I have trouble finding songs that fit the characters... sweatdrop ...but that might be because I spend more time listening to the base line than the lyrics. xp

MeriThranduiliell After the last two episodes, this one reminds me of how Boone must sort of feel. (Actually a lot of the songs on that album seem to fit, but this one especially...) "My Goddess" by The Exies My Goddess I was knee deep in a sick love I was cross eyed under your drug Schizo savior, mad messiah Fatal worship you inspired
Gone, I don't believe in you now I've seen too much I don't believe in you now My Goddess
You were counting on a freefall You laid your bet I would lose all Chalk up one less crucifixion I kicked that sick, old addiction
Down, I don't believe in you now I've seen too much I don't believe in you now My Goddess
Now you see what you get when you lose yourself What you get when you don't know who you are when you don't know who you are My GoddessThat's insane. Are you sure they wrote this before they watched lost lol.

I bet they did. Argh. I have to go find more lyrics to post because I'll hear and song and just 'wow thats' like(insert character or moment from lost here)' but then forget to look up the lyrics.

I finally found a Lost song! It's called Shiver bu Coldplay (I listen to a lot of Coldplay). Most of the songs remind me of Farscape, but I was listening to this song in class today, and I was like "OMG!! It's a Lost song!" at which point I listened to it about 10 more times. It reminds me of Charlie and Claire. But then I forgot the words, so I can't post them. Maybe later?...

Okay, I know that Sayid's the one with the episode called 'Solitary' but this song just reminded me of Sawyer so here are the lyrics. Anyone who has heard the song would (hopefully) agree with me. Boulevard of Broken Dreams Green Day I walk a lonely road The only one that I have ever known Don't know where it goes But it's home to me and I walk alone I walk this empty street On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams Where the city sleeps And I'm the only one and I walk alone I walk alone I walk alone I walk alone I walk a... My shadow's the only one that walks beside me My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me 'Til then I walk alone I'm walking down the line That divides me somewhere in my mind On the border line of the edge and where I walk alone Read between the lines of ******** up and everything's alright Check my vital signs To know I'm still alive and I walk alone I walk alone I walk alone I walk alone I walk a... My shadow's the only one that walks beside me My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me 'Till then I walk alone I walk alone I walk a... I walk this empty street On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams Where the city sleeps And I'm the only one and I walk a... My shadow's the only one that walks beside me My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me 'Till then I walk alone

Heh, I think I've been roleplaying Boone too long- I keep finding songs that remind me of his situation. (As in most of Third Eye Blind's title cd) sweatdrop
Here's one that I think fits:
"How's it going to be" I'm only pretty sure that I can't take anymore, Before you take a swing, I wonder what are we fighting for, When I say out loud, I want to get out of this, I wonder, Is there anything I'm going to miss, I wonder
How's it going to be, When you don't know me, How's it going to be, When you're sure I'm not there, How's it going to be, When there is no one there to talk to, Between you and me, 'Cause I don't care, How's it going to be, How's it going to be,
Where we used to laugh, There's a shouting match, Sharp as a thumbnail scratch, A silence I can't ignore, Like . . The hammock by the doorway we spent time in, Swing empty, don't see lightning like last fall when it was always about to hit me, I wonder
How's it going to be, When it goes down, How's it going to be, When you're not around, How's it going to be, When you find out there was nothing, Between you and me, 'Cause I don't care, How's it going to be,
How's it going to be When you don't know me, any more And How's it going to be
Want to get myself back in again, The soft dive of oblivion. Want to taste the salt of your skin The soft dive of oblivion, oblivion
How's it going to be, When you don't know me, anymore, How's it going to be, How's it going to be, How's it going to be

Before I make an entry, I would like everyone to know that I did NOT wreck Nolah's CD, though I can see why she'd say it was me. I suppose I'm the easiest one to blame stare .
Aaaanyway, there's a song by the New Radicals that reminds me of Boone and Shannon, and the way Boone's feeling about Shannon's new found attraction to Sayid.
Crying Like a Church on Monday- New Radicals
I was dancing With your shadow Slow down memories hall I said wait, 'I've been seduced and forgotten' You said "Baby haven't we all" Now I don't like crying 'Cos it only gets me wet But I can't help failing To remember to forget you 'cos I know it's gonna be a long time
Now I'm crying like a church on Monday Praying for these feelings to go away So do me a favor baby Put down your new god And love me like Sunday again
I was hiding in your bedroom When I saw him come inside I can't live, oh, in his shadow is that where I'm dancing til I die
Now I don't light candles 'Cos they make me see the light But I can't help failing To remember to forget you 'Cos I know it's gonna be a long time
(hey)
Now I'm crying like a church on Monday praying for these feelings to go away So do me a favor baby Put down your new god And love me like Sunday again
