Faiz loved how he could be so relaxed around his 'Liua. She didn't spar with him verbally, didn't make him chase after her, didn't judge him. He could simply relax and be with her and that was enough.
"Your heart is racing, my flower. I can feel it. I wonder," he paused there to glance up, his eyes a slightly darker shade than normal, though he was most certainly not angry with her. Not with the deep, low tone he was speaking in.
"Does it race in apprehension, or excitement?" he asked, his voice carrying a small purr with his words as he nuzzled her jaw.

Racing? He could feel it? She looked a little confused, before her cheeks noticeably flushed pink, slightly embarrassed by it all. He paused, though, looking up to her, and she frowned convincingly, as if asking what was wrong. His question threw her a little, but Tuliua wasn't stupid - she was quick to respond with a sweet, bright smile as she reached forwards to fondly lick Faiz's jaw.
"Why, excitement, of course!" she purred. nuzzling him back as she shuffled a little closer.

Despite her reassurance, he was still unconvinced. Faiz let out a slow sigh and stood, lowering his head to rub gently against hers.
"Are you sure, my sweet? I would hate myself if we were to do this and you only wanted to because it would make me happy," he asked quietly, nuzzling her continuously as he spoke. Yes, he knew that she would often agree with him simply to please, that she put his and the needs of others far before her own and that did rather make him unhappy. Much as he liked her sweet attitude, he did not wish his 'Liua to be walked over, not by his other females, most certainly not by other males, and definitely not by him. A wicked part of him questioned whether it was okay to if she allowed others to walk over her with open paws, but he smothered that thought. He did not want his treasure abused.

He sighed and stood, and her face fell in sadness. Had she not done anything right? Was she doing it all wrong and he couldn't be bothered with her anymore? Or...not, as it seemed? She purred gratefully as they rubbed heads, listening carefully to his words.
Was she sure? She did only want to do it to make Faiz happy, but wasn't that enough of a reason? She glanced to the ground, before looking up with a smile. Yes - it was a good enough reason. "I'm sure, Faiz."

He had asked several times, and each time she had told him yes. That was enough for him.
He continued to nuzzle her fondly, his own heart starting to beat faster in anticipation. How he longed to see cubs with Tuliua's beauty and sweet temper, with his strength and intelligence. Perhaps, soon, his wish would be granted.
"Worry not, my sweet Tuliua. I'm really very gentle," he whispered in her ear, the words just a soft, inaudible sound in the rest of the den. And he was. When he needed, wanted to be. And for her, he would be so. More so than any other could possibly imagine.
((I think that's a good/appropriate place to stop. XD))
