"It's not for another 3 hours or so," Henri said gently, not wanting her to think that he was rescinding his offer, "I mean, you're free to come with us if you'd like, but it's certainly not required." Although she had kind of sounded like she wanted to, hadn't she? Yet another surprise.
"Ummm," Izzy thought, putting a finger to her lip, "Eidur!"

"That's fine." Rene said. "If you'd like I can leave and come back later."
"Hmmm. Somethin' with water." Zach decided. "We both likes it."

Henry suddenly turned to Zach.
"An amusement park just opened down in Durem. They have a water park."
"YES!" Izzy cheered, laughing. That was a special thing! She'd never been to a 'musement park!
Henry turned back to Rene then.
"You're totally welcome to come. Pardon me for assuming, but it doesn't seem like you get out to have fun all that often."

An amusement park? That sounded fun! Zach smiled. Then, he was nosy.
"Rene's boring. Always boring!" Working or doing stupid stuff and coming home different.
"I've got weird tastes."

"Well, it's up to you," Henri shrugged, "I'm going to need a swimsuit for Zach. I mean, I probably have something of mine he could use, but it'd be huge." No doubt. Muscular men tended to be larger than little jelly-boys.

"I keep a pair of trunks for him in the car. I drop him off at the ocean sometimes."
That didn't sound right, rene.

Henri knew what she meant. He actually managed a little snort of laughter.
"Well, why don't you go grab them while I get Izzy's, and when you come back in, you can decide if you're coming or not." So off he went, up tehstairs to get one of Izzy's many bathing suits.
Izzy looked to Zach and smiled.
"Hab you ever been to a 'musement park?"

"Nope." Zach shook his head. Excited! "I'm not good in public. Don't getta go!"
Rene came back in with Zach's ocean bag shortly enough, putting it over one shoulder. "Sure. I've never been."

Henri had already come back and grinned, nodding.
"I'll introduce you to the wonderful world of amusement parks. We can work a way around having to watch the kids, I'm sure." He always saw toddlers running rampant alone in worse places.
"Be good dis tiem?" Izzy asked calmly. It wouldn't be good if he stung random people and someone had to pee on their faces. She'd heard that that was what people did when they got stung by jellyfish, and that was really gross.

It was what they did. "Sounds like... Fun." Rene made a bit of a face. Sure. Different fun.
"Be good if everyone else is." Zach said, nodding. Yep!

"Kay!" Izzy said. That sounded like a good deal. She wasn't sure she'd be good if nobody else was either!
Henri completely ignored the face Rene made and led them out to the car, packing up and then heading off the the park. Unsurprisingly, it seemed to be owned by the Gambino family, not because of the innocuous name of "Grunny Park", but the fact that the mascot was indeed Gino Gambino with a Grunny shirt and hat. A rollercoaster towered off to one side. Laughter and screams echoed from the park. Children and their parents wandered around the parking lot, some going and some coming.
Henri was unreasonably excited. He hadn't been to an amusement park since he was so very much younger.

Zach was pretty excited too. OMG YAY.
"Gambino." Rene shook her head. Grunnies. She remembered those little ******** spreading all sorts of trouble. And now they had a park named after them. "You lead the way."

Henri hadn't had much of a problem with grunnies on the beach. Only two had made it up over the rocks to the lighthouse, and neither had been able to squirm their way through the heavy metal door. He had had no problems.
When they reached the ticket counter, the unfortunate worker behind the glass was wearing the same clothing as the mascot, and she looked so very unhappy. The ticket booth must be sweltering. Being a gentleman (and having a coupon for one free adult ticket he'd gotten in the mail), Henri purchased the tickets and held Izzy up to get her hand stamped. The woman behind the glass stared expectantly at Zach.
"Is it okay if I help you up?" Henri asked. He had been stung by many jellyfish. He didn't want to learn the pain of a Man O' War.

Zach puffed up his cheeks slighty. NO.
Rene scooped him up and pulled back the tendril on his hand. "Be careful with him." She advised. "I've built up an immunity."

Zach got his stamp quickly, and then the girl pulled back. So that was a jellyfish kid. Alright then! She unlocked the turnstile before them and motioned for them to go through. Henri, struck with the enormity of the place, wandered only a few dozen feet, and then stared in.
"So. What do we do first?"
"Hmmmm..." Izzy reasoned.
