"Well," The female frowned a little, pausing for a moment before she finally thought of an answer. Her frown quickly turned back into a smile, and she gave a brief nod, "Yes, I guess I do wander around a lot, although I treat the forest as my more or less permanent home. I like taking in new sights, but then again, I never stray far from it, nor do I really want to... After all, it has the river and plenty of food and shelter."
At the second question, Grace giggled, "I guess I am sort of staying put, in the forest, that is... Then again, the forest is big, so, I'm not sure if I'll ever stay put in a small area... Maybe one day I will, when I find the right place to! What about you, Rotom?"

"I live over near a river that way.." He nodded off in the direction. "I life with a herd of mares actually...." he glanced down saying that. "The human there took me in, one day, it's not to bad really, I always have food, a home, the usual stuff..." he hoped that answered her question well enough. But knowing that she didn't stay put meant the likelihood of seeing her again was small.
"Have you seen anything interesting in your journeys?"

"A herd?" Grace exclaimed, her eyes widening; she had seen these 'herds' roaming around the grasslands, and it looked rather fun... Like being a part of a huge family. Part of her longed to join a herd and discover what having a huge family feels like, but part of her enjoyed the freedom of being a loner... Of course, on some nights, it gets lonely.
"I think its cool," She grinned, giving a quick nod, "I've never been a part of a herd... To be honest, I can't even remember my own family. It feels like I had always been by myself, from the moment I opened my eyes. It must be fun to be with so many people... I said that one day I'll settle down in one place, but I really hope I have others with me." She sighed wistfully, shaking her head.
At the question, the Usdia mare perked up, "Interesting... Well, I've been to the sea once, although this mare I met these told me some rather frightening things about it..." She paused, shuddering, "I've also been to the mountains, although not on it - its so big compared to the small me!"

Rotom had to think. "Well this herd isn't the typical herd you'd see. The two legger that tends to us, is out Bond. So it's really not all to often we spend to much time together. But the general herd rules apply...If that makes sense. They are like a family." He smiled some.
"Really, scary things? I have never been to the ocean but I want to go some day... Though if theres scary things there I'm not to sure if I'll want to fo any more..." He was small enough to be shark bait.
"OH really? I plan to go up the mountain one day! You should come with me"

"Sounds nice... Although I don't really trust these... These two leggers." Grace replied hesitantly with a small smile, hoping not to offend her new friend; its just that their removable pelts and walking patterns scare her, and she had never really interacted with one. She then quickly added, her smile widening as she relaxed, "However, if you're fine, then maybe they aren't that scary after all!"
"The ocean is really pretty! Its like a giant lake with weird tasting water!" She exclaimed happily, her face lighting up. It soon changed into a frown, however, as she continued, "But this mare I met, someone name Terra, told me that one day, the ocean is going to rise so high that it'll destroy the mountains... And that's scary."
At Rotom's next comment though, she regained her sunny composure and nodded enthusiastically, "I would love to! Its boring traveling by myself, after all! It'll be nice to wake up to a friendly face every morning, and go for meals together!" She blushed, although it wasn't visible due to her dark cranberry pelt, wondering if she sounded too enthusiastic about it.
{You know, I was wondering... Do you mind plotting for them to become mates?}

"I guess it kind of depends? The one that tends to me, is pretty nice. But I have no doubt like everything, there are some that are scary." Rotom nodded. Not to sure about it, but it was more then likely true.
"Destroy the mountains?" That was actually a rather upsetting thought. This mare should be taken seriously, and someone should investigate. It would hurt a lot horses not to mention kill... But as Rotom started to fade Grace caught his attention.
"Oh is that so?" He smiled a bit. He was oddly happy to hear her say that, and the way she did. He still had little experience with mares. "We should make a plan to meet up in the fall to do this. I think that would be a good idea."

"That's probably true," The female nodded; she hadn't met any really scary Soqs, but there are meat-eating Soqs and those that probably would eat her up for dinner out there... Maybe there are nice humans too; she just hadn't had the courage to go up to them and meet one.
"Yes, the mountains," Grace nodded again, "There are those who don't believe it, but... Better safe than sorry?"
"Sure!" She nodded happily, a wide grin on her face. "I can't wait to visit the mountains! It would be easier to travel with a friend than alone, after all."

Rotom's first mare friend. And things seemed to be going rather well. They made plans to go to the mountains when the fall rolls in. Which wouldn't be to long down the line. He was getting excited thinking about it. His eyes shifted back over to her.
"You know, I should probably head off. Think here would be a good meeting place for the fall?"

"Yes! Its easy to find, after all! I'll be here when the leaves start to turn red and brown," Grace nodded happily; when the leaves start turning color... That was a sure indication that Fall had arrived. Soon after, they'll litter the forest floor and after that would be the arrival of winter. She quickly nodded, flicking her tail before glancing at the sky, "I think I better get going too... I'm really glad we met!"
She took a few steps forward and gave the other a quick, friendly nuzzle, "See you again same place, in Fall!" The mare smiled before turning around and going back the way she had came, excited to finally be going to the mountains... With a new friend too! She was sure that the trip would be anything but boring. In fact, she was positive that it was going to be exciting!

Rotom smiled and nuzzled her back. Her excitement pleased him. And when the fall came, he wouldn't be able to get back to the location fast enough. He turned and headed off in the direction of the teepee. A slight breeze slithered over him and he smiled some. Fall really was just around the corner.
