“You don’t have to thank me. This is my job,” he pointed out the obvious, idly wondering why people always felt compelled to thank him. Alright, so Cordel had to admit… it was nice to be recognized for doing a good job, but he didn’t need constant validation. Well, whatever. Maybe he was just getting used to W’ten never thanking him or something. He waved his hand, the universal gesture for ‘forget about it’.
“Yes, of course. If that oil doesn’t work out, you can bring her right back here.” Hm. Next time, he hoped La would be there too. Before she worked on dragons, he wanted to let her work with firelizards for a while. It would be good training, he thought.

"Than-" she cut herself off, he said she did not have to thank him, although she felt very grateful to the dragonhealer, plus he did not seem like a bad guy. Perhaps, she thought, I'll stop in to see him again, it's always nice to have friends.
Ahoy twittered her own thanks to the nice human and clung to hers happily, perhaps her human would be nice and rub good smelling things on her. Ahoy liked her human, but sometimes she did not understand things that the green wanted to convey.
"We'll be seeing you," she stepped toward the door hoping for a dismissal from the healer, she did not want to be completely rude, asking his services and dashing. Waiting for a moment and seeing that he was already returning to his work she bowed her head, "Bye." and turned on her heels out of his office.
