAT! The computers have gone down, I'm getting the damn librarian so don't ******** wander off too far."He raised his voice, gaining the attention of the woman in the mostly glass encased office as she shot him a sharp look and stood up. He shifted backwards to pull his way out from under the desk as she grabbed the door and jerked, only to have it stick.
There's no escape for me, it wants my soul, it wants my heart.

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief.Soft, hard to hear laughter slipped past the watching male's lips as his grin grew wider. It flashed straight white teeth in an almost predatory manner as the dark haired male jerked in response to the book, repeating it a moment later as the second book slammed into the ground beside him.
The silver haired male had gone under the desk and was poking around in the wires while the librarian seemed to have just realized she couldn't get the door open and started tugging at the knob. The dark haired male backed into a shelf watching the two books on the ground.
With a leg still swinging casually back and forth, Kit glanced at the books lining the shelf high above the male and with a loud clattered warning all of them tumbled free from their places in a paper avalanche. At about that same time the wheeled chair that the other boy had pushed out of the way decided to return to its previous position and with no regard for the male in the way slammed back against the desk.
Pale gold eyes shifted towards the librarian where she was now violently scowling at the knob that refused to move before her attention was jerked backwards by all of the papers on her desk suddenly sliding across the expanse and exploding into a paper tornado. An almost resigned look crossed her face as she huffed and stopped trying to get out of the room. Instead she crossed her arms and glared at the library at large while tapping her foot.
"Aww, no fun."Kit muttered as he dropped his gaze back to the quite boy to see how he'd avoided the tumble of released books.

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." Finally escaping from his older brother, dropping him off inside the school infirmary, he snuck into the library. He looked in amazement as he looked around for something to read. He started to flip through different fantasy books when he heard a thump. He turned to see a bookshelf falling over. He ran over there to see if anyone was hurt and noticed a strange blonde boy.
'He seems to be laughing at this...' Yukio thought as he checked for injuries on the black haired boy. "Excuse me are you okay?" asked the white-hair boy, smiling gently."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..." ((There has to be a reason for white haired boy. He has a sixth sense!))

The air turned colder wherever the faint shadow moved, his insubstantial body drawing energy from the heat, the presence, the life of the school, sustaining him. A smile made of sunlight and swirling dust brushed from the older books curled on Nick’s lips, amusement dancing behind blue eyes. His brother’s mischief had drawn him there and he’d been more or less content to watch the show. He knew Kit, knew the boy was a bit rough but wouldn’t aim to actually hurt anyone. Of course just because you weren’t aiming a gun didn’t mean you couldn’t accidentally hit someone with it by chance. His brother was, quite literally, never going to grow up.
Apparently Kit was trying to make up for the boredom he’d suffered over the summer. Nick had spent about half of the summer ‘asleep’ or at least dormant. The school always seemed to provide less energy when there weren’t people running around. The drama from the students, the teachers, the simple daily activities was the heart of the school. And for decades that heart had been beating in place of Nick’s own. The boy’s body was lying somewhere underground, discarded and probably stripped bare of flesh.
He looked much the same as he had at his death though, minus the blood that had been soaking into his shirt during the final moments. Blonde hair that matched Kit’s hung layered around his face and neck, getting in his eyes whenever he lowered his head. His eyes were blue and a bit of a sore spot with him. Once he’d been proud to share the rare color with his father. Now he was only glad he didn’t appear in mirrors and have to be reminded of that connection.
“Kit…” he said, trying to sound disapproving and failing miserably. Could he help it if he shared his sibling’s twisted sense of humor? He paused, the faint smile on his lips lingering. His eyes scanned the room and puzzlement crossed his features. For a moment he thought that white haired student had actually looked at Kit. Nick was so used to seeing people’s focus drift right past them that it caught his attention. No. It had to have been a simple coincidence.
He considered how best to distract his brother. Promise of bigger mischief perhaps. “You know, this school really ought to pay more attention to the plumbing,” he sighed, doing his best to use the tone of voice one usually reserves for idle conversation about the weather. “For example, there’s a pipe loose under the water fountain out in the hall. If they’re not careful, a good well place kick will likely flood the entire hallway and half the classrooms before they notice. A giant slip’n’slide. Those poor people.”

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief.A new player rushed over to help the dark haired toy, drawing gold eyes like a magnet as his grin increased at getting to have one more person to play with. Unlike his brother, Kit hadn't slept through any of the off season. He'd never been able to calm down enough for it. So he was always a touch rougher at the start of school than the end when he'd had enough to do to keep him occupied.
The sound of his name drew his attention over towards another figure, as solid to him as the bookshelves, as his brother scanned the room. Because he'd looked over at that moment he missed the white haired boy's look. A second leg joined his first and now both were swinging back and forth over the reclined boy's back as he settled his chin on his crossed fingers and watched his brother's progress. When he commented about the school paying attention to the plumbing his grin increased in an almost sadistic manner.
"Hot damn."Kit laughed lightly, vanishing into the bookshelf only to appear on the ground a moment later walking towards his brother and adjusting his hat jauntily. None the worse for wear for his sudden height adjustment. The younger male tipped his head slightly to get a better look at his brother who was a little over a head taller than him, his gold orbs matching his delighted grin.
"Knew there was a reason I kept you around. Race ya!"the younger male shouted this as soon as he'd kicked off, taking all the advantage he needed. He didn't worry about the people in the library as the polter activity stopped. No one could ever see them unless they wanted it anyway, and with an excited 'woop' he moved on to the next prank. This one sounding a hell of a lot more fun than just messing with the library. Half the classrooms? His brother was the best!

