Soon came Neros's turn to leave. There wasn't much he needed, he only had to make sure his wings were intact and his limbs were functional... Make sure he was breathing... Make sure he stopped giggling for a moment, maybe it was deliriously exciting, but it wasn't that exciting. Managing to suppress his laughter for more than a minute (accompanied by tremors of the body), Neros ensured that a container of the black substance was with him, stretched to keep his joints flexible, and prepared for takeoff.
Unlike Melethia, he used the window. Wind magic made it so much easier, even if the magic was a little different. And all the while, he was giggling to himself as he soared out, catching the air on his wings. Never mind that the sun usually befouled his mood so! He was off on the start of a great adventure! Or at least a civil turn in his lifestyle.

Melethia got back to the manor with the person she took. She jumped her way onto a window into the attic. She taped the person's mouth shut so they wouldn't scream. She then pinned them to a wall. The person's life was now in the hands of Neros or Renault. She took her hood off and her look was back to her normal one. She was not looking like a dragon. She also put her staff aside.
Melethia left the attic to get breakfast. She was hungry and a dragon like her HAS to eat. Her stomach was growling a bit as she went to the kitchen.

Shento was there when Melethia turned a corner, on her way to the kitchen. He was leaning his back against a wall, with his eyes closed and arms folded across his chest. He had not seen her come from the attic, and knew nothing of whatever she had done. But, he did see her leave. And he was curious.
"Where you have gone, Katalis...?"

Melethia stopped when she heard Shento's voice. She stepped back around the corner she just turned. She looked at Shento with a curious look.
"Just for a walk." She answered. "And didn't I tell you my name isn't Katalis."

Shento looked up at her glistening eyes. He knew she had supposedly changed her name, but to him, she would always have the same name. Perhaps he would just call her 'Melethia' in front of the others. He didn't even want to get her known to his companions. It thought it would only put her in danger. But that couldn't be helped now, she was here. When he saw her with arrows in her back, sh had to get treatment right away, and he couldn't do that. But still...
"....Why.. did you to come here?" He finally said. "You.. not waited."

Melethia didn't answer for a bit. Why was it she came here. Why was it she came to the manor the day before. There was a reason she came here.
"I had to find the book I tossed to the side when you almost hit me with an arrow." She answered.

Shento grinned lightly. He missed her attitude more than he thought.
"Just a book?" Shento though for a moment, then looked back at her. "Soldiers. Dey had give all things they find to... Ah, dey put zem down thah stairpath. In a empty room. Maybe it there."
Shento pushed himself forward, off of the wall, and took a step toward the stairs. He looked back, and held out his hand.
"...Come."

Melethia took his hand. A small blush formed on her face. She had some liking to this person. It seemed like he cared about her...though it was for someone who was most likely dead. She couldn't help but smile a bit. "So it's just down these stairs?" She asked.

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello landed heavily outside Fefga's. His search through the forest had been fruitless, and the Raven's cool, stormy gray eyes were tired with worry. He sat down on the mansion's front stoop, folding his wings and rubbing his face with one hand. Maybe Triumph and Evelyn had done better. They had that smell thing going on, between Triumph's three noses one could surely track the dancer down, right?
Just let her be okay, please...
He reached up slowly and took the Tervingi Crest in his hand, turning it over and staring into the crimson gem, turning it this way and that in the sun. He tried desperately to distract himself, and the powerful gem was good for distraction. The way the angles inside the smooth, round stone were, one could see different shadows and shapes emerge by staring from different angles, and they drew the eyes to follow them, wiping the mind clean as it became impossible to focus on anything but the horrific shapes hidden within the crest of the Luck god.
And yet his mind was torn away by a pang of guilt. Amelia... she must have done it... and he had passed her, he could have stopped her... and now Mom...

"....yes."
He squeezed her hand lightly and lead her down the stairway. When they reached the bottom, he rounded the corner and brought her to a vacant bedroom. Upon the various furniture were items that the soldiers had confiscated or found from people. Within one the discarded piles, a tome-like book rested on it's side.
He led her inside, and stepped to the side as he turned to face her, releasing her hand.
"Maybe here... yes?"

"Oh my book!" Melethia goes and grabs her tome. She noticed a few other tomes and staves, but making sure her Dragon Flame tome was still in tact. She sat down on the bed in the room. She then opened the book. Her eyes scanned the pages. She smiled. It wasn't used while she didn't have it. It still had 19 of it's 20 uses.
"Good," She sighed, "Everything is in order. Thank you." She gave Shento a smile.

Seeing that she had recovered her book, he went over and sat next to her, and looked over at the book. The foreign markings made it out to be a magic tome. That was weird... Katalis always used sharp blades, like scythes or jagged daggers. He looked up at her, for clarity.
"You know magik now?"

"Yeah." she said. "Magic was something I got into, I can use swords if I need to though." She yawned a big yawn. Her fangs showed a bit as she yawned.

