Lee put her hands to her mouth as Eli explained what Rosco shouldn't be doing. Ooops. "It would be good to have him chew on things other than my shoes... I'll find some of those." She smiled a bit and looked up at him with a guilty expression. I didn't know... Lauss would remain vigilant, scolding him whenever he bit down on anything that wasn't for biting. He felt a little pity for the dog, not being able to bite whatever he pleased, but if that's what he needed to do to be a proper owner, he'd do it.
Mrs. Katan cocked her head at the pair Uzi chose. Interesting. She was sure Uzi would prefer something more "boot" like, or at least close-toed, but was very pleased she was going for the classy but sexy look instead. "Those will look great on you." She smiled devilishly, as if to say, "you won't be able to get the boys off you in these babies..." Bending down and lifting the pair Uzi'd picked out, she held them out to her. "I'll be expecting a nice fox pelt soon." Nothing worth having comes for free, young one, remember that.

" It's ok I lost a good pair of boots to Kell in his puppy years too becuase I couldn't bear to be harsh on him. You learn though it's better for them to not chew on your footwear though." Eli explained trying to still be reassuring. He didn't want Lee hating him just for explaining how the puppy should be raised.
" You will have to carry them until we return to Eli" there was no way for Uzi to carry them in her mouth without risking damage from her teeth to the delicate looking straps. Uzi have a soft rumble of laughter " Of course, I will head out as soon as possible." The now female essentic had no problem trading the skins of her kills for things she would find useful as she grew.

Lee giggled a bit. Kell seemed like such a well-behaved dog, to think that he did those sorts of things. To think of him as a puppy at all was amusing. Lauss chimed in. "I'll be harsh on him, Mister Eli." He nodded. Don't you worry, sir, Lauss is on the job.
"Oh, of course." The woman brought the shoes up to her chest and nodded. She headed out the door with the proto, and thought to tell her a little something while they were away from Eli. "These are very expensive, Uzi, and you can't let Mister Galvao throw them away." Don't let him keep you from being who you want to be, Uzi was what she was trying to say. Oh, she had seen his displeasure when hearing about Uzi becoming a girl, but hey, too bad. She smiled when hearing the essentic laugh; this one would be a man-eater, that was for sure. Or, at least that was what Mrs. Katan was hoping for. "Bring me your finest..." She smiled playfully down at Uzi as the two managed down the stairs once more and to the others side. Mrs. Katan held up Uzi's new kickers and showed them to Eli. "Aren't these lovely?" She smiled devilishly, almost challenging the man. "Uzi here wants to take them home, is that alright with you, Mister Galvao?"

Eli'z eyes flicked from the shoes, what there was of them, to Mrs. katan's face to Uzi's. It was a conspiracy to make him lose his mind we was sure. " That's uh fine, they are certainly interesting." Maybe he could convince Kell to go back to chewing things just once, or maybe it wouldn't be so bad he couldn't be sure.
Uzi remained silent but the glow of her eyes showed just how amused by this the essentic was.

"Wonderful." Good boy. No complaints. She handed the heels to the man coolly, hoping Uzi would make sure to keep an eye on them. She looked down to see Rosco once again in the care of Lauss, and looked back up at Eli. "The dog checks out fine, yes?"
Lauss glided to the other essentics side. "You're going to be a miss, Miss Uzi?" That's neat. Good luck with that. It felt better to refer to her with a title. Just "Uzi" never sounded right, anyway. "Miss Lee makes it look like a challenge. It should be entertaining, I imagine." It seemed even Lauss was against Eli.

Eli nodded " Yeah Rosco is fine, I can stop by again next month to make sure he's still progressing properly." the redhead offered.
" I like challenges" Uzi pointed out to her friend " and you don;t have to call me Miss" No need for formality between them.

Mrs. Katan nodded to the man and grinned, her eyes narrowing. "That sounds perfect, Mister Galvao." She straightened her skirt and looked over to Uzi. "Well, I'm sure you two don't want to spend your whole day here, now do you?" Lee disappointingly looked up at her mother. She was shooing them off already? Really now, Lauss and Uzi had hardly gotten to speak to one another. Though in all honesty, Uzi seemed more interested in her mother than in Lauss.
No "Miss"? This was the third person -- that he could recall -- that had requested that of him. But, he loved titles... Fine. "Just Uzi, then." He nodded to the other, looking up to the lady of the household. Don't make them leave, Mrs. Katan...

" I wouldn't want to inconvenience you or anything" That and he was a bit nervous about what others kinds of ideas she might get stuck in Uzi's head.

Mrs. Katan ushered the man toward the door gently, shooing Eli and his essentic away while somehow still seeming polite. "I see. Well, it was wonderful having you over." Lee tilted her head and followed the group, not understanding how it was okay for her to have said anything buy "No inconvenience at all!" like everyone else did.
Lauss cocked his head just as his owner had done. Well, this was Rosco's last chance to prove he wasn't as stupid as he looked. Lauss placed him on the ground in front of him, and lowered his hand as he commanded, "Sit." And, miracle of miracles, Rosco the puppy had done as he was told, placing his little bottom on the ground and looking up at the proto in front of him. Lauss was silent for a moment, amazed that the pup had actually listened, and eventually praised him in his monotone voice. "Good boy." He patted his furry head and looked to Eli, hoping he had watched the trick.
