Shade waited quietly out in the lobby for one or both of the older males to return. During that time, he pondered whether or not he really should try this little idea - being with him would certainly endanger both Verdant and Dorian, which was something that the impling didn't want to do. Verdant wanted to do this though, and Dorian seemed to be at least willing to give it a shot, so...maybe it wouldn't turn out too badly. He was probably kidding himself but...he still wanted to try.

The boy looked up quickly as he heard Verdant and Dorian come back into the room and blinked as the oldest of the three took a seat across from him with Verdant in his lap. He nodded slowly as Dorian said that he wanted to lay down some rules - honestly, this relationship was probably going to NEED rules if it was going to succeed. He was completely willing to help with deciding what days would be best for them to see each other on, as he had school while both Dorian and Verdant had to work. As for the second one, it was probably a good idea...both of the older men would have to be careful of what they did to him. He doubted that he'd be doing much with Dorian for a while anyway - even if they ended up liking each other eventually, they'd only just met.

The impling blinked as Dorian mentioned that he'd be able to call him anytime and that he'd be able to use the apartment. He nodded again and smiled a bit at the offer. "O-Okay." He'd remember that for if he ever needed it. A look of confusion came over the boy's face as Dorian said that Verdant wasn't allowed to discuss 'her'. As curious as the boy was, Shade knew better than to ask. Dorian had just said that he didn't want to discuss her and the boy would make sure to keep away from the topic, whatever it happened to be about. He didn't want to upset the older man, after all.

Shade thought for a few moments, wracking his brain for anything he might need to throw into the discussion. He thought of mentioning that they should keep away from his mother, but he was fairly certain that these two already knew to steer clear from her - he might be able to get away with telling her that Verdant was a friend, but there was no way that he'd ever let him hang out with someone of Dorian's age. Another thought came to mind, one which he thought might be a good idea to mention.

"If...I h-have to meet e-either of you a-after school, it...m-might be a good i-idea to do it a w-ways away f-from the s-school g-grounds. That w-way, the t-teachers w-won't get s-suspicious." He scratched the back of his head as he watched the two older males - had his suggestion been a good one? He hoped so - he hadn't exactly been contributing much to the conversation and he hoped that this one thought would be a good one for them to keep in mind.

Verdant's face couldn't have been any redder than it was now; Dorian had him in his lap with his arms around him. Verdant wasn't used to being the pathic one in a relationship, but he wasn't really complaining, was he? Hell, he was getting pretty comfortable sitting on Dorian's lap! Deciding that he was very comfortable (as were the others, he hoped), Verdant listened intently to Dorian and Shade's rules.

The first rule was a given; a schedule was a fine idea, though Verdant was feeling pretty sheepish now. Dorian wanted him all the time? Was it bad that it was making him giddy and happy on the inside? Verdant decided against saying anything about this rule.

The second rule was pretty damn important; without it, would they even stand a chance of making this work? He had already decided that physical affection with Shade would have to be kept to a minimum outside of the walls of Elysian Gardens, but knowing that they could go to Dorian's home and... be intimate... was a reprieve.

The third rule was probably the most important of them all. Verdant had yet to bring her up at all since he found out about her and that was not about to happen anytime soon- especially not after that look Dorian gave him.

Shade's suggestion was brilliant as well. "That is a good point, Shade. The last thing we need is some nosy teacher calling your mother and asking why an older man was waiting for you outside the school."

Verdant then frowned a bit, realizing that Dorian should know about just how physical he'd been with the impling... "Um... well, Shade and I... we've had sex once before. It wasn't in some seedy hotel or anything (no, it was in my best friend's shower), but I just thought that you should know..." Verdant... he didn't regret having been Shade's first time, but he did feel pretty ******** rotten for having waited this long to tell Dorian. Maybe he'd believe him when he told him about a certain Essentic who had persuaded him to go through with it?

