"So it can't hurt us. That's good." Nia's smile came back despite the itchy feeling that seeing a spider gave her. "Useful, hmm? That's a nice piece of information." She nodded slowly, "I guess they kill lots of insects and-" She looked at the size of the thing, "Some mice and such?"
Nia couldn't help but to softly laugh. This one really did love stuff that others would be revolted by. Dead animals however the leopardess was okay with. Vaguely she remembered the lioness that had passed out after some teasing with a dead rabbit. "That's interesting, A'kigeni." Her claws dug lazily into the branch as she looked around, "Though you have to be careful with some dead animals, especially if they've been dead for a while."

"Of course not. You're not small enough for him to eat. I'd be much more worried if you were say... a rat." A'k said thoughtfully, tapping his chin as the spider crawled up onto his head, and he ignored it, "Or perhaps a hare. That would be complicated."
He tilted his head further, "Why would I worry about a dead animal? That seems a little silly. It can't hurt me, and I don't eat them. That's disrepectful you see. It's all for science as far as I'm concerened!" And if it was for science, then it was for the greater good and there was nothing wrong with that!
(Sorry this took so long XD I thought I replied)

Nia actually grinned. "Well then I'm really glad to not be either a rat or hare." Her tail swayed behind her in amusement. What a child.
Her head tilted to the side as she listened. A slight hint of amazement flickered in her eyes before she blinked, "Ah. Science?" She asked calmly, "I guess it really does drive you, A'kigeni. That's really cool!" Nia paused, "Have you learned anything yet though from your studies?"
(xD That's alright. I was slow replying myself. D: )

"I've learned a ton!" A'k said, completely thrilled by her interest, "I can track a whole bunch of bugs and spiders, I know what they eat, and when I pull them apart I can learn how thet all work! It's really cool, I can show you if you want!" He declared, practically jumping at the chance.
But then he heard something, a voice in the distance. His mother. And it wasn't just her calling him, this was her getting worried and calling him. That kind of panic meant that someone had left her alone, and that meant his dad would be angry.
"Oh... I can hear my mom calling me Princess." A'k looked up at her, "But it's been fun playing! I hope that we can do it again some time!" And with that, he lept from the tree and headed home. He couldn't let dad get mad... even if it did get in the way of his science.
(I suck, I'm so sorry I left this so long. I'm ready to finish off here if you are XD Sorry again for the wait)

Nia's interest was actually perking up. To be able to see what goes on the inside of insects may have sounded gross, but something about it nearly intrigued her. What a dilemma. The leopard looked up and about answered when something else made the decision.
The cub's mom was calling.
Good. Nia smiled warmly. "Aye. Be careful A'kigeni!" She called out after him before turning away. With a soft laughter the leopardess melted into the shadows and returned to her rogue land wanderings.
((xD It's okay again. And now it's finished~ ))
