"I wouldn't want to turn into a fish," she wrinkled her nose and shook her head, as if he had been offering to find this God and help her turn into a fish. She much preferred being a leopon, anyway. Besides, where would they find a God of fish?
"You caught one!" She marveled suddenly, though it wasn't the first time she had seen the fish. Apparently it just took a moment for information to be digested.
"I love that! I don't think I've ever eaten one before! Do they taste good? You should eat one first," she nodded, needing to see it eaten to be sure that it was, in fact, edible, "what if it's poisonous? I don't want to eat it first."

Nac laughed as he tossed the fish to her, "I eat them all the time, they're perfectly fine. But if you insist, just hold that one."
He watched for second and caught another rather nice sized fish and hopped out of the water shaking his fur off sending water everywhere.
"I grew up on these, didn't know what zebra and antelope were." His tail flickered as he picked off the skin to where the meat was and cut out small chunks and ate it.
He paused to see if she was looking at him strange, "Then again I eat my food funny anyways. I don't really like to kill the larger stuff, some of the smaller stuff like rabbit, fish and what not do just fine."

She watched the fish warily, taking him fairly literally. She put her paw on it, just to be sure, but it only gingerly held the dying fish in place. It was still a concern, really, that there was poison to worry about.
"You didn't know what zebra are? So, wait. Is it as weird for you for me to not know much about fish as it is for me to hear you didn't know much about zebra? Because it's pretty hard to imagine for me, but I guess if you were more around water and I was more around grass, it makes sense?"
She was essentially thinking out loud, without much of a filter. Still, she seemed interested in his opinion on the mater. For about ten seconds.
"You're weird!" she proclaimed, after some thought.

Nac looked at her. "Well we don't get much big prey here. And mother didn't let me out of the jungle."
He stated simply while eating the flesh of the fish. "Besides fish is pretty tasty. It also has less gristle than Zebra or Gazelle." He looked around, "I think most jungle cats do eat fish."
"It's easy to come by and you never run out of food." He added with a nod and shook his head.
"I might be weird but you're not quite normal yourself." He grinned. "So you know we're two peas in a pod~"

Adelpha listened, nodding vigorously at all the points he made. It sounded fascinating, being raised on fish. She had been raised on big meat. Did that make them too different? But she was getting along with him, so it couldn't be that important a difference. She nodded at her own thoughts, though it looked a bit out of place now that he had finished talking.
"Pees? Gross!" She wrinkled her nose, though she was smiling. It wasn't an intentional pun, though: she literally had misinterpreted what he had meant. She wasn't too familiar with vegetables, after all, but the other thing was pretty common.
She bent to chew at the fish, a bit perplexed by the texture and the scales, but soon enough she was tasting the flesh and she looked up in surprise.
"This is really good!" she said in disbelief.

Nac chuckled shaking his head before laying down and stretching a bit.
He shrugged, "Well you can't really fit two bugs in a pod I don't think." He said after a moment tail flickering before watching her eat.
"Of course it's good." He grinned softly, "It's fish. >> though normally I pick off the scales."

Adelpha nodded, though she didn't know what scales were. She'd have to do better to pick them off next time, if she caught herself a fish in the future. Smiling, she got up, picking up the chewed up fish to bring with her, swishing her long thick tail behind her.
"I should go!" she said suddenly, through her closed teeth, "my song stopped. I should go find it again. But thank you for the fish, Nac!"
She purred and moved to rub him, effectively getting fish bits in his fur, then turned to pad away, tail high in her excitement and glee. What a fun day this had been! She would have to come back to this jungle and find him again.

Nac watched her leave and shook his head, "See ya~"
He started cleaning the fish bits out of his muttering about getting dirty.