Dorian nodded calmly to both Shade's rule of not going near the school (not like he would anyways) and Verdant's admission to sleeping with the young imp. His eyes let a flicker of disappointment and hurt pass through them before closing and nodding in understanding. For someone so young, there had to have been something going on for there to be such a strong will to date both of them. With a sigh, he rubbed his temples, not sure how he felt about Shade getting to Verdant first. There was no doubt in his mind that Verdant had been the dominant one in that situation, but he still felt jipped. He'd wanted Verdant first. Well, he truthfully didn't know how long Shade and Verdant knew each other, so quite possibly it could've happened way before Dorian ever even knew or cared about Ver. Ah well, he might as well tell Ver about his many sexual partners since......well, since then.

"A very valid point, my dear little bird. Quite frankly, I could probably pass as a teacher at my age, couldn't I?" he chuckled, forcing the mischievous light into his eyes again though there was a small amount of jealousy peeking through. Looking up to Verdant, he decided to drop his own small bomb. Haha. One upped you and got back at you ahead of time for not letting me do you first.

"I figured something of the nature had gone on between the two of you, since he's so young. I'll have you know ahead of time though that up till now I've been quite.....promiscuous. After she left me I filled up the free time with coworkers and intern nurses, and have been to this day for the past year and a half. I'd say about an average of four a week, sometimes repeats. Just so you know.......I don't have any diseases or anything so get that out of your head, I've always used protection with each of them since we all work together. It's a bit awkward at meetings when someone asks you to prescribe something for herpes and you just slept together the other evening.....but don't worry that only happened to Chase, not me," he smiled, talking about it as if it was the weather instead of his sex life.

He had to admit, it had been a small barb to Verdant's ego and it had been on purpose too. He was vaguely jealous, and he got quite petty when jealous. Either way he was making up for it by sliding his free hand up and down Verdant's back to purposefully distract him so he felt like he still had it in him to take the nymph's attention away from Shade. Ah, Dorian was such a selfish b*****d, but he functioned that way and would probably do the same thing to Shade, if he ever grew fond of him. With a sigh and a mischevious grin, he looked up to Verdant.

"I SUPPOSE I can become exclusive for you though.....if you think you can keep up," he purred. Looking over to Shade with a grin, he cocked his head. "Since we don't know each other very well and the matter of 'are we going to do this or not' is settled firmly, why don't I take the two of you out on a lunch date? I don't have to be back at work until three, and I'd love to treat the pair of you," he purred once more in that soft, commanding, yet oddly enough attractive tone of his. How could you say no to a face and charisma like that?
PostPosted: Wed Jul 08, 2009 10:36 pm

Verdant frowned at Dorian's nonchalant confession of how many people he'd slept with. He was a damn nymph and even he wasn't quite that promiscuous. He quickly found himself jealous of all those coworkers and nurses; had he met Dorian earlier, there wouldn't have been any need for those one-night stands... and repeats. Sure, he wasn't used to bottoming out for anyone, but... well, there was a first time for everything, right?

Then Dorian asked if he could keep up with him. Verdant's jealousy melted away as a grin spread across his face. "Just try and stop me, Dori," whispered the nymph in the most seductive voice (and let me tell ya, that voice could seduce the Pope). "Ooh, lunch date? Sounds absolutely perfect to me."

Shade smiled shyly as both the older men said that his suggestion was a good one. His face immediately went red though as Verdant mentioned that one time he and the nymph had spent in the shower together. He didn't bother denying it though and nodded slowly as if to say that Verdant was telling the truth.

The color of his face only got worse as Dorian began to describe how many people he'd slept with before meeting Verdant - if he hadn't felt like a kid before, he certainly did now! He couldn't even say it was because of his age because most of the kids he knew had already done that several times over! He fidgeted with the edge of his t-shirt, unable to find anything to add to the conversation. He was just too shy for this kind of talk!

