Cant wait xd hero is a kick a** movie, one of jet lee's finest, its actually good all the way through, not like some of the crap plot good fightscene movies he's been in. wikkid xd you've changed your name right? I've read quite a lot of what you've posted in the TKD thread and I have a question, you do TKD yeah? And you've posted that you're quite a big guy, does that mean you prefer using your hands? I've noticed it couple of times that the bigger guys tend to go for the wade in there and pound the hell out of their face with their fists style, whereas people of my build (tall and skinny) tend to prefer the hang back and kick em inna head appraoch. Is that true or am I making a sweeping generalisation? if its a street fight...i'll use both, i'm more of the tall and skinny guy... but toned, lol stronger then the bulky guys in my fitness class...even tha grades higher then me, lol, but since i actually grew, i've become more of a head hunter when using my feet, before i was basically a body shot giver. Ah cool, I see. Its really satisfying slapping your foot into someones head isn't it? xd yeah, especially when they keep speaking alot of trash before you do it.

I liked the whole series of The Matrix. Yeah I know it used a lot of wires and stuffs but its the philosophy of the movie that I liked best. Specially the line: there is no spoon. I always remember that line whenever my master calls me to demonstrate the effectiveness of shihonage on me. He said I was good on breaking my falls. I hope the whole florr was his face so that I could sit on it the next time he uses me as a throwing dummy once more!!!!!!! rofl

Well first of all I would have to say that I liked the last samurai however their were some inacuracies concerning the samurai. anyway my favorite martial arts movie has to be Jet Li's fearless it was just jaw dropping he really pulled out all the stops I also like tony jaa's ong bak the thai warrior croutching tiger hidden dragon and jet li's unleashed

Man, i really really dislike "fearless". My friend and I went to see it, not knowing it was all in another language, and because she is blind i sat and read out the subtitles for her. At first we though, maybe it won't all be in another language stressed but maybe if i watched it again i could appreciate it more xp
but i do like the matrix xd

I thought Keaneu Reeve did a decent job, i cant imagine will smith as neo. But then again, if he had been cast as neo, then im sure that we wouldnt be able to imagine Reeves as neo xp

The entire Once Upon A Time In China series starring Jet Li was really good as was Fearless and Hero.
I actually liked Tony Jaa in The Protector a little more than Ong Bak.
Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon AND Chinese Connection (Chinese title is Fist of Fury).
I've forgotten the title, but the newest Zatoichi movie was alright as well.

Gotta be Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon... cus I know I'd love to be able to balance on twigs and float in the air like that...
Although besides that, it was an awesome movie, I thought. It had a slightly mystical sense to it... probably because of the fighting scenes, lol.
No real favourite, though. Haven't watched enough.
Fearless was OK...but pretty average, in my opinion. Then again, I was watching it in Chinese... with Chinese subtitles... which I didn't understand at all...
Better than The Protector at least.
