Cody laughed and allowed himself to be led through his living room and occasional, scattered toy that he forgot to pick up earlier. "I do have Candy Land, is up here still from night before, too," he replied, glancing around for the familiar, colorful box. Quickly spotting it, the child grabbed it and set it down on the floor, quickly setting it up. It didn't take long, since he had done it dozens of times before and had it pretty much memorized. "You start first or do you want me to?"

"Psh, me leave the house with him? Alone? Pah, never. Not since I was forced to watch him last month and dropped him off at a church thing and forgot about him. Shadai pretty much never left us together and alone again, to say the least," she replied, finishing her tea as well, setting it onto the side table.

"Shadai basically took one of my old shirts and shorts, slapped them on him, and dragged him out the door. Returned around dinner time with enough shopping bags of food and clothes," she finished, watching the two start up a game of Candy Land. "Hm? Oh, right... Nah, Cody wouldn't let you. And I wouldn't bother asking to play as well, there's only two game pieces left. Cody has pretty much stolen the rest. Like with all his other games... Irritating little thief..."

Cody laughed and drew a card, moving his piece to the place it said to and then doing what the space said. Which, thankfully, was nothing as the spot was blank. "Kay, your turn," he said, waiting for the toddler to move as well, hoping he would pull ahead so that he would win. Cody honestly didn't want his friend to feel bad if he happened to lose in a game that pretty much relied on luck and the card you drew.

"Beats me. Probably to show them off as trophies or... something," Arytiss replied, then snorted at his second question. "I'm not related at all. Shadai and I share the rent here. Well, she owns the place, I'm basically just renting a room for now since we became friends when she was a child and I was still touring Earth," she explained, moving around the couch and settling into it since it seemed like it would be a while till she actually had to DO something. "What about you? Anyone staying in the same house as you and Ѐdes?"

Cody shrugged, glancing over at Arytiss and Noel, surprised to see that the female was actually conversing with him. She rarely talked with others in a calm manner, other than where she worked. And even then her tone was often cold and rather bored sounding... Oh well, she was weird and rather scary so why think about it? "I dunno what you'd win. Never won anything in games," he replied, blinking in surprise at the question.

"I know, conversations with a toddler rarely last long. And what in the hell are you looking at?" Arytiss snapped when Cody looked her way, causing him to quickly look back and continue on with the game. Sighing, the female leaned back into the couch, bored.

Cody frowned slightly in thought, trying to think of something. "I can... give new hair feather. That way you have one from before and one now," he suggested, not too terribly willing to give up one of his possessions just because the other had won a simple game of Candy Land.

"No, just bored; I've been stuck in this house all day, babysitting Cody. And all he's done is sit around," Arytiss replied, glancing at the other for a moment before suddenly noticing that Cody was looking rather... sleepy. Oh, joy. A sleeping child was even more boring than one just sitting around and playing games.

"It IS special, cause no one else has both feathers," Cody replied, drawing a card and scowling when it took him to a spot that said to go back five places. Which was a step back from where he had been. Darn it! Oh well, at least Ѐdes was having fun. Yawning, the child tried to think through the haze that had suddenly enveloped his mind that came with exhaustion and sleep. It wouldn't be long till he was out cold...

Arytiss shook her head, yawning. Ugh, great, now she was starting to become tired. Yet it wasn't as bad as Cody, who looked ready to conk out. "Pah. Hard to do anything with him awake and active. Which is most of the time," she replied, nudging the child using her foot and causing him to sway for a moment before shooting her a glare, as if to say he was awake and not to touch him again.

Cody blinked as the toddler crawled into his lap, wrapping his arms lightly around him. "Kay. Here," he muttered, lightly pulling a feather from his hair and giving it to the rather sleepy Ѐdes in his arms. "I'll nap with you, then, until you have to go," he muttered, leaning against the armchair behind him and releasing yet another yawn. It seemed like the closer Ѐdes got to falling asleep, the sleepier he got. Just like before...

"So? I'm not his guardian nor a nice person. Nice doesn't get you very far in the world," Arytiss replied, really wanting to curl up in her room with the AC on full blast. Ah, that sounded like a good idea, actually... Maybe she would do that when Noel and Ѐdes left while Cody was unconscious still. Heh, maybe she could barricade him into his room later to keep him in one place.

Cody yawned once more, his wings flaring out and curling around his form since they couldn't fold behind his back comfortably. Once he had settled, the child's head slowly slid to the side as he fell asleep. Soft breathing signaled the hybrid was indeed unconscious, curled almost protectively around the toddler in his arms.

"Happy is good, yet sometimes a little attitude goes a long way. That's all I'm saying," Arytiss replied, glancing at the door as it clicked and opened, revealing a rather tired Shadai. "Evening. Well, your... child sat around all day and played with Ѐdes here and fell asleep like that. Yes I fed him lunch and dinner, no he didn't take anything. Now, I'm going back to my room; this place is too stuffy anyways," she said, her tone rather bored sounding as she stood, straightened her clothes a bit and headed for the stairs.

"Uhm... Hello to you too... Ah, Noel, I'm sorry you had to put up with her. If I had known you were going to come over, I would have traded with someone," Shadai replied softly, placing her keys back into her purse and setting it onto the hook by the door. "I see the two had fun again. Maybe we should have them together more if just being around Ѐdes puts him out cold," the Egyptian added, smiling and wandering over to the male, glancing at the two sleeping spawns. Yeah, she'd definitely have to have Ѐdes and Noel over more often.

Cody's arms tightened around the toddler, keeping him close. Shadai stared at the two for a moment before returning her gaze to Noel. "Alright, if you say so. I know how... opinionated she can be some days," the female replied, giggling softly at how peaceful Cody and Ѐdes looked together.

"I don't know how Cody would take having Ѐdes taken away from him... What about a rough start? Oh dear, Cody didn't take anything and hide, did he?" she asked, worried about what Cody might have done for Noel to say they had a "rough start". Which, to her, could mean almost anything.