The impling couldn't help but feel relieved when the topic was finally changed to that of a lunch date. It sounded like a good idea to him, and it wasn't like he'd planned to do anything else today. The boy nodded and smiled to Dorian, his tail flicking behind him. "S-Sounds like f-fun."
PostPosted: Sat Jul 11, 2009 10:07 pm

Dorian smiled gleefully, positively pleased as punch that the pair was going to lunch with him. He chuckled at Verdant's swift change from 'uber sex kitten' to 'starved nymph ready to eat a horse and fairly excited about it'. Rubbing his back, he gently pushed Verdant so he'd get up, and Dorian got up right behind him. Linking arms with Verdant possessively, he assumed probably the worst obstacle Shade would have in getting along with himself was his utter possessiveness of Verdant. It was obvious he exuded a thick air of 'MINE' when he touched the young man. He tried to tone it down so the little imp wouldn't be so intimidated though, although he knew he'd have to remedy the problem of him being the only one who hadn't been with Ver, and very soon.

"Come along then! The company chauffer is outside waiting for me, and I know this wonderful little romantic place to go. You can see practically the whole city!" he chirruped proudly. Forcibly latching Shade's arm with Verdant's other free arm, he led the two out the door and to a gleaming black limo in a sort of intimate yet clumsy human chain so he could get to the door first and open it like a gentleman for the pair. Unlatching his arm from Verdant and bowing quietly, he motioned for the pair to get in. The chauffer up front looked in the rear view mirror, but decided against questioning one of his incredibly high up superiors why he had a young man dressed funny (and that was saying something for anyone who worked with Dorian) and an even younger boy that didn't look like he should legally be getting in this car. The man shrugged it off and waited for Dorian to slide in, which he soon did.

"Where to, sir? I suppose you're taking your......guests.....out to lunch? You have a meeting this afternoon you know," he gently reminded, to which Dorian just boredly nodded and waved him off with a sigh.

"Yes yes. We're going to Carew Tower.....I want to treat them to the good food and wonderful view up there.....now roll up the window thingie and let us be." he ordered, not sharp or anything but a command nonetheless. The man simply smiled and nodded, knowing that the doctor was prone to visiting worse places sometimes, so this was an improvement. As the partion closed in the limo so the driver could no longer hear them unless called on the little phone, Dorian turned to the two and crossed one leg over the other.

"Now. It'll take about thirty minutes to get there, so I wanted to chat some more. Obviously the company I work for is well-to-do, and they have no qualms about us using the company cars, copters, and occasionally motorcyles but those look silly. All white and chrome and with the company's logo on them. I want you to know upfront that I do not come from a less-than-aristocratic family.....my father used to tell me that my pedigree was outstanding, so I'll take his word on that." he stated, completely buisnesslike for once. Lacing his fingers together and taking a breath he continued. "That being the case, neither of you will want for anything as long as I'm around. There are perks for having to deal with my......eccentricities, from time to time. Should you ever want or need anything you don't feel comfortable with asking anyone close to you for, come to me and it'll be taken care of. While we're at lunch I'll have Joshua run the limo to the nearest hardware store and have copies of the apartment keys made. My only rule in the house is that you please don't disturb Claudia if you pass her room and see her plugged in. It means she's recharging or rebooting, and for some reason she's been restarting herself quite often lately."

Looking to Verdant, he raised an eyebrow and jerked his head towards Shade as if to ask 'have you told him about my daughter yet? or do I need to explain?' but then shrugged softly. Lounging back on the seat finally, he grabbed a bottle of dark chardonnay out of a nearby iced hidey hole in the car and popped the top off, popping open a compartment and getting a glass to pour himself some. Taking a sip and putting the bottle back, he looked at the pair expectantly, wanting them to initiate conversation for once. He wanted them to WANT to tell him about themselves.

Verdant couldn't help but blush at how possessive Dorian was being with him. Was it because they hadn't slept together yet? He was somewhat certain that was the case; if it was, Verdant would be able to remedy that problem quite quickly... well, it'd probably take all night if Dorian played his cards right, but that wasn't important right now.