•I bear the seed of ruin… •A golden age turned to stone… вєαѕтмιѕтяєѕѕ єѴєℓYη Sometimes I wonder why they need me at all! … For this, a tragic journey• … A vision of a dying embrace• It had been roughly an hour since Evelyn had started her search for her mother. Though the time spent searching thus far was short, it felt as if days had passed by without her. As the minutes ran on, her exhaustion grew ever worse. For the entire night she had been out battling those guild members. She had forgone sleep to defeat them as well as breakfast. But, after all of the magic she had poured forth and all the hours she had spent testing their might… she had failed. How could she face her mother knowing she was a failure? How she was even supposed to find the woman they all loved? She didn’t know, all she knew was that she had to keep looking.
If Evelyn had been by herself, surely the task would be near impossible. Currently, falling over and taking a quick nap sounded mighty appealing, but she knew that wasn’t an option. Even Triumph was tired; she could tell. Evelyn herself had only gotten about an hour of rest before going out, but Triumph had gotten none and he did most of the work. Worst of all, Triumph hadn’t gotten dinner like Evelyn had before racing onto the field of battle. Experience had taught Evelyn to never let Triumph go hungry. With his three stomachs to feed, it meant thrice the amount of moodiness when it got to be too much for the creature to bear and he was nearing his limit.
“Triumph… you have to keep looking…” Evelyn mumbled while trying to rub her eyes awake. They had neared the edge of the forest, near a large field with a single pecan tree, when Triumph suddenly stopped walking and bowed his three heads in a defeated manner. “N-no… Triumph we—“ A yawn broke her sentence. “We can’t… go home… without mom…” Her heels dug into the side of the Gwyllgi as she beckoned him to keep going. He refused to budge though as his master continued to dig her heels into his hard sides. “T-Triumph…” she whined as she hit one of the head with her tome only to fail to get a reaction of the monster.
“Fine, I see… how it is.” Evelyn moved one leg over so she was sitting side saddle before she slide off the Gwyllgi and onto the ground. The sudden weight her body had delivered onto her legs when she landed had proved to be too much for them and had caved beneath her. A light whimper escaped her lips as she struggled to stand and eventually forced herself to her feet despite the difficulties. “Suit yourself… I don’t need you any more…” As the words left her lips Triumph perked up and jumped to his feet with a yelp. Evelyn ignored him though as she walked into the open field, bound for the tree. She was slouched over as she walked; her drooping eyes firmly planted on her feet as she shuffled through the grass of varying lengths. The bright green of the grass was a shocker to her tired eyes and she had to struggle to keep them open.
The teal haired girl’s eyes suddenly closed and she fell forward onto the ground with a thud and a yelp of pain. Quickly, in response to her fall, her loyal mount rushed to her side only to be shoved away. “Go away! I don’t need you!” She said as her voiced threatened to crack and tears returned to her eyes. Mom, she had to find mom; she just had to! Her hands pushed against the soft grass as she picked herself up and pushed her hand against one of the Gwyllgi’s mouth. Triumph licked her hand as a whine emitted from deep within her throat. Evelyn hastily jerked her hand away and slapped the middle head’s muzzle. “Why don’t you listen? I told you to go away! Just go home! I can find mom on my own! You never really liked mom anyway! It was always dad this and dad that with you!”
Evelyn hissed angrily as she turned her head away and back towards the ground as she resumed walking. Even as she continued to pay the monster no mind, he followed right behind her like a lost puppy with no home to go to. Perhaps it was because her mind was else where, but when she finally did reach the tree it greeted her harshly. A scream erupted from her throat as she fell onto the ground once more after walking right into the large plant. The tree was relatively unaffected, save for the single pecan that decided to fall and hit the poor girl on the head. Talk about hitting a girl when she’s down.
“T-that tree got in my way…” Evelyn moaned as she rolled onto her side to be met by a sight she was not prepared for. Her face went pale as tears rolled down her cheeks despite her already being dehydrated. “Mom! Mom!” She screamed as she hastily crawled over to the older woman’s side and shook her arm. “Mom, it’s me! It’s Evelyn… Mom… please… wake up.” She choked back a sob as she continued to stare at the woman’s face. Her hand traveled down to the red head’s stomach as she touched the wound, getting Teifi’s blood on her hand. “Ha… haha… this… this is a joke, right?” Evelyn started to laugh pathetically as she pressed the hand covered in Teifi’s blood against her face to stop the tears that continued to flow. “Ha… ha… C-Castello… he set this up… right… it’s just a joke… Mom… mom is fine… she’s… she can’t be dead.”
Triumph wandered over to Evelyn’s side once more as he moved his head under Evelyn so that when he lifted it, she slid back onto his back. “Mom… she wouldn’t leave us… I didn’t get to say goodbye… ha… so funny.” The teal haired girl continued to giggle stupidly while crying as Triumph used his three heads to position the woman on his back; almost on Evelyn’s back. “Isn’t it funny, Triumph? Mom is fine, right? She wouldn’t leave without saying goodbye… not again…. This isn’t like last time…” The Gwyllgi simply nodded to the girl as he took off running bound for Fefga’s house.
It didn’t take long for them to arrive with Triumph’s speed, despite his tired body. He uttered a howl to announce their arrival, for Evelyn wasn’t by any means capable of calling out to the others. She was still giggling sickly while crying, but now she was hugging the bleeding corpse of Teifi as the red head's blood spilled on to her dress. “Quiet now, Triumph. Can’t you see mom is sleeping? Ya, mom is just sleeping.” She hugged Teifi’s corpse tighter, as if to say she would not allow any force to part them. “I love mom, she can’t be dead. She’s only sleeping. You can see that, right, Triumph…?”

He looked at her. She was beautiful. Perhaps fate he given him a second chance at something he had been forced to give up before. He had been brought back by an unnatural way, and it disgusted Shento that he was even here, but... looking at her, it made him feel truly alive again. The looming darkness or the one who forced orders onto him didn't matter. He was there, and so was she. They were alone, together. That's all that mattered.
Before Melethia could finish her yawn, Shento rose his hand and placed in on the far side of her face lightly, and moved her face to look over at him. "I deed... miss you, wen I left. Evehry day, I thought of you. I sorry I left you. Forgive me."
He brought her near, and stroked her face once more. "We can be togetheh agahn. I whill not leave you willingly agahn.... I promeece." He lent over and kissed her, as if it were his way of shaking hands to confirm a promise. Their lips touched again, a show of their affection. And again, and again. They were together, and a love was born again.