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." Yukio let him go, beliving he wasn't injured and was just a little shooken up. He looked back up to the two guys floating and made up some guesses. Either they were annoying kids with magical powers, like Harry Potter, or they were spirits. Whatever they were, they weren't going to get away with what they did. Just as he was about to shout at them, he overheard their conversation.
'Flood half the classrooms?!' he thought. Yukio bit his thumb slightly. That can't be good. He noticed no one around saw the two boys and had to assume they were spirits. And since they can't try and stop what they can't see, Yukio had to do it. Not as if he wanted too, but knew he probably was the only one who could stop that disaster. Sighing heavily he waited til they more likely wouldn't notice he'd seen them and followed quickly but quietly after them, trying to make himself look a little subtle while in pursuit."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..." ((For some odd reason I couldn't resist the harry potter thing. Don't know why xd ))

A loud click is heard as the intercom system flares to life under the control of a voice that speaks a moment later. It's an extremely happy voice belonging to a heavy set male in his late fifties and filled with enough excitement and cheer to drown in.
Attention Students! This is your principle speaking. I just want to welcome you all to a brand new year at Bell Liberty Academy. I'm sure you'll all have a wonderful time at our fine school and grow academically before we part. We, the teachers and staff, want to welcome you to our world.
Classes will be starting in about twenty minutes, so I advice all students who don't wish to receive an early detention to please make your way to classes. The west hall has been flooded in an unfortunate accident so the 8th grade home room class is going to be held in room 63 today, please note the change 8th graders.
Again, welcome to our wonderful school and do your best! My door is always open if you wish to talk about anything and our friendly staff is more than happy to help. Enjoy your stay and work hard and we will all enjoy a wonderful year.
And then the voice cut off.

A low pitched purr signals seconds before the lights flare into life throughout the campus. Only slightly bright in the morning light because of the clouds over head. A second or two later and the click of the intercom signals the principle's announcement.
Good morning students!
As you can see the power has been restored in the building. As such all classes will be resumed per usual. We want to thank you all for being so wonderful last night during the troubles and as a special treat extra desserts are being served with lunch today. I suggest you stop by and try it because the cake is just WONDERFUL!
On another note we will be holding our 10th annual Welcoming Party this evening at three until six. All students are of course invited and food, drinks, and music will be provided. It's a special chance to make life long friends here at Bell Liberty and I look forward to seeing you all there.
Also, if the unpaid students would be so kind as to refrain from shutting off the main generators in the future I would be much obliged.
And then the voice cut off.

I want you all to look at me. LOOK at ME keep your eyes here i want to be just once, the center of someone's world
-------------------------------------------------------- Yuuki passed into the library while he was searching for that darn principal. He had no idea where he was going particularly, but he knew he would find it eventually. He sat down for a moment to take a break and wait for the teachers to get out of the hallways. He didn't want to be caught before he got his mission over with. This was too much of a pain really, but he would deal with it.
((it's been too long since i've used you, dear Yuuki...i hope i can still do your personality justice))

He took a tiredly look around the room before he fully recognized where he was. His mind was really fuzzy on the details and such of the past and such, but that didn't stop him from looking around. In any case, he didn't want to stay in the room any longer. He hated anything that had to do with the medical room and just ran out, despite his condition. Going into his dorm room he stopped and changed clothes so he didn't look as ridiculous as his brother made him and decided going into the library. Maybe a little reading'll make me feel a little better.
He entered the library to go and look for a book. However what he found was a disturbing sight...To anyone, that person looked like a female...but unfortunately for him, he knew that that wasn't the case with this person. It wasn't as if he had a problem with crossdressers, it's just that one was enough for him. He took steps backwards slowly backing out of the area.

-------------------------------------------------------- A very flustered looking boy came in briefly, but then started to back away. Yuuki realized the boy was looking at him. He had the boy's complete attention for the moment....Yuuki was curious as to what on earth was wrong with the boy, but most of all he knew he had the boys eyes, and wanted to press the advantage there as much as possible. sure, yuki would prefer it if he were liked, but negative attention WAS attention. "are you all right? you don't look to well, how about you come over and rest a bit? Let me check your temperature" Yuuki said, quickly gaining ground as he approached the boy. He knew from the boy's expression and backing away that this would cause an effect, he just wished to know which effect he would cause.the feeling was not unlike someone being given a wrapped box on Christmas.

-------------------------------------------------------- Yuuki almost checked his temperature, but pulled his hand back quickly remembering the bandages. It would not be good to gross the poor kid out. "Why not sit down for a little while. I think it would be better for you". Yuuki said, wrapping his arm around the other boy's and trying to guide him back to a circle of chairs in the middle of the library. "My name's Yuuki, what's yours?" It was obvious he was making this kid nervous. He liked it.
