pale blues to navy blues, with perhaps hints of gold/brass or silver.
Reds work well so do yellows and black.

SO say, like.. the whole steampunk thing (minus the airships, cause that would be strage... make them.. submarines or something )) was.. underwater. In like.. some future underground civilazation that habitats the sea floors?

Does this make sense?