The nymph turned red in the face when he heard "company chauffer". Really?! He already had the feeling that Dorian would be spoiling him silly; he'd have to make sure not to get used to that. After all, he was used to living off of honey and protein bars (and the occasional burger), he made every single article of clothing he owned himself, and a third of all his paychecks went towards... well, that wasn't important either, now was it? "Ch-chauffer? Dorian, I-" He never quite got to finish that sentence as he found himself standing before a beautiful black limo. He looked down at Shade, then looked to Dorian and simply got in without a word. He was feeling very out of place, but that was normal, wasn't it? He'd never been in a limo before, but it was very comfy and spacious. THIS he wouldn't mind getting used to.

Verdant watched as the window thingy was rolled up and stared at Dorian with a look that asked, "What does that do?" He didn't really need an answer, though, so he merely listened to his partner-soon-to-be-lover as he explained things about the company he worked for and where his family came from. He was beginning to feel self-conscious in himself; sure being a nereid was the highest of honors in a nymph clan, but that was many years ago. Nymph ranks meant nothing anymore and he had no pedigree to speak of, so what did he have to offer to Dorian? They would not "want for anything" so long as Dorian was around, but what could he give to Dorian in return? Your love? Adoration? Body, mind, and soul? "Stupid clichés," Verdant thought to himself in response to, well, himself. Still, he made him forget her, didn't he? Verdant was quite certain that would be enough for the time being.

"I, um, I haven't told him about Claudia yet, but you could always explain later. I kind of wanted to ask you about this "Carew Tower" place. What's it like?" As one might expect, Verdant had never been to or even heard of a place named Carew Tower; hopefully, people wouldn't mind that he was wearing a white corset, black fishnet shirt, a cat bell choker, and pants that had half a frilly pink skirt sewn into them.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 13, 2009 12:26 am

For a few moments, Shade thought that he'd merely be following after Dorian and Verdant. However, just when he thought that he might get stuck as a third-wheel, he felt one of his arms being latched onto Verdant's free arm - his face quickly lit up with red, but he let out no complaints. He didn't exactly have any, after all.

The boy's eyes widened in amazement he saw the limo, too stunned to form words. He'd never imagined that he'd ever get the chance to ride in one! The boy looked around curiously as they all got in. How rich was Dorian anyway? It was obvious that he made a lot of money doing whatever it was that he did. He felt like he'd just stepped out of some kind of kid's storybook or something!

The impling listened as Dorian explained a bit about his background and fidgeted a little - he wasn't ashamed of his mother in any way, but it was hard to find something to say about his family that was as impressive as Dorian's. It was just the two of them, living in their little apartment after all. And this place they were going to...would there be even more rich people there? All he was dressed in was a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. He may have never been to this place, but it certainly sounded like it would be a lot fancier than the fast-food places that Shade was so used to getting lunch at when he had spare money. 'Just...be calm about it...everything'll turn out fine. There shouldn't be any problems if you're polite, right?' He REALLY hoped so - the last thing he wanted to do was stick out like a sore thumb at this place.

Shade made a mental note to pay Dorian back...somehow. He didn't know how he'd ever be able to give back to him, but he'd find a way...somehow. Maybe...he could fix any tech that he might have lying around? It certainly didn't seem like a fair trade for...basically anything he needed, but it was one of the only things he was good at aside from gaming. God, would he really be able to pull this all off? He was starting to wonder.

Wait, who was Claudia? The impling opened his mouth to ask, but quickly shut up as he remembered that one rule Dorian had set down before. Not to talk about 'her'...could whoever this Claudia person was be who the older man had been talking about? 'Verdant wouldn't be talking about her though if that were it, right...?' He assumed and hoped so.

"It s-sounds nice..." Shade said quietly as Verdant asked about the tower, looking towards Dorian. He could only imagine that it was, since the older man had said that he'd wanted to treat them to the view.

