Cody sighed and stood, noticing that Shadai already had her bag of food and her car keys out. Damn, he was hoping to stay longer. "Don' want to leave yet either, Lulu, but I have to. Hug goodbye?" he asked, grinning. He honestly didn't want to leave without a proper goodbye.
"Sides, we can meet up somewhere later," he added, grin broadening at the idea. Luska was really fun to be with, even though they were currently two different ages. But his sudden growth had proved differently.

Rein smiled at the way Cody was trying to cheer up the young girl. Although, it didn't seem like it had much affect at first. Seeing Luska give a slight nod of the head while giving the boy a hug. "Cody promises Lulu, right?" She asks with a small pout.
Eying the sweets that were still left on the plate, Rein had decided that this was also her fault too. Perhaps she should have asked before giving the sugar-filled pastries to the children. Perhaps she should practice on making sugar-free things next time.
"You're always welcomed to come visit," Rein added.

Cody hugged the toddler back and nodded. "I promise. Maybe when you grow, we can meet up somewhere," he suggested, smiling. Despite the trouble he had sorta gotten himself into, like last time, it had been rather fun.
Shadai nodded, glad nothing had truly gone wrong, been destroyed or stolen save for the broken vase Rein had swept up. "And visit we shall. Come on Cody, let's head home," she said, opening the door and waiting for the child to leave.
Cody sighed, waving to Luska and Rein as he slowly left the shop under his mother's watchful gaze. Well, at least he didn't steal anything this time...
