It was a new day. Claude circled around his new sinewy, lanky, all around adolescent charge with a faint grin. He nosed out his wing and inspected the muscles for a moment, careful to keep any sounds of approval to himself. Finally he stood before the new adult and smiled. Somehow he knew this day woudl come soon rather than later. Dhanny's dedication and persistence surpassed his other students only because Claude was teaching him what he was born to know. And now here he was, about ready to graduate his very first student. His heart felt swollen in his chest with pride. "My dear boy, I do believe you are ready."