Dorian chuckled at the amazement and awe plastered on the two young faces in front of him. Clasping his hands together and resting them on his perched knee, he cocked his head happily as they asked about Carew Tower, and when Verdant spoke of Claudia. He nodded in response to the nymph.

"Yes, we'll have to ease him into Claudia. That's my daughter by the way, Shade. Well, sort of, but I'll let you get acclimated to me first before I expose you to her. She's been a bit tickky lately and even Marius has trouble dealing with her from time to time.

BUT! Carew Tower is this wonderful little place where lots of things go on. Believe me, you don't have to be bashful.....even the rich side of town goes to lunch at Carew in t-shirts and jeans. I've done it many many times actually. Most of the time it's just friends going out for a fancy lunch or something, like we are, you'd be surprised what doctors and lawyers look like on their downtime. There have even been wedding proposals there at night."
he fawned, eager to give them as much information as they wished. Taking another sip of alcohol he continued.

"Other than that, the actual dining area is on the top floor, and there's the main circular floor that has a mini-dance floor on it for the evenings, a band stage in front of that, and on the edge closest to the windows that line all around the circle......the floor rotates. That's my favorite part I think. The rotating edge. It lets you see the entire city and beyond all the way around. It's quite break taking seeing it all from up above," he chirruped. Going to take a sip again, he blinked as he realized it was empty. He frowned, but put the glass away. He knew he was going to drink at Carew Tower and he didn't want to overdo it both for his emotional reasons and because of the meeting later. Smiling at the pair, he cocked his head to the other side, making his ponytail fall over his shoulder and drape into his lap.

"So! Are there any other questions you want to ask? I want to know as much as possible about the two of you, and am totally fine with you knowing almost all, if not completely all, about me." he smiled.

Verdant listened so attentively to Dorian’s description of the restaurant they’d be dining at; it sounded so marvelous and fancy, even if people went there in casual clothing. His eyes lit up at the mention of a dance floor; perhaps he could persuade Dorian to dance with him? Then there was the band stage; he wondered if any good rock bands played there, but he didn’t want to get his hopes up just now.

“It sounds absolutely amazing, Dorian! I can’t wait to get there.” The nymph looked down at Dorian’s empty glass and frowned. He hadn’t had the heart to tell him, but it bothered him a little when he drank. At least he doesn’t do drugs, right? “I don’t really have any other questions; do you, Shade?”

Shade nodded slowly - how could this Claudia girl be Dorian's daughter 'sort of'? He supposed that he'd find out eventually...she sounded more like a machine from the way Dorian spoke of her though. He'd never heard someone describe a person as being 'tickky'. That sounded more like the way the impling described his computer when it wasn't working properly. Perhaps he was over analyzing again though. Either way, he had to wonder what Claudia would think of the current arrangement - would she be alright with her father dating two men, one of which was obviously underage?

Relief came over Shade as Dorian told them that most of the people at Carew Tower would be dressed casually - that helped to lessen the boy's fear about fitting into such a place.

The impling teen blinked, a look of awe coming over him as the top floor was described. The rotating floor was what caught his attention the most - how could anyone keep their mind on food when the floor was circling beneath their feet. He looked to Verdant as the nymph spoke excitedly - the boy had to admit, he was rather excited about the whole thing now as well.

"That sounds...really cool." He was surprised to note that he was no longer stammering - then again, he was much calmer than he'd been earlier.

The boy blinked as he was asked if he had any other questions. He couldn't really think of anything at the moment - he was still trying to wrap his head around just about everything! "I...don't really have any right now..." Maybe he'd come up with something later on during lunch.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 28, 2009 3:22 pm

Dorian smiled at their combined awe, and checked his cell phone again momentarily, nope. Still no messages from Marius, so he supposed that was probably a good sign. Either way, he had two very quiet individuals he was dealing with. Verdant was usually all 'talk talk talk talk talk' but today he seemed so subdued, and not to mention Shade seemed like he wasn't much of a talker under any circumstances. This would be difficult, he supposed. He was used to having conversation with his coworkers, and always jittering all at once at each other about whatever came to mind. It was strange to have a lunch date be so quiet thus far. But as he was musing over these things, the partition rolled down, and through the front window you could see a tall, daunting tower that had a type of space-needle at the top, which was actually the dining area.

