Mashaka giggled and burried his head into his father long chest hair. The purple cub stood out a lot against his fathers grey color. He looked his father over and become painfully aware that he didn't have any featured of his fathers, other then his white toes.
Becoming sadden he lost intrest in playing any longer, he had moved back to where he was at the beginning of the day, questioning why he was where he was. Of course this brought out a nastier streak in him often. "I think I am ready to go back to grandma dad" he said roughly not caring to change his voice to hide his feelings.

Nazih looked down at his son the sudden change had him worried. "Whats the matter?" He asked with a concerned look on his face, one that only a father would have. He used his paw and held his son's face in place so the cub was looking at him. "What is going on in that little head of yours, hm? You look... sad or angry..." His voice trailed for a moment, trying to hold his own look strong, he didn't like the idea of his children being upset. Oh god he didn't like that. He wanted his children happy...
"I won't take you back unless you are in a good mood." His paw was gentle, but stern as he held his son's face.

Mashaka let out a huff, why was his father able to tell so easily that he was upset. Mashaka wasn't able to comprehend that his voice and attitude where a give away. "Nothing is wrong dad, I'm just tired." he let out a yawn to make it more convincing.
Mashaka wanted to have a tough guy attitude, but this was one thing he had the most problems with. He was angry about his parents division, and his new 'step-mother'. Mashaka looked up into his father's eyes to see if he was buying it and was made sad all over again by the color of his father's eyes.

As Naizh look into his son's eye he let out a sigh. He released his face before sighing. "I know thats not it, but if you don't want to tell me I won't make you." He pulled the cub closer to himself and nuzzled him before licking the side of his face. Then letting him go and messing with the cubs hair. "Just remember. I love you. Everyone in this small family loves you."
He gave the lion a half smile before flicking his tail behind him. "Your lucky to know your siblings and me... I never knew my family, well for most of my life." He gave the small cub a half smile before he turned toward the forest, back toward home. "come on little on." He said turning toward the cub for a moment and started walking once more. He really hoped that he wasn't failing as a father... He really did...

"I love you too dad" he said gently. He didn't want to upset his father, and maybe he was being silly about the whole thing. "I was just sad that I don't look anything like you." he said, looking down at his feet feeling rather silly about the whole thing now.
"I know I am lucky, and I am happy to be with my brothers and sisters, and you and grandma." he stated, purposely leaving out his fathers mate. "Lets go back and find grandma, she may be wondering where I have been all this time." he was a little worried about coming back to his grandmother and her scolding him for leaving her without her permission.

Nazih smiled softly at his son saying that he loved him too. He smiled at the smaller cub and nuzzled him softly. "Just because you don't look like me doesn't mean you aren't my son an you aren't proud." He smiled softly. "I'm glad you don't look exactly like me. Your sure more handsome than I am." He smirked softly before he started to trot a little more. "I'm pretty sure that grandma won't be that mad, because I found you. I'll talk to her." He chuckled softly before nodding toward the cub. "When I snuck away she didn't really get that mad." He chuckled again before continuing his trot

Mashaka skipped along side his father. He didn't mind going back to his family along side his family. In a way it made him feel special. "Thank you for playing with me daddy." he said before running a head of his father in the direction of his families home.
