The Best Friend - Jenny Luxley, as played by Natalie Portman

The Chaperone - Casey Rodgers, as played by Tommy "Tiny" Lister

The Mystery Girl - Tania Livingston, as played by Winona Ryder

The Bad Guy - President Levi Duncan as played by Patrick Stewart

The reasons:

Judd: She's far older than my MC is physically, but they're about the same mental age and she'd probably be the best able to really portray all the subtle emotions.

Portman: She's cute, quirky, and just looks bubbly, just like Jenny.

Lister: He's a massive black guy with a deep voice and broad shoulders - slap a guitar on his back and a few piercings on his face and you've got Casey down to a Tee.

Ryder: The actress plays creepy, subtle, dark, and secretive really, really well, and Tania is an enigma wrapped in a riddle, coded in Ancient Greek and translated poorly into Swahili.

Stewart: Who else can pull off a publically-loved, privately-egomaniacal pseudo-dictator without batting a lash?

I have this one main character, Max, who I can't seem to cast properly. He's loud and rambunctious, fairly badass. I picture him sounding and looking like a less fat Jack Black, but I don't trust his acting skills. Does anyone have any ideas?