"Sir, we've arrived at Carew Tower, would you like me to drop you off at the lobby?" the driver asked with a smile, to which Dorian eagerly nodded. As they cruised up to a stop at the front door, Dorian scooted over to get out first, and opened the door for Verdant and Shade, being the perfect picture of a gentleman. He didn't know why, but that was important to him somehow, looking like a gentleman, especially now that he had two little lovers he had to look good FOR. He was just as much a trophy boyfriend as they were.

"This, my loves, is Carew Tower. Hurry up now, we don't have any time to waste," he chirped, ushering them out of the limo and closing the door behind them. The limo immediately cruised off into a private parking lot for the Tower that was mostly full with limos of the same breed as the one they'd come in, and a few sports cars here and there, and even a high-end minivan. Dorian sighed. He knew that minivan. It was one of his old 'regulars' car, and the woman pestered him CONSTANTLY about how he was the only one for her, even though she was married and had three children. She was one of the resident understudy scientists at the company, and Dorian had made sure to get her moved to another developing and research floor. Anywhere but where he was working. Ah well, if she didn't realize he was with two beautiful young men, emphasis on the young, he'd have to set her straight once and for all this time.

Leading the pair into the lobby, it was ornately decorated, all whites and marbles and pearls and cherry wood floors. It reeked of the elite, but Dorian didn't seem to notice. He just calmly walked to the elevator and waved at the man at the desk, whom waved back jovially. It had been a while since Dorian had come back here, and some of the staff liked him because he was fun to talk to and gave great tips. Giving Ver and Shade a pointed look that said 'hurry up now, dears' he stood waiting at the elevator doors. Pushing the button, he leaned on the wall, waiting for it to come down.

Verdant was about to ask if Dorian was expecting a call from someone when they arrived at Carew Tower, or at least he thought they were there. The driver said so, so yes, this tall, fancy, intimidating building must be Carew Tower. He quickly stepped out of the limo and followed Dorian into the posh lobby of the restaraunt; the damn lobby alone was bigger than most of the places he'd played at. The poor nymph felt like a fish out of water; Dorian was rich and Verdant was clearly not. He could only hope that Shade felt more comfortable than he did, but then he remembered who he was talking about. As they waited for the elevator, Verdant took the time to ask Dorian a question.

"Dori, you sure we won't stick out like a couple of sore thumbs? I know you said people dress casually here, but still..."
PostPosted: Tue Aug 04, 2009 10:44 pm

Shade looked out the window closest to him as the driver told them that they were at the tower. Yet another look of awe came over his face as he saw how tall the tower was - could that /REALLY/ be a mere restaurant?

He was quickly snapped out of his thoughts as the car pulled to a stop and Dorian climbed out. The boy blinked as the older man held the door open for him and Verdant and felt the skin beneath his fur redden at the gesture. Dorian was certainly polite, he'd give him that. The boy quickly followed the two older men into the lobby if the tower and once again, found himself looking around curiously. He was still a little self-conscious of himself, but...he was still rather interested in visiting such a new and different place. Heck, he almost forgot that they were here to eat! Well, he did until he caught the look that Dorian was giving him and Verdant.

The 16-year-old quickly followed them to the elevator door before he resumed looking around, his ears flicking as he heard listened to Verdant speak. Oddly enough, he wasn't as nervous as he'd been originally - maybe this little date really would turn out to be fun! "Maybe...we won't stick out that much." Or maybe they would - either way, he actually felt a little excited about this whole thing, a fact which actually surprised him a bit.
