"Well yeah. We're all friends. But that happens when you're family," Dahlia said.
Zaraya snorted, "But that doesn't mean we don't want to talk to other ponies either."
Kallan shrugged and went back to his sandcastle, waving his hoof so that the water would jump from the ocean to his moat.

"How'd you do that?" Kaida asked, watching Kallan.

Kallan frowned, "I don't know. I just think about where I want the water to go, wave my hoof to guide it, and there goes."
Zaraya's eyes narrowed as she watched. She looked at Dahlia and frowned.
"I know, Zar," Dahlia shrugged as if she were bored.

Kaida blinked at the other two siblings, confused, but then dismisses it. "You can do that whenever you want?"

"No reason," she muttered, looking away. She managed to keep the 'lucky' to herself as she wondered what it'd be like to be able to control her...power. She considered leaving, not sure if she would be able to.

"What can you do?" Zaraya smiled, a rare thing for her.
Dahlia followed Zaraya's lead, "Yeah, what are you good at?"
"You don't have to say if you don't want to...They can be nosy sometimes." Kallan smiled again, "You can still help me build my sandcastle, if you want."

"I'm... not really good at anything," Kaida mumbled. Without fully realizing what she was doing, she inched her way toward Kallan.

"Everyone's good at something," Dhalia piped up, "Sometimes it's just not easy to find right away."
"That's true," Kallan smiled again and pushed a shell in Kaida's direction.
Zaraya grinned. "Yep. Kallan's lucky and found his fast."

Kaida hesitated a second before taking the shell. She held her breath and waited a second before letting it out in relief when the shell stayed as it was. "I'm not good at anything," she repeated, picking it up and toying with it. "I only hurt things."

"You haven't hurt us," Zaraya pointed out.
Dahlia picked up her own shell and started making patters around Kallan's sandcastle. "And we have to watch out for people who might hurt us."
"But I don't think you could hurt us," Kallan added. "You don't seem like the type to want to hurt anyone."

"I don't want to hurt anyone," she muttered, carefully putting the shell in a good place in the pattern. "But I always do." When she pulled her hoof away, she flinched as the shell glittered gold. It was just a thin coating, more gold plated than solid gold, but still...

Kallan's eyes caught the sparkly gold of the shell. "I don't think you can hurt us. We're pretty durable. And I'm sure someone in our family knows a spell to make us well if something does happen."
Dahlia saw the shell too and squealed, "Pretty! Where'd you find that shell?"
Zaraya strained her neck tyring to see what they were talking about. "Um...Excuse me...Water bound here!"

"Kallan gave it to me," Kaida reminded them. she hesitated a moment before taking the shell back and holding it out so Zaraya could see it.
