Vinny returned the hug, and gave her a smile. He was like her brother? He supposed that was a good position. Yes, that was good enough for him. "I'll be a good brother." He said, with a nod. Not the best, but still good.
Adhara. He knew that name. "Aludra's sister?" He asked.

'Zuba smiled, glad that Vincent didn't seem too upset. "Good." she said, smiling. She then nodded. "Yeah. 'Ludra's her little brother." she confirmed, her tone light.

Vinny's smile faded. How could she like Ludra's older sister? She'd seemed groucy and mean when he'd gone to give her presents after having Adelle. "Oh... that's nice." He commented. "I'm happy for you."

'Zuba frowned a bit, looking at Vincent. "Wrong?" she asked, noticing as the smile slowly vacated. Had she said something wrong? She tilted her head to the side, waiting for his answer. She had no idea what the boy was thinking.

Vinny sighed as he looked to his friend. He hung his head, and stared at his feet. "Everyone's stealing people from me." He muttered. "Nataya's stolen Josh.. Even if she doesn't know it.. Sammi and Reiya stole mom and dad--and now Adhara's got you." He gave another sigh. Possessive child was possessive.
It broke his heart to lose something (or someone) that he'd claimed as his. 'Zuba would always be his--even if it was only as a sister. He would be content with that.

'Zuba wasn't sure what to say, so she just patted the boy on the shoulder. "'S....'s okay. Will be fine. You'll see." she said, trying to comfort her friend. She felt a bit guilty, but what could she do? Lying wouldn't solve anything.
She then looked at him, reaching over lift his chin with her finger. "Cheer up?" she said, offering a small smile. It was unnatural to see Vincent being so....unhappy.

Vinny managed a smile, and hugged his friend. "I hope so." He said. "Maybe things will go back--to the way they were before. Maybe.. Maybe people'll stop stealing from me." He hoped so, though he wasn't vain enough to think that was what would really happen. People seemed to like doing that to him, make him feel bad. Even if they didn't know they were doing it..
He would try to be happy. For 'Zuba. He would. "Want to play a game or something?" He asked.

"Maybe. Have to hope, right?" she said softly, offering a small smile. She blinked at the hug, but smiled a little. She did feel bad, but at least he seemed to be taking it well. That was good, right?
Azubahiel smiled, nodding. "Sure. Play what?" she asked, hopping off the jungle gym. Maybe things could go back to how they used to be...
